The Luna's Hidden Destiny

I led my goddess toward the garage..I can’t lie..I feel beyond protective of my mate and the idea of her doing anything remotely dangerous puts me on edge. But seeing her face right now and how brightly her emerald eyes are glowing with excitement it makes it hard to say no.

Looking back, I spotted John and Dan close behind. I quickly linked them to wait for a few minutes as I couldn’t help but grab Mila by the hand and pull her flush against my chest. The seductive sound of her gasp swirled around me as I bent down, crushing my lips to hers. My fingers instantly tangled into her thick chocolate brown locks as our mouths fused together with such a deep hunger that only she could sate.

My tongue slipped between her sweet lips as I tasted and explored every crevice of her mouth…and f**k was she delicious.

A low deep possessive growl rumbled from deep within me, causing her to mewl as I swallowed every sound with pure desperation.

I reluctantly pulled away from my mate as I firmly grasped her hand in my own once again.

“Come on, let’s go for a ride.” I said deeply, smiling mischievously at my Mila as she let out the sweetest giggle, causing my stomach to flip.

We reached my red Kawasaki motorcycle and I walked over towards the office where we keep all of the vehicle keys and helmets. I grabbed my bike keys and my helmet then a black helmet for my Goddess before walking back toward the bike where Mila waited. Her eyes were gleaming with excitement as she looked up at me. I couldn’t help but place a sweet tender k**s on her lips as I adjust the helmet onto her head.

“There, all safe.” I smiled, kissing the tip of her nose as I pulled on my own helmet next.

I placed my hands on Mila’s waist, lifting her up easily as she let out a small yelp and I placed her on the back of the bike before sliding in front of her.

Before I could even tell her what to do, she quickly wrapped her arms around my waist and cuddled into my back. Her cheek rested again me and I couldn’t help but chuckle. F**k I wish I could see how cute she is right now.

“Okay, ready baby?” I asked over my shoulder, feeling her nod against me as she clung onto me tighter than ever.

Turning the key, the motorcycle came to life, the loud noise making Mila jump as I stifled another laugh. Why the hell was she so innocent and adorable.

I let the bike warm up a little before kicking the kickstand back and slowly gave it some gas making the bike roll forward.

‘Follow at a distance.’

I linked John and Dan who both gave me a ‘Yes, Alpha’ in response, and then we were off. I pulled back the gas, making the bike roar with excitement as we took off out of the driveway. The cool spring air filled my lungs as I inhaled deeply. Suddenly I saw Sadie’s wolf Savanah and Tristan’s wolf Hadeon out of the corner of my eye at the edge of the woods.

I couldn’t help but smirk as they began following us through the woods, keeping hidden to give us our space but also there to protect my mate.

We drove through the town, watching as a few pack members bustled about and finally reached the gates to our territory.

‘There’s somewhere I want to show you, baby.’

I linked to Mila, feeling her place a soft k**s against my back as her hands tightened around me even more.

‘Thank you, for doing this.’

Her voice was full of complete bliss as my heart swelled. I would do absolutely anything for this girl..anything.

Our warriors at the front gate nodded towards us as they bowed their heads with respect. John and Dan followed behind in the black SUV and then I cranked the throttle, showing Mila just how fast we could go. She let out a giggle, her excitement coursing through our bond as I loved the feel of my mate this close to me as I drove us down the winding road.

Black Stone was in the middle of the woods high up in the hills and miles away from any other civilization. We were pretty well hidden and those that ventured out here were usually humans looking for camping or hunting spots. But we have our military post to deter all those who try to trespass.

There was a special place I wanted to take Mila that Blake, Tristan, and I discovered once on our patrols as teens. I would come out here just to think sometimes, wondering where my life was going. Now I want to take Mila here, it always felt special to me, making me feel more connected to the earth and our heritage.

We sped down the tree-lined road and I could feel Savanah and Tristan not too far off. The fact that they came together on their own was a pleasant surprise. I guess she really is giving him a chance and I can’t wait to see how she flips Tristan’s world even more.

‘The place I want to show you is just up here.’

I linked to Mila and then pulled down a dirt road.

I knew we couldn’t take the bike the whole way, but I thought we could let our wolves out while we are here.

