“I guess that lake did glow for a reason.” I chuckled, making his eyes snap to mine.

“F**k..that’s when it happened?” He asked with surprise filling his voice, I just nodded my head, remembering what the moon goddess said and how she told me I was pregnant with our pup.

“I found out after Sadie and I came for you..when I learned who I was. The moon goddess hinted at it, but I didn’t want to say anything until I knew for sure..Just in case.” I mumbled, feeling guilty for keeping him in the dark for so long.

“I understand baby. I can’t lie..I was pretty shocked, but now, the idea makes me so f*****g happy.” He sounded so calm and reassuring, making me let out a breath I hadn’t even realized I was holding.

“I just realized she would be a mini you and there is no way I would let her leave this house ever..she will be too beautiful.” He frowned, making me laugh as relief flooded through me.

“I’m sure she will be beautiful but she will also be safe here baby, we will all protect her..well if our pup is a girl..if it is a boy, then goddess help us..I know how much of a trouble maker you were.” I narrowed my eyes at him, making him gasp as he acted extremely offended.

“I was not a troublemaker..I was determined..if I saw something I wanted, I went for it.” He smiled cheesily, making me bop him on the shoulder as I was glaring now.

“Yeah, yeah, Blake told me all about your escapades..” I pouted before crossing my arms and turning my head.

“Baby, I wasn’t even talking about that..” He tried to recover where this conversation has gone.

“Besides, if we have a son first, he will be able to help protect his future sisters or brothers.” He said nonchalantly, making me almost choke on the gulp of air I just inhaled.

“Sisters and brothers?! How many pups are we having?” I asked startled, wondering how this man had flipped so easily. He went to wanting to wait to now planning a whole damn litter!

“At least four..maybe two of each would be great.” He smirked mischievously, making me blink rapidly as he suddenly let out a loud laugh and pounced on me. His mouth glided across my chest as he left little bites and nips along the way.

“I like seeing you stunned..doesn’t four sound perfect though baby?” He asked while keeping his gaze on me as his mouth continued to go to work.

I just nodded my head and swallowed hard, trying to form the words to speak. How could this man continue to make me speechless even after all of this time? Four pups..I never even thought that far ahead..I knew I wanted pups but I didn’t think of a number necessarily.

I guess two of each does sound pretty perfect..but we have a long time to make that happen. Right now all I know is that no matter what..I just want a healthy happy pup, that’s all that matters to me.

“I can’t wait for you to get here, but for now you stay in there and keep growing big and strong little one..daddy loves you.” Rowan’s words tickled against my skin as I couldn’t hide the huge smile that filled my face.

“Well baby, you think it’s time to share the news?” I asked before brushing my fingers across Rowan’s forehead as I moved aside his shaggy hair.

“I guess..but if my mom tries to throw an impromptu party..I’m out..” Rowan grumbled, causing me to laugh as I nodded my head.

“Okay, deal..let’s just hope she doesn’t faint either..” I added with a laugh..I know for a fact that Laura is going to freak..I guess this is really happening..I’m really pregnant and Rowan and I are going to have our first pup in five months..wow how much more blessed could I be?
