The Luna's Hidden Destiny

The Luna’s Hidden Destiny – Chapter 41

(Mila)

I dreamt of my dad, the man that I cherished and loved since my first memory. How could he do this to me? Did I make a mistake? Was this all too much and he freaked out? That man in those woods..he wasn’t the father I remembered. Something about him..something about the way he looked at me, the way he spoke. He wasn’t my father, this man was something much more sinister. Was it always like this and I had lived with it or had he finally shown me his true self? My heart ached, that pain of losing a father..losing the only family I had ever known. He threatened my mate..he wanted to kill him..now anger filled me. How dare he threaten my mate..my Rowan. The man who was my everything..that right there was enough to turn my back on him. He might always be my father but I refused to let him back into my life.

My eyes fluttered open, the scent of my mate filling me as my body began to relax.

“Rowan?” I whispered, the room dark as I felt his warmth wrapped around me. His head rested on my stomach as I looked down. I couldn’t help but smile, seeing him holding me tightly. His legs were tangled in mine and his brow furrowed, as if worry were etched on his face.

I slowly slid my fingers into his thick silver hair, his eyes instantly snapped open as he looked up at me.

“Mila.” He breathed out, his body rising and now hovering over me.

“Did I oversleep?” I asked quietly, causing a beautiful laugh to fall from his lips. He quickly bent down, taking my mouth with his. His fingers tangled in my hair as he held me tenderly.

“F**k I missed you.” He choked out, his mouth connected to mine as he claimed me with his tongue. His slow gentle movements tasted and caressed me as I let out a soft m**n.

“I’m here, I’m not going anywhere.” I breathed out, his hands now wandering my body. Feeling and gliding against every inch of me. His mouth deepened the k**s as he breathed in each sound that left me. That fire ignited inside of me, causing the heat to settle between my legs.

“You need to eat.” He muttered sternly as he quickly pulled away, looking down at me. I frowned, the lack of contact making me sad. I lifted my arms, wrapping them around his neck as I gazed up at him.

“Thank you, for going with me and being there for me..I’m sorry..” I began, feeling guilty for the way my dad behaved.

“Hey stop, it’s okay..everything is okay, we will figure this out together.” His words made my eyes flutter closed, knowing I have someone to go through all this with making everything so much better.

“Let’s get some food in you.” He whispered while leaning into me, his lips grazing mine as he kissed me sweetly.

I nodded my head, my hands feeling his smooth toned back as he rolled off of me, lifting me with him as he stood.

“Rowan, you don’t have to carry me everywhere.” I laughed, my arms wrapping around his neck as he cradled me in his arms.

“You would never walk again if it were up to me. Well..you would never leave this bed again if it were up to me.” He smirked, smiling down at me as I gasped.

“Is that why you love me?” I teased him and he smiled wider, causing me to frown.

He laughed, kissing me on the lips quickly as he spoke.

“Let’s just say it doesn’t hurt..and makes you very…very..loveable.” He sat me on the couch, pulling me up in his lap as he slid a tray of food closer to us. The smell caused my mouth to water as I finally realized how hungry I truly was.

“Mhmm I’m sure it does.” I quipped.

He bent down, biting my shoulder playfully as I yelped.

“Blame the moon goddess for making you the most irresistible woman in the world.” He added while lifting the lid off of the tray and revealing two plates of pasta with white sauce and chicken on top. It look absolutely delicious.

I scoffed, looking at him as he raised his eyebrow. I went to reach for a fork and he stopped me midway.

“You don’t believe me?” He asked seriously and I looked up at him, blinking in confusion.

“No…I believe you. But I know the mating bond makes you feel that way too.” I said studying him.

“It’s not just the bond Mila..you don’t understand the effect you have on people..something about you. You truly are incredible.” He reached his hand up, brushing his fingers against my cheek as he leaned forward. I felt Calypso wag her tail in approval.

His lips pressed against mine as he deepened it, our tongues slipping out and grazing against each other.

“Okay..eat now..” he smiled and pulled back, quickly grabbing a fork.

“You started it.” I muttered, narrowing my eyes at him. He reached down and grabbed a bite of pasta, slowly bringing it up to my lips as he fed me quickly.

I took a bite and couldn’t help the m**n that left me. Rowan’s eyes flashed, his gaze staring into mine as he watched me eating very intently.

“Baby, I’m trying to be good and you are making it very very hard..” his voice was low and rough.

“How hard?” I said with a raised eyebrow.

That did it..he quickly set the fork down and leaned me back onto the couch. His hands gripped my wrists as he held my arms above my head.

“You tell me.” He said, thrusting his h**s above me as I felt his hard length grinding against my stomach.

“I thought I was supposed to eat.” I gasped, my h**s rising as I met his movements hungrily.

“Food can wait.” He growled, bending down as he grazed my lips with his tongue. His c**k was now at my entrance as he pushed inside of me.

The food most certainly could wait..
