SWNOVELS Chapter Myth or Legend?
"Wait, Greek Gods? So, is all religion basically related into one?" I am baffled.
"Yeah, but Zues is Michael in the Christian religion. He took over Heaven for the real God. Some of the things are right, but some are absolutely myths. The Titans for example, not real, but the name the original God went by was Kronos. There are some truths to myths. Kronos just got bored with Earth from what I was told and moved on. Michael's own daughter married Lycious and deceived his wishes. My wife was Hades's daughter. Now they have plenty of children so they dont actually care about them for the most part, but when they marry some who 'belongs' to another god or disowned by one, they take notice. Hades only showed up once in a blue moon but refused to stay in a room with my presence for more than a minute. Michael on the other hand, he had more issues about the arrangement his daughter choose. Eventually, Michael and Hades had to make a truth for a war that they had going on. They forced eachother to kill their daughters, our wives. We couldn't do anything, they just dropped dead. That was also the last time I ever saw Hades and he only told me it had to be done. He left and hasn't been around since. Luce had it much harder though." The man was just looking at the road behind us as we drove past an old farm.
"Michael forbade any fallen angel to have relations with any of the angels or to come back to heaven, right?" I was putting all the information together.
"Yup. Which, then they started having issues themselves. The fallen angels were able to keep having children and bloodlines. They also could live forever. The angels themselves still needed to reproduce from angels falling or being killed. When Angels or demons die, they just cease to exist. Their souls just vanish. They needed new numbers, so for awhile now, they allowed Archangels only to have children with Nephlems. The Children are given a choice to stay on earth or go to Heaven and serve with the angels. Some, though, were never given the choice for acting like pure Nephlems." His words had me think of Nick. Maybe, he never was asked or he was and refused. I made note to at least think about asking him at some point, if we all make it out of this.
"Where did they take Ryanne? How do I get him back? Our lives together have barely even begun." I ask.
"They will give him back eventually. They don't want to keep him up there. He's part Nephlem, so they probably have him with Michael. Michael is the only one allowed to grant anyone passage to and from Heaven. That became a thing with how many fallen there had become. He, also, won't kill his own grandson. Yeah, I know the lineage really well. I have too much time on my hands these days. Anyways, the best part, which may seem messed up to you, but human rules don't apply to angels, gods, and demons, Michael is also Nicholas's father. See messed up sounding, but technically angels and demons dont have to have relations like the rest of us, unless it is with a mortal. Basically, they just have to create a child through thought together and bam, child. So, Nicholas was made by Michael with his own daughter, my only guess was because he thought it would give him a son that would be raised for heaven. I do not know all the details. I will say this, from my knowledge, Michael had a meeting with my brother a few years back about the time you were born. I think Lycious was under some form of bewitching of Michael, when that all happened to you. My brother is a fucking idiot, but I didn't think he was that much of an asshole. Michael, now that's an asshole." He spoke like he knew his brother well, but was still unsure of his own thoughts. "I know you miss Ryanne. I miss my wife every day. Only difference is, your love will come back and mine is gone forever."
I really thought about his words and realized all I need to do is trust my hopes. All this information he has made me think about all the lineage, including Anca.
"You know who made Anca a witch." I declared without question.
"Yes. Michael and Lucifer have a brother in Christian form named Gabriel. In Greek Mythology, it is Poseidon. He actually, now, prefers to go by Jeff. You know that one thing that went around that Channing Tatum started in a movie? That 'My name's Jeff' thing. Well, he thought that was funny and had that added in. He is a jokester like Hermes and they even join in together on things. Jeff is the only Archangel that can go between all three places. You know, Heaven, Earth, and Hell. Well, he thought it would be great since Michael took away a lot of his creations in the past, to make Witches. After Apollo made me and Selene made Lycious, well he thought, why not grant someone with powers himself, but he was smart and went to both of his brothers for suggestions and guidelines so they wouldn't destroy his new creation. Hence, the mortal and all that. He, also, made them promise to leave them alone with using the main characteristics they requested as leverage. So, Michael can not just kill a witch because his request was them being mortal and Hades was that the creation had to have belief in themselves and of a greater creation to use their magic, which for Anca's bloodline, and chosen ones, they have to believe in themselves and know their power is from a greater being, but the others have to either serve Lucifer or God in some way. Most serve Lucifer, obviously." Dracula shrugged after explaining.
"What about your parents? Why the three of you as well?" I wondered out loud, not meaning to actually ask.
Dracula let out a sigh and looked to the side instead of at her. He didn't reply and just stopped talking. I quickly apologized and just looked the other way as well. We spent the next hour in complete silence. It gave me time to decide that next stop, I will ride inside with Lycious to get his side of things and hear him out. What happened to me can't be undone, best thing is to move forward. It's been a really long time since I let my past even bug me so much like it has since I came back to my family. It's time to put everything to rest. That includes performing the spell on Theo to remove his werewolf when I get back.