I told our warriors to park here and patrol the surrounding area. I know with the recent threat from rogues I am not taking any chances.

I turned the bike off, placing the kickstand out, and swung my leg over the bike, hopping off. I quickly helped Mila and pulled her helmet off as I was met with the biggest smile.

“That was great baby!” She beamed, throwing herself at me as she hugged me tightly. Then she gently lifted herself up on her toes prompting me to bend down and gave her a k**s.

‘Wait until you see this. Let’s shift, it’s a little bit of a hike.’

I pulled back, feeling Bain becoming antsy as I too couldn’t keep my eyes off my mate. I watched as Mila pulled off her shirt and quickly undid her pants. Her eyes not leaving mine once as she stripped naked before me. F**k me was she tempting..but I had a plan for her..I wouldn’t take her just yet.

I quickly stripped out of my own clothes and before I could react Bain took over and shifted us. Mila couldn’t help but smile as she walked over towards us, dragging her fingers through our fur as Bain practically purred.

“My handsome mate.” Mila cooed, making Bain stand and tower above her. His tongue slipped out, lapping at her neck as she giggled profusely.

In a matter of seconds, Calypso was now standing before us and those emerald eyes pierced through us. I could feel her playful aura as she took off running, making Bain follow right after. We let our wolves run and mate before I showed Mila this special place I knew she would just love.

Bain followed the familiar scent, weaving through the trees and over rocks and logs until we were finally at the spot. Looking ahead, the bright moon came into view, lighting up a beautiful lake that feels like it has been here since the beginning of time.

‘It’s beautiful.’

Mila gasped into the link, Calypso’s eyes wide and full of wonder as she looked out onto the lake. It was almost as if the night sky itself filled the water with thousands of stars. The reflection of the night was so breathtaking I had almost forgotten how incredible this place was.

I quickly shifted back, watching as Mila did the same. I walked over, taking her hand as her eyes wouldn’t leave the lake.

“Let’s go for a swim.” I whispered against her ear, causing a shiver to tremble through her as she nodded her head softly.

I walked forward, leading her behind me as our bare feet padded across the smooth black stones that lines the lake. There is something about this place that seems so ethereal and otherworldly. Just a feeling like something amazing might of happened here once long ago. There are places throughout the world where werewolves feel a special connection with. Like the moon goddess has blessed this land, or gifted it just for us as a way to remind us of her presence. I don’t need those reminders though because I have living proof right next to me that the moon goddess is more than here and with us.

We reached the edge of the lake, the water lapping at the ground as the cool night air brushed against our naked bodies. It was mid-spring now and the weather just started to warm. But being werewolves the weather didn’t affect us as much as humans.

I watched as Mila let go of my hand and stepped into the lake, causing a gasp to escape me. The water began to glow from her touch, letting off a blue luminescent light to ripple off of her.

I blinked my eyes, wondering if what I was seeing was true as the image of my beautiful goddess burned into me. Her back was still facing me as she looked over her shoulder. Her green eyes seemed to be glowing as her long hair cascaded down her back. I will never forget this sight..not for as long as I live.

I stepped forward, the water now rippling off of me as Mila turned around completely, gracing me with all of her beautiful curves. I felt my c**k twitch, my want for her clearly showing as I stepped further into the water, needing her in every damn way possible.

Mila was up to her chest now and me my waist as I reached forward, grabbing my mate and picking her up as she wrapped her arms and legs around me.

“I love you..more than anything in this world.” I whispered before pressing my lips against hers. The water around us let off that blue glow as it swirled around us under the star-filled night.

“Nothing can take me away from you..even death. I would find a way to bring myself back, to be with you again.” I meant every word..I would never leave Mila alone in this world..never.

“I love you so much.” She gasped, her warm breath fanning against me.

“Also..did the water always glow like that when you came here?” She whispered causing me to laugh as I looked out on the lake, which had now settled and was reflecting the night sky once more.

“That was a first for me too.” I smiled against my Mila, knowing the reason it glowed had to do with her..I don’t know if it was a gift from the goddess herself, or just from who Mila is..but this lake certainly is special..something amazing happened here, that’s for sure.
