The Last Royal Luna

(Book 2) – Chapter 20

We sent the three vampires down to the clinic to get some b***d that was donated for them so they would be leaving fully charged. I finally found out their names which are Peter, Trixie, and Robert. They were all over a hundred years old but only looked about thirty. I was kind of jealous that they never really aged or changed but probably only because they were beautiful before being bitten.

We had decided to head to the training grounds while we waited for the witches to arrive. They were arriving a little later because they realized that the shields they had protecting where they lived we’re a little low on juice so they had stopped for the witches to do some enchantments and spells. I really wanted to take on alpha Rodger in a fight and he accepted but reluctantly did so. He wanted to promise that he wouldn’t shift but I told him that was half the fun. Knowing if you were stronger and just human form or in both human and shifted form. I did make sure to promise that I wouldn’t be using any of my Powers so he didn’t need to watch out for nature, there would be no bleeding from my b***d power and so forth. He left out a big breath of air and said thank you. I think he was nervous that I might bleed him dry or have some grass or trees hold them down so I can just continuously punch him but I don’t cheat like that. My mate started yelling for me and going crazy which definitely hyped me up. Now I was nervous that Roger would hold back but once we got into the fighting circle he gave this manic smile like if you were looking at a serial killer who knew they had prey waiting for them. It was a little unnerving but I definitely wasn’t going to show that. I gave him the same smile back before getting into a fighting stance with one fist covering my face and my dominant foot forward

The witches were in two cars behind Alistair and Melissa. I could feel the air shift and have more magic in it. It made it smell stronger and feel heavier on your skin. Asher, Andrew, and Trevor ran to meet them and bring them to the fields. Roger and I started lightly hitting waiting to find a weakness. He had gotten a good jab into my side when he stopped in his tracks and started sniffing. I thought he was faking it so I took my opening and took him down to the mat. He growled before looking toward the side and when I looked over I saw the witches joining my mates.

You could tell all of them were powerful but once the leader stepped out I was able narrow in on who she was by the magic shimmering around her. I was in awe. I hadn’t ever seen magic before just the results from a spell or hex that was the result of magic used. The women beside the leader gasped while I stood and Roger ran over to her in a trance.
