Yesterday was interesting to say the least. Shanadu reminds me of Dad, while his sons remind me of Rory and Vance. Which I haven’t decided yet if that is a good or bad thing. The fact that their ancestor had tricked the dark fey king into an arranged marriage pissed me off. I was glad to hear that the girls got the last laugh. Not sure how they didn’t sense that they were using their magic to trick Redmond but I don’t care, The guy sounds like a massive dick and deserved everything he got. At least we know where my little copper flame got her gorgeous hair and eye colour from. Speaking of my little copper flame, I was still annoyed with her when she disappeared like that. I thought we were being attacked or something.

“Sorry I didn’t want your Dad to see his birthday present.” Kodi told me.

“I get that but I thought we were under attack or something worse was happening. You could have told me about ordering him a birthday present.” I pointed out.

“Reign I love you, but you are as good at keeping a secret from your father as my brothers are at keeping secrets.” She replied.

I could hear Blade laughing his ass of in my head. Asshole, but she was right. When it came to dad I couldn’t keep things from him and if I tried he always knew I was hiding something from him. The two of us were close and I think it was because we lost Mom and leaned on each other for support. Lets not forget we raised Dani together. I believe this is the only reason Dad survived losing Mom. I was hoping he would find his second chance mate, but I know those are rare. I lifted my eyes as I caught Kodi shuffling in her seat. I let out a huff and sat back in my chair.

“My little copper flame you are strangely fidgety. What is running through that pretty little hear of yours?” I asked.

“Promise not to get mad?” She asked.

I pulled her into my lap causing her to squeak. I chuckled as she glared at me. I nuzzled into her neck where my mark is making her giggle and shiver. She leaned away from me and swatted at my hands. I have no intention of apologising. My little Luna is gorgeous and I can’t and won’t keep my hands off of her.

“I am not going to get mad.” I told her.

“One of my college professors emailed me the other day. She is having problems with a stalker and is moving here. I guess he has threatened her. I know as supernaturals we don’t tell humans about us, but she already knows about our world. Before you ask, I guess where she grew up her parents were close with the local vampire clan. Her mother was a doctor and saved one of the clan when he was severely injured. The guy happened to be the son of the clan leader and he and his mate were so thankful that her mother saved their son they told them about our world.” Kodi explains.

“She is more than welcome here. We have a couple of humans that are mated to pack members. I will speak with Dad. I don’t think he will care.” I told her.

That won me one of her sweet smiles. She returned to her chair which made Blade whine in my head. I guess it escaped because she giggled at me as she grabbed her book and sat back down in my lap. At least my sappy wolf stopped whining.

Blade turned his back letting out a growl as he went and hid in a dark corner of my mind. Kodi was focused on her book so I went back to work. I did get a little pouty when she stood up kissing my cheek before walking out. I knew she had some Luna duties to do, but she could do them from here.

“And why pray tell are you sulking?” Dad asked.

I let out a growl causing Dad to raise an eye brow at me. I shook my head as he sat down across from me.

“I know you weren’t growling at me so what has my son is such a shitty mood. Could it be because his Luna is down training the women so they can protect themselves.” Dad commented.

“Kodi asked if one of her professors from college could come here. She is human.” I say.

I retold him what Kodi had told me. I could tell that Dad was intrigued but when I said that the woman was being stalked he let out a growl. That is one thing Dad, Konor, and Chiron beat into us boys, under no circumstance is there a reason to threaten a woman. Women are to be treated with respect. I can remember Ino smarting off to a girl, now that girl was being a bitch, but what Ino said was way out of line and Konor let him know. After that we never said anything remotely derogatory to any woman or girl again. I still think she deserved it since she called him a dirty fag, but I did understand that he took his rebuttal to far.

“You tell her that was fine, right?” Dad asked.

“Yes, I am sure she will let her know that it is okay for her to come here and live.” I told him.

Dad hangs out for a little longer as we discuss some business. He wanders out a little but later as I hear Kodi’s voice waft up from down stairs. I know she will go straight to our room and shower. I was thrilled when she said she wanted to train the women, more specifically the omega’s, so they would be able to protect themselves. I know a few of the guys had something to say about this, but they smartly kept their mouth shut. They might be in the mindset that women are the weaker sex, but after Kodi has thoroughly put most of them on their asses and after seeing what she is capable of they decided that their lives were more important than their views on women.

