The Hybrid Rogue

I was thankful to remember exactly everything Anca had written of this spell. It was not going to be easy. I was able to do multiple at once it claimed, so I would be able to do both punishments at once. A mixture of some liquids and a quick incantation, both were in circles of fire.

After I was focused, thats when everything went black. I am not even sure where I was. I tried to call out, nothing. I curled myself into the fetal position. Feeling weak, tired, and scared like never before. Where was this place, what happened, and why did I think that spell would work.

"Don't worry. You weren't strong on your own to do this spell just yet. You would have killed them and started a war with Tank. I took over for you." The slightly familiar voice sounded.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"In dear time, I will reveal myself to you. Thd spell is done. Everyone present went into a deep sleep. You can wake now and they will do that as well. Wake, my little one." Said the soft voice as the surroundings of me came back and into focus.

The fire was gone and both the betta and Luna were just piles on the ground. I turned and saw the others as well all piled on the ground asleep. They started to rise.

"Ce naiba s-a întâmplat?" Vlad said angrily. (What the hell happened)

"Its done." Is all I could say. I wasn't sure this was something I wanted everyone to know, not yet.

"You still want the Luna changed?" Lycious asked me.

"Yes, it will be a curse to her for the choices she has made. A new appreciation." I stood tall.

"Az, we would need the weakest, of age, clan member to change her." Vlad looked at me and the clan's leader walked forward.

"Jazzlyn, come forward." A small petite, child like young woman stepped forward. She was weak, it was true. I could see she was taken care of though well by the clan, protected. It made me smile.

"Do you know how to do this? You can not make any mistakes child. If you need, I can stay to help walk you through it, but understand this is sacred and usually you can not have anyone else within a perimeter to do this correctly without killing her." Vlad said to the tiny woman.

"I do not know, my lord. I do know though of the sacredness. Isn't it risky to have you there?" She had a tiny voice to match. It showed sweet and kindness with a bit of anxiety to the way she spoke.

"Don't worry little one, I am the exception to the rule. Please, everyone, head home. This won't take long and the change will be full by the time she awakes tomorrow night, I assure you." He told the rest of us. I followed Tank back to the pack house. He looked as out of place as he probably felt.

"I'm sorry, Tank." I finally had the courage to say.

"Thank you, if this would have gone on longer, both the pack and the clan would have eventually have been eradicated. We both know that my father created the pack to work with the clan after inviting them to share the territory, but what only a select few know is that my mother was the daughter of the clan leader. Same one of today. My father wanted to help her, keep her happy and let her have her family near her. He didn't want his mate to reject him. She was amazing. Eventually, some vamp hunters came into the territory thinking it was fair game to kill the vampires and my mother tried to stop them. I was only four, I only remember her smile and gentle touch she would have, and that day. My father had the warriors to the spot fast, but it was too late. My mother was shot. She was still alive, but barely. He had ordered for others to fetch me. I at least got to say goodbye to my mother. From that day, my father swore to work together forever with the clan. Its what my mother wanted. I swore the same thing and it is what drove me. When I met you, I knew one day having you as a friend would come in handy. A clanless vampire had killed Maya's family, she blamed them all. I wish I would have seen this sooner. Thank you. Whatever you need, our pack is forever in your debt and at your beckon." Tank hugged me tightly.

"Just help with keeping the peace among the different supernaturals. The angels have started this war, I plan to finish it. If something were to happen, I want you to help finish out the mission of uniting all supernatural to make peace among all of us. Would you agree?" I looked at the window instead of him, I couldn't think of the what if possibilities, but I had to do what I must to help even if I wasn't around anymore.

"I would be honored to push the unity. I, Alpha Tank, recognize you as Azula, Queen of all kingdoms and you have my undying gratitude." He looked me right in my eyes and I could feel a new connection of mind link be created between us. I have never had this feeling before.

"We are now linked. Tank, thank you. I will keep you updated. I am very tired, I need my sleep for the night." We both headed to rooms to get our sleep.
