Chapter 40
Dear diary, as I’ve learned Lola’s story, I had hope she had good reasons for her behavior. I’ve learned she is just a product of her raising. I can’t help but to wonder, if or how different would she be with better parents. She was born in the year 1982, a very conservative time compared to today. Her mother only had her because she was pressured by society of that era. She made it painfully obvious to Lola that she was not wanted and that she was responsible for her mother ruined life. Now that her mother was stuck in her situation she tried, but couldn’t handle the responsibilities of a parent. So she left, when Lola was just a toddler. She still remembers the day when she learned her mother left her vividly. Most of her childhood and even during her teen years, she blamed herself for the misery of her mother and could not forgive herself. Her father however, was the complete opposite. He loved his daughter more than life itself and spoiled her beyond reason. She got her high self-esteem thanks to him. Soon her self-esteem turned into arrogance, which led to a typical narcissistic behavior that still remains in her today. She never learned the meaning of the word no from her father and started making more and more outrages demands, he had to please. When she entered adulthood, she learned a painful lesson. She can’t have everything she wants. Something that is obvious to most people. That’s when violent outbursts of rage first happened. She has no interest of curing them. One of them caused her to murder her then boyfriend. She expected their relationship to be like her relationship with her father, she expected him to oblige her every crazy demand. He met his demise when he refused. She was able to cover up the murder with the help of her father, their money and connection they have established. She never got education higher than high school, not because she couldn’t, but because she didn’t want to. Her opinion is that it would just hold her down. She rather spent her early years traveling, exploring the world, completely forgetting and letting go of her crime. Her travels made it possible for her to discover the great mystery of Ponce de Leon and then this happened. She never wanted to share her formula for immortality with her father. Still, he hired top scientist to develop formula which sees who is the descendant of Ponce, a test that is still used today. She didn’t go into details of explaining the science behind it, which wasn’t my main interest anyways. When it was fully developed and ready for used, she went on to find those special people with the help of hospital records, which now she has full access to. This went on for thirty years. She was killing more and more people and her father begged her to stop. “After everything I have done for you would you please grant me this one favor?” He said to her. She still remembers the words precisely. Her father threated to turn her in, but he never did. She was well into her fifties when her father begged her to stop, but she didn’t look a day over twenty-five, just like today. No one would believe his story and she knew that. Not much later after that, questioning by police, FBI, started to happen and she knew it wouldn’t take long for them to uncover the truth. She needed to protect herself and she was able to convince her father to take the blame. That’s how he became known as the Vampire killer, one of the most terrifying serial killers of the 21st century, even though he never killed a soul. The real killer, sitting in front of me, told the story without a drop of remorse. Her victim count was high, enough so that her blood supply lasted many years, almost two decades. She needed to come up with a new way to get what she wanted, without being suspicious. By that time, she already faked her death, so to the world, she no longer existed. She still was well connected to influential people under her false persona. She made all sorts of deals and exchanges in order to receive the right people. One of her better known scams is the corn poisoning that took place in the previous century. Soon after the Murder cards developed and here we are today.
