"Well, that was quick. So, guess I call Lycious first instead of Dracula. Dracula doesn't know I plan to call him. If I keep Lycious waiting, it might not end in my favor." I say out loud to no one in particular.
"Nick, why don't you go work on that bike in the garage. Lycious would only allow me since I am her mate to be around for this call. You aren't even a wolf." Ryanne picks me up and sits in his chair, then puts me in his lap. "Are you ready?"
I nod and dial the number.
"Hello, Azula. I've actually been waiting for when you would contact me. Good job with taking out Henry. I was able to poison him to make him weaker. That's how he was aging as he was. I am glad to finally speak to you. My great great great grandchild. Yes, you assume right about the relations. I have been keeping tabs on all of my kin." Lycious speaks without even allowing me a chance to speak. "I think it is time for a family reunion. If you grabbed the files from Henry, you must have contact info for my dear brother. Let's do a three way call and put us on speaker. Include your mate, Alpha Ryan, on this call."
"Yes, sir." I say while Ryanne switches the phone to the speaker on his desk for me and dials the number on the other paper. It rings.
"Hello?" A voice with a thick Romanian accent answers. "Where did you get this number? Only Henry had this."
"I am Azula." I declare and Lycious stays silent still.
"Ah, makes sense then. So, if you are calling instead of him, is he gone?" He actually sounded saddened.
"Yes, brother. He is gone. Azula, here, saw to it herself. He was abusing his power granted to him and she did what even you would have done to him. He was planning to over throw you at your position using his grandchild and her son. I knew this from a spy I had watching over him. She did the world, and you, a favor." Lycious spoke.
"Well, aren't we one cozy family? Doing eachother favors, now?" Dracula says.
"Oh, Vladdy! You know we have to watch out for eachother in the long run. Now, do you understand who Azula is? She's kin. Not just to you, but to me and Anca. I kind of lost Caterina's line a bit over the years so I haven't confirmed her yet. Not that a human would matter in this situation. Azula is a first not just by blood, but because she holds all our abilities and those of our mates." Lycious was smirking in his voice.
"First, never call me that or we may end up in war again. Second, why do I care?" Dracula was being serious in his tone.
"Well, I need your help. I contacted both of you because I need to go to your family home. Except no one knows where it was. Anca instructed me to go there to get a chest she has it so only I can get it. It contains many secrets and information we could probably all use." I hope at least it does.
"Hmmm. Well now, this is interesting. How about this. You and my brother here, meets me in Romania and we go together. Make it a family reunion. Only, I have a request. No information from this is to be used to hurt either of us and we discuss your place in this world as a first. I think I have an idea for you that benefits everyone." He said, sounding like he was in deep thought.
"Alpha Ryanne will escort his mate to my home and we can meet just outside of home, brother. Sound good to you?" Lycious knew that Ryanne wouldn't let me go there alone, but he wouldn't be safe around Dracula. "I will have a flight set up for you an there information sent."
"Seems fair enough. Just the three of us though at the sight. No mates." That seemed fair as well seeing as they want their home still a secret.
"Deal." Both Lycious and I said. There was a click and Dracula had hung up.
"I feel like that was too easy. Be prepared if this is a trap, but I feel like he would be smarter than to cross Anca and her magic she has on our home. It's the only place our powers can't be used against eachother, thanks to her. Still, be prepared for anything. I am not sure how he will act. I think Crimson should go into lockdown while you are away to protect that child as well. My brother is a lunatic. Hell, I am as well, but at least I admit it." He says then says his goodbye.
"Damn, that was intense feeling. The Firsts. Well, my Luna, what do you say. Call your brother now. I will go find Jaxon and let him know we will be out of the country for awhilw." Ryanne says as he gets out from under me and leaves the room.
"Hey, Az! How's Cali treating you?" Colson answers after the first ring.
"Very progressive. Listen, I called for business. I have an order to pass to you." I warn him because I know I will have to warn him of the seriousness of the situation.
"Okay, pass it." He says in a serious tone back, wondering what is going on.
"On behalf of Lycious, The first Lycan, Crimson Stone Pack is to be on Complete Lockdown until further notice." I say as formal as possible.
"Fuck! Pete!" He tells then gives Pete some orders before going back to the phone. "How the hell and why?"
"We are his kin, Col. Koray is his kin and Dracula's. Protect him and the pack. Dracula knows who I am and about Koray. It would only be a matter of time he would put two and two together. Be prepared for anything. I am going to Romania. Be in lockdown until I come back." I hope that suffices because he will be a worry wart.
"Okay, so you found the house?" He asks.
"Not exactly. I am going to meet with Lycious with Ryanne. Then Lycious and I will go to the home together and meet Dracula there. He wants to protect the packs while we are there and distracted. I hope his feelings are wrong, but Colson. Even any of Lycious's men, don't let them on the land just yet. Say it is order of a first if you must. I will deal with any backlash. We can not trust anyone right now until we meet them. If you must, have Pete and Zoe take Koray to another pack house as well. Maybe Las Vegas. No one will try anything there." I start thinking about how Ryanne can be used against me as well while there as well and wonder if him coming is even a good idea, but it would hurt our wolves not to. Well, time to strategize.
