The Hybrid Rogue

My Father has kept this damn treaty with the Crimson pack since I can remember. This is my third time here to meet with Alpha Dekan, his Betta Theo, and his son Colson, who is supposed to be taking over soon. Every few years we just go over it and tweak things if there's concern. This time we have a common issue, I feel we will add to it. Vampires. This damn clan is trying to take our territories thinking we will just let them claim their land over ours. To hell with that!

"I'm planning to ask about going to war with this clan together. Your thoughts?" I ask my Betta, Jaxon.

"Damn, Ry. You really think he wouldn't agree to a war. Teaming up with this pack is our only chance to get rid of those damn blood suckers once and for all! We all can't stand them, might as well go for it. Plus, Alpha Dekan loves wars. He's got the territory to prove it! I just dont think his son is up for it. This Colson is an ass, but just does what his father tells him. Should ask though." Jaxon is right. That kid ain't ready. He's only 17. Still a pup. Having a pup lead is ballsy to say the least.

"Well, Jax, play it by ear?" Of course.

We get to the pack house if Crimson and open the doors. Something hits me. A smell. Its woodsy, metallic like blood, with a hint of lavender? This is strong and enticing too, but it's coming from inside. Something tells me tonight is about to get interesting.

The pack house is quiet. No one except a of couple guards to allow us in and some people we hear in the kitchen. I go to knock on the office door, but stop. The scent is so much stronger than ever. Whatever it is from is beyond this door, or well who ever. This is my mate. Why does the smell of this mixture make my mind crazy? Jaxon then pushes me out of the way and knocks.

"He's just another Alpha man." He doesn't have the same effect from this scent. I'm the oldest alpha to not have a Luna yet, I now realize this is about to change. Behind this door is my mate. My wolf is going crazy and being impatient. I wonder if she is having the same effect to her.

The door opens showing fuckinh Theo. God, this fucker. He's a cocky Betta. His mate ain't bad looking, but she plays the stepford wife type. Stays at home with the pups while the husband does it all. My luna will do more than that. Hell, Jax's mate at least is a teacher. Should have beat the crap out of Theo before he became Betta while I had that chance. He came on behalf of the Alpha to search for that missing kid of his. They never found her. Probably ran away to get the hell far from the crazy shit they did, whatever it was.

"Alpha Ryanne, please come in" Betta dipshit says.

Jax and I walk in. I see her. Right there standing behind the the Alpha. Theo goes and stands next to her. She doesn't look at me. She stares at Alpha Dekan, seeming to avoid the dipshit as well. Hey, maybe we both would like to see his ass kicked!

"My son had matters in the northern territory. This is my daughter, Azula, she just came home yesterday after 4 years. Another story there I still need information on myself. Anyways, she is standing in for him since we would still like to convince her to be the third and in command of the army for Colson." So this is the missing kid. Shes no kid anymore and shes my mate. I need her to look at me to get the bond started to affirm it, but she won't.

"Alpha Ryanne would like to keep everything the same. There has been no issues and we've worked well with everything since our last meeting. We would though like to discuss being allies for a war." Jax speaks for me seeing I keep my eyes on Azula trying to figure what's going on with me but knowing we need to get to business with Dekan or he would get impatient.

"If you say that damn clan, no need to ask. We will. They keep threatening me and trying to make advances. War has started on the outskirts already in our desert, to be honest. How a fucking vampire stays in the desert I have no fucking clue." Dekan is always eager for a war and smirks.

"Any idea as to why they want war?" I finally speak but keep watch on Azula. I'm determined not to miss her glance to get the bond.

"Well, Azula here actually. Henry wants her for himself. Obviously, she just got here and he had no clue she wasn't even here to begin with. He's a complete idiot for that, but has the numbers in his clan. So, I hope to allow Azula to show him why you don't fuck with us." Damn, he got me turned on to his own daughter with that last line. So shes a fighter. She is rogue at the moment though so he would need to get her as apart of the pack to allow this to happen.

"You want me to fight a war for you? What the fuck? That wasn't the deal!" So she can speak, even if it was still at her father. And she is my type of woman. Fowl mouth, oh the things that mouth can probably do other than talk.

"He wants you. Why the hell not show him and anyone else who has the balls to try to to put a claim on you. You want your so called freedom land, this is the Alpha who can get you and your friends there, but if his lands get taken over what makes that rogue land safe from Henry as well? He will go straight there and fuck things up." Damn, guilt tripping his own child. He has a point. But she isn't going to be a rogue ever again. If she would only fucking look! I'm growing impatient.

"Fine, but the guys get to fight as well and everyone listens to me. What do you want, the entire clan gone, Henry dead, just put them in line? Details are needed. This is what I do." Fuck she really is the Luna I need.

"Azula, look at me, damnit!" My wolf got control and I went and used my Alpha voice in front of another Alpha. Thankfully. he realized it wasn't directed at him, but I didnt have time to notice he realized this. All eyes in the room were on her now. And she looked into mine.

'Mate!' my wolf declares. I was right. But now the new question finally hits me. Why the blood smell? The bond has been made.
