The Mate of Two: The Ruby Wolf Series

The events from the night ran through my head as I laid there with her sleeping form in my arms.

Her words last night had sent heat through my veins. I had searched her eyes for any hint of uncertainty. When I didn't find any I couldn't keep control.

The first day I saw her I wanted to mate with her. But I had to hold back because she didn't know about our kind.

Last night was pure bliss as I devoured her body. Her moans vibrating off the walls as I showed her what her body did to me.

*Flashback*

"Blake!" She moaned as I slid a finger into her tight folds.

She was whimpering as I added my mouth. Getting her wet and ready.

I smiled as I felt her orgasm. She tasted divine.

I crawled back up her body and captured her lips once more.

Her hands found her way to my belt once more. Pulling at it to get it unclasped.

Once she had them undone she slid them down my hips taking my boxers with them.

I quickly kicked them off never once breaking the kiss.

I slowly pushed in. Letting her adjust to me.

Her eyes shut as she gripped my arms. I saw a tear run down her cheek and leaned down kissing it away.

When I got to her barrier I broke through as gently as I could. Then I stopped moving to let her adjust.

Her cry of pain rang out through the room..

"I'm going to move now." I said, she whimpered in pain but nodded. I slowly moved my hips. Soon her whimpers of pain turned to moans of pleasure.

Her hips came up to meet mine. A growl ripped through me as I felt her tighten around me.

She moaned my name as I picked up my pace after her first orgasm.

My lips found hers as I lifted her hips up. Getting a different angle. Making her gasp, allowing me to slip my tongue within her mouth.

I almost let go when she came once more. Her body clenching around mine.

I quickened my pace.

"Blake!" She gasped as I flipped us over. Her being on top.

"I-I-I d-dont kn-know how to do th-this." She stuttered.

"Mmmm.." I moaned as she giggled her hips to try and get into a more comfortable position.

When she saw my reaction, she did it again. This time making me growl as I gripped her hips. She gave me a shy smile as she started it again. In a slow continued pace.

I threw my head back with a moan as she rolled her hips.

"Damn it, Ar." I gasped. I was on the edge but I didn't want to cum just yet. Her climax didn't help my resolve as she groaned and continued riding out her orgasm.

Her body shuddered as she slowed. I took that as a chance to switch us back around.

My lips crashed to hers as I slid inside her once more.

"Blake!" Her voice was so soft as she gripped my shoulders.

"Uh!" She groaned, throwing her head back into the pillows.

I picked up my pace as I needed the edge. I felt her come once more and slowed. I wanted her to cum again.

My pace quickened as I neared my end. She clentched around me sending me over the edge as she came too.

"MARK HER!" Jax screamed in my head.

When it healed it'd be a soft purple color, a crest moon shape began to form in the center already. Showing to everyone she was mine.

I smiled down at her and pulled out. Her eyes were closed but she was breathing heavily as she played there.

Slowly her breathing calmed. Showing she fell asleep. I smiled and got off the bed. Going into the bathroom to clean myself up and grab a cloth to clean her up as well.

After I was finished I adjusted her to be under the blankets before getting under them and pulling her close.

I smiled down at her. She was curled to my side, my mark visible on her pale skin.

Our mating almost fully completed. Just had to complete her marking of me. 2 years was indeed a long time, As Jax said.

I couldn't wait until her mark was on me. Jax growled at the thought.

'Blake. We have a problem. I need you to meet me at the cottage of the southern territory.' Jeb said to me through the mind link.

I internally sighed. I was about to get up when he added, 'The New Luna's presence is also required, Blake. The council is here. They demand her presence.'

'Why the hell is the council here!' I demanded.

'Angus summoned them. I don't know how. It may have been prior to their return. But they are angry at how you are treating your parents. Even though they agreed to letting you banish them.'

'Bring them to the conference room. I do not want a show. This needs to be handed in private. I will be informing the council on their previous actions.'

'Of course.'

I looked down at Ariel and sighed. I had to wake her. But I didn't wanted too.

"Baby." I said softly, lightly shaking her.

"Hmm." She mumbled turning over. "5 more minutes."

"Baby girl, we gotta get up. We have an important meeting to attend." I said as I slid out of the bed.

She turned and looked at me. "I thought I didnt do anything until after I got my wolf and became Luna?"

"This issue is..... Let's say.... Special..."

"Oh."

"I'm going to shower and then you can. Just so that you come down a bit later. I have some things to discuss before you arrive. I will send Jeb to get you. Pick something nice and business like to wear please." I said before I leaned down and kissed her lips.

I walked into the bathroom and started up the shower.

After about ten minutes I was out and wrapping a towel around myself. When I walked into the closet she was going through her clothes. A deep sigh escaped her lips as she stopped going through her clothing.

I came up behind her and wrapped my arms around her body.

"I don't have anything." She sighed again.

"I'll send something up for you." I said as I kissed her mark and pulled back. "Go shower, Love." I lightly pushed her towards the bathroom.