I let out a groan when I read an email from one of my over seas business partners. The man is annoying as hell. Looks like I will be heading to Europe to meet with few investors. I don’t like that idea or the idea of leaving the pack and Kodi. Maybe I can convince her to come with me.

Elidrium (Eli)

I had spoken to Reign three days ago. He told me about this Eros guy and when he told me who he was I lost my shit. I remembered him and his buddy going on about how Kodi shouldn’t have been in that last surf competition. They were just butt hurt they got beat by a girl. Guys with egos that fragile make me laugh. I knew Kodi would win. It wasn’t like I wasn't upset that I didn’t win, but I knew I wouldn’t once I learned that she was in the same competition I was. Reign then told me that they had found out that this Eros guy was Zenos’s son I was floored. We had all heard the rumours that Zenos had found his mate, but nothing had ever been confirmed.

“So you want my help in finding them?” I asked.

“Yes, but I was hoping that you would take lead on this. I have contacts I can reach out to that would be more than willing to help, but it might look suspicious if a bunch of wolves started being seen where they might be. I am sure there are packs wherever they are which I am sure they are use to, but I don’t need them getting suspicious of new wolves.” Reign told me.

“That makes sense and I am more than happy to take lead on this. I wanted to punch those two when they were saying that shit about Kodi.” I state.

“Thanks, I really appreciate this.” Reign sighs.

“It isn’t a problem. I would still like to set up a meeting with Fern if he is willing.” I comment.

“I will talk with Kodi and Fern. I know he has talked to his parents and both knew very little of their families history. I believe someone wanted it that way, but why I am not sure.” Reign told me.

We part ways. Sounds like someone in Fern’s family was trying to hide their link to the supernatural world. I had been told that one of my great great uncles had found his mate but she had disappeared. I don’t think that was who Kodi found. I knew of another relative that had left the family. My mother told me about one of her cousins that left the family when their grandfather denied her the ability to be with her fated mate who was human. No one knew when she left or where she left to. Looking at Fern’s grandmother I think she is my mother’s missing cousin. The brother to the king Kodi was telling the others about was my uncle, but Fern doesn’t look anything like him or his suspected fated mate.

“Hi honey you asked stop by.” Mom said.

“Yes, thanks for coming.” I tell her.

I explain what I know and I can tell she is intrigued. I show her a picture of Fern and I knew my suspicion was right when she let out a gasp. She tells me of her cousin Rochellena.

“So she truly did disappear.” I say.

“No, she me her mate and knew that our grand father wouldn’t approve since he was human, but she didn’t care. Her parents knew about him and had no issues, but our grandparents were old school and purists. If they would have seen them together they would have killed him. She left to be with him and never came back. I knew she was going but I had no idea she had a family. I spoke to her a few time after but eventually we lost contact. My father told me that her brother had found her and her mate, but they had been killed. I am not sure what happened to the children they had, but they clearly survived.” Mom explained.

“The vampire gene is more than likely dormant within him. If he were to have a vampire mate or be bitten it might activate it, but who knows. Clearly that won’t happen since he is mated to the beta of the pack.” She adds.

She does ask if there is a possibility that Fern would meet with us and I tell her that I am trying to arrange that. She smiles at me as she walks out.

“We may or may not have a problem.” Xenton announces.

“What does that mean?” I ask.

“Quinton got a round about location on Eros, which means we have a round about location on Zenos.” Xenton states.

“Okay, where are the fuckers?” I asked.

“In Russia, but we can’t get an exact location. When we try we get filtered to some weird part of the country or one of the other countries that used to be part of Russia. They have some hacker god working for them who is able to throw us off. We were able to find that Jeremy is the son of Rodolfo.” Xenton explained.

Fuck, that is the last person I was hoping we come across while trying to find those fuckers. Quinton says that he was able to find out that Zenos does have a fated mate and that her name is Dobrita. Again, another person I didn’t want to deal with. She is a powerful witch and also crazy.

“You going to tell Reign what we know?” Quinton asked.

“Not yet. I want to know more before I tell him. We also need to find our own hacker god. They might have a great one but there is always someone better.” I point out.

“I know of someone, but in order to get a hold of him we are going to have to ask Kodi or Reign.” Quinton says.

“And who would this person be?” I asked.

“Duncan.” Quinton answers.