The door shut with a soft click.

After I was dressed I headed down to the kitchen.

"Jem, please fix a quick light breakfast and have Jeb bring it up to my room." I said to one of the kitchen staff who was busy cleaning up from the pack breakfast.

She bowed and said "of course, Alpha."

"Annet." I called as I left the kitchen.

"Yes, Alpha." She said, coming out of her office.

"Have a business outfit sent up to my room please. For a woman, size 13. Black with a red undershirt."

She raised her eyebrows at me but nodded her head and bowed.

I headed for the conference room. Where I knew they waited.

'They are getting very restless.'

'I am on my way to the room. I need you to bring Ariel her breakfast. I don't want the staff to do it.'

'Of course.'

I walked up to the room as Jeb stepped out.

"They are all yours." He nodded.

I gave a tight smile and nod of the head. "Bring Ariel down as soon as she is ready. Check with Annet on your way through. Make sure she did what I asked."

"Of course." He said before turning and heading down the hall.

I took a deep breath and stepped through the doors.

ARIELS P.O.V.

After Blake had me shower I stood in front of my clothing once more. I didn't have anything worth wearing for a business meeting.

A knock at the door made me jump. I quickly grabbed a robe and wrapped it around tying it in front of me.

When I answered Jeb stood there holding a tray of food and a clothing bag.

He smiled as I stepped off to the side to let him in.

"Blake wants you to eat before coming down. He also noticed you needed clothing for the meeting so he had this sent up. We will be taking you shopping tomorrow."

"Oh. Thanks." I said as I sat on the couch. The food in front of me didn't look as appetizing as what I'd hoped. But that was due to my nerves.

I ate a few bites while Jeb sat there telling me about what was going on.

"So... The council.. Wants to meet me, because of his parents?"

"You can say that, yes."

"So, is he gonna tell them about me?"

"I don't know. But I know if he does he won't say it in front of his parents. That will just bring chaos."

"Ah okay."

"Go get dressed and we will head down." He said when I pushed the tray away.

I gave him a nod and headed into the closet with the clothing bag in hand.

After I was dressed and ready I stepped out.

"No makeup?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I am wearing makeup." I said a little annoyed.

"Oh. You just have so little on I didn't notice."

"Do I have to have it on in the first place though?"

"You want to look nice, clean and professional."

"But I can look that way without makeup."

"True. But the council.... They... They're pigs. Pretty much. They aren't great men... They are very sexist...."

"Oh. So shall we go then?"

"Of course."

He let me exit first before he followed. Then he took me to the conference room.

I could hear shouts the closer we got.

"Blake's pissed." He warned me. "The council is trying to grant Angus and Tory a safe haven within our pack. Even after what Blake said they did."

"Why are they that stupid?" I asked, it came out before I could stop it.

He gave a small laugh. "I have asked that as well."

We came to stop in front of the doors and the shouts were louder than ever.

"Like hell that will happen! I refuse to welcome these traitors in my pack! I find it repulsive that you are allowing them to still remain alive with all of the danger and deaths they brought." Blake said as we entered the room.

"They stated their case. We understand, Damien is the most powerful vampire alive. If he decides to come for-"

"That is just an excuse and you all know it. We could call Kameran knight and he will tell you what Damien's objective has been these last few years."

One of the men in the room looked over at me before anyone could speak again. "Who is she?"

Blake stood and turned to me. They sat at a large table, blake taking the head. The chair on the right of him empty as well as the left.

"She." Blake said walking over to me. "Is my mate. Ariel Ann Locke."

When he said that the room erupted.

"SILENCE!" He roared. The entire room went quiet.

"Alpha Blake, you know we don't appreciate you using that tone with us. Even if you are the rightful ruler. We still don't want a king again after what your great grandfather did." One of the men said.

"I do not care. I will not allow you to speak ill of my mate. I do know what my great grandfather did. But again as I have said before I am not him. It is not my fault. I also have told you if you really don't need me to be the King I was meant to be, that you needed to end always looking to me for the final day in all matters. Now yes, my mate is a human. I will get into full detail of the situation. But I want the traitors back in their cottage. I have no desire for them to be here any longer."

"We still haven't come to an agreement-" Blake cut the man off and said in a very stern growl "There is nothing else to discuss. I refuse to allow them any type of freedom. They are traitors and will stay as such till the end of their lives."

Everyone in the room bowed to him with a glare.

"If we could make it illegal for you to use your power against us we would."

"That's the thing, Kansto, you can not. The council can never go against the rightful King. The sooner you realize that the better we will be off. None of you will ever be able to make a decision without me having final say."

They were all silent as they glared at Blake. If this weren't important I'd drag him back to our room. I shifted as I tried pushing the thoughts of his hands, his mouth all over my body out of my mind.

Blake had one arm wrapped around the back of me. His hand tightened on my hip as a warning. I looked up at him and saw his gaze already on me. Lust swam in his gaze. I blushed and looked away.

The guards finally came in and took his parents away. Blake led me to the chair next to him. I sat on his right while Jeb sat on his left.

"Now, you are all aware of the Ruby Wolf. Correct?" Blake started off.

"Of course we are. They are always human first. Their 21st birthday is when they get their wolf. The last Ruby we had was Jenaviv and that was hundreds of years ago." The man known as Kansto said. "What do you take us as? Fools." He snickered.

The rest of the council seemed to be silent. Only allowing Kansto to speak. He seemed the leader. Powerful. But no where near as powerful as Blake.

"Well then, maybe you meet the new Ruby." Blake said gesturing to me.

"What!? Impossible!? The Ruby wolf is never premated to another! She is always allowed to choose a mate."

"We have never known if that was the truth or not. The last Ruby mated with an Alpha was Jenaviv. We have so much but so little information about them. The first Ruby went crazy after her mate died. Killing hundreds. We never knew the power she held. Her death was filled will hundreds of questions. Jenaviv was the last. She helped us understand more about the life of a ruby. But there was only so much she could teach us before her disappearance. If she is still alive and we were able to locate her then we would have more answers. But know one has much information about them. If what you say is true Alpha Blake, then our Luna is in more trouble than ever. Damien knight has never been able to find a powerful mate. He has killed every one he has had. If he finds her and forces her to mate with him. Then all hell will break loose." One of the council men spoke.

"All hell has already broke loose, Alaric. Damien knight is mates to our luna. He doesnt know yet. I hope. Her vision of him being her mate was clear. But the lies it held were large. But one thing is certain. If Luna Ariel becomes a vampire she will be highly dangerous. Kameran knight and I have already spoke. We will be going to their estate. So that Ariel can formally reject Damien as a mate. We have already began the mating process. Our Luna has already chosen who she will be with for the rest of her life. If Damien tries to turn her. He will be declaring war on the entire werewolf kingdom. Whether any of you accept it. I am the rightful King. It is still in my blood and every pack knows and respects it. Now whether he is aware of her existence or not. If he finds out she is the next Ruby. We will be in for a hell of a fight. Everyone needs to be ready for it. You know as well as I that the Ruby wolf is the most powerful of us all. No matter, what every pack will fight for her safety and you all know it. My parents, those traitors are not to find out. Because they will go to him to regain his favor. For whatever they did." Blake said his voice was loud and held so much power it made everyone shudder. Including me.

"If what you say is true, then maybe it is time we declared you the king." Alaric said. "You would be able to better protect your mate and the werewolf kingdom."

"Outrageous!" Kansto boomed.

"I understand your hesitation, brother. But Blake has always shown us that we can trust him. Look what he did to his own parents for what they did to their pack and family." Alaric said.

Everyone remain silent for a while before Alaric stood and tapped on the table. "We will have a vote. All in favor of reinstating the original ways and making Alpha Blake our true Alpha King. Raise your hand."

More than half of the table raised their hands.

"Everyone opposed."

The rest raised their hands. Including Kansto.

"It is done. In a weeks time we will be having the Alpha King ceremony. His mate will be by his side and accept her rule as the Luna Queen."

"He will abuse the power. Just as his great grandfather!" Kansto growled.

"Alpha Blake has never shown us that we can not trust him."

"He has never had the ability! Until now! He's using The Vampire King against us to gain what he wants."

"We all know Damien is dangerous and powerful. He has always proven he will do anything to get what he wants. Alpha Blake needs the power of being the Alpha King to stand against him. Whether you agree with it or not. I don't believe he used this situation to gain the power. He never asked for it. He only told you that if you didnt actually need him like you say, then to stop coming to him when you need final say in everything."

Kansto sat silent. Seeming to be unable to speak anything more.

"Now back to talking about your mate." Alaric said. "The only way for us to know for sure that she is the ruby wolf is if you mate and she doesn't turn."

"We have mated. She bares my mark and is still human." Blake said. Annoyance in his tone from already saying we mated.

"Well, she will need a lot of training. We have to begin as soon as possible. We will not know the-" Kansto started to say but with one look from Blake he silenced.

"We already know everything that needs to be done. Ariel has yet to be fully told about her new life. What to fully expect. On top of that we will not be able to do anything with her still in school and Damien on the hunt for her. The school issue will be handled. The Damien issue is still under way. We have a lot to do. So I will let all of you in the council get settled. Get all of the information and teachings for Ariel prepared. I will leave Alaric in control of everything. Now none of what has been said will leave this room. If one word reaches another i will know and I will punish the one accountable to the fullest extent in front of every pack. Now the meeting is over. In a few days Ariel and I with a few others will be going to Alaska. We have to get everything taken care of before we can start any type of training." Blake's words rang out around the room.

Everyone nodded in agreement but otherwise stayed silent.

When Blake stood everyone else stood as well. He took my hand and led me out of the room.
