The Heart Sees

Troy and I did mark each other on the last full moon and it felt wonderful. I feel so blessed to have Troy as a mate and he has been so patient through my nightmares and all of my struggles. I know that I couldn't have asked for a better mate.

It's been a couple of months since then and Troy and I still haven't completed the mating process or the luna ceremony... but I finally feel ready. After all of the love and support that I have gotten from Troy and the pack I know that I'm ready.

Liam and Terry ended up marking and mating each other on the full moon and they are the cutest couple. They have been having a gift war lately where they give each other a small gift every morning and a love note. They are so in love and it is amazing to watch. The pack was super supportive of them being chosen mates and it was amazing to see.

After the full moon, Troy also asked Liam and I if I would be okay with having Liam as a personal body guard. Both Liam and I agreed and it has been amazing spending extra time with my best friend.

As for Chase's pack... they buried him and had a small service before Terry's cousin Drax came to take over. Troy and Terry interviewed people and talked to the pack about it before they chose someone. It seems like Drax will be a great leader... although it isn't hard to beat Chase on that. Drax is also hoping to find a mate in the pack since he has had no luck finding one yet.

"Hi Lu" I heard Troy walk in as he placed a gentle kiss on my cheek. "How did your day go?" He asked as he wrapped his arms around my shoulders.

"Good.. I was doing a lot of thinking" I started and Troy raised an eyebrow at me. We had made ourselves comfortable in the alpha suite of the pack house and decided it would be the best place for us to stay.

"About what?" Troy asked.

"I'm ready" I blurted out.

"What do you mean?" Troy asked curiously.

"I'm ready to fully be your mate and luna" I blushed.

Troy's mouth fell open and he seemed very surprised. "Really? Are you sure?" He asked nervously.

"I'm sure. I finally feel like I'm in a better place now after everything... and the pack deserves a luna" I explained.

"Do you want to have the luna ceremony and the mating in the same day?" Troy asked and I blushed hard.

I nodded, "if that's okay with you?" I wasn't going to tell Troy but Liam and I had been secretly planning the luna ceremony for a couple weeks.

"Of course it is!" Troy said excitedly as he came and picked me up, twirling me around. "This is amazing news Lu, I couldn't be any happier to be yours completely" he said as he set me down and placed a few kisses on my neck. "When is the ceremony?" He asked in between kisses. "Wait hold on before you answer that" he said and I frowned.

Then he stepped back and took off his shirt, revealing his muscular chest. "What are you doing?" I squeaked.

"Just adding some incentive.... so when is the ceremony?" Troy asked again as he wrapped his arms around me.

"Tomorrow?" I asked.

"Tomorrow sounds perfect" he said before he kissed me. Then he broke away and frowned, "don't you need time to plan?"

"Ummm... Liam and I may have planned already... he just said to let him know when" I chuckled nervously.

"What a sneaky mate" Troy tisked as he started rapidly pressing kisses to my face and neck.

"Well this looks cozy... why is your shirt off?" Liam asked as Terry chuckled beside him.

"You know he isn't into guys Liam" I scolded.

"Someone is jealous" Terry shook his head and I shrugged.

"You know I only have eyes for you love" Troy said as he pulled me against his chest.

"So why do you look so happy?" Terry asked.

"Lu has decided she wants to have the luna ceremony and fully become my mate" Troy grinned happily.

"Congratulations! When is the ceremony?" Liam asked.

"Tomorrow" Troy chuckled.

"Tomorrow! Goddess! Come on Lu we have to go pick your dress" Liam said as he hurried over.

"Let me say goodbye first at least" I pouted and Liam rolled his eyes.

"Fine but if you're not out in 5 minutes I'll come in and drag you out" Liam threatened and I nodded.

"I thought you had everything prepared?" Troy asked.

"Everything except the dress and the flowers" I shrugged.

"Alright... well I won't keep you then. Although I don't think you need a dress to look beautiful" Troy said and I blushed.

"Thank you mate" I smiled and Troy hugged me.

"I'll see you for dinner in a bit?" Troy asked.

"Yes I should be back by then if Liam isn't too picky about the dress" I rolled my eyes and Troy chuckled. "I love you" I said as Lilac purred in my head.

"I love you too Lu" Troy replied as he kissed my nose. "Now go on and do whatever you have to do to get ready... I can't wait to make you the luna officially... just make sure the dress is easy for me to take off after" he winked.

I blushed, "ummm... okay sure" I said nervously.

"It was a joke Lu... although not really. If it's too tricky I mightjust have to get creative" Troy grinned.

"I'm excited too... your preview definitely helped" I chuckled.

"That was the plan" Troy said before Liam walked in.

"Time's up!" Liam said as he tapped his wrist.

"Bring her back in one piece yeah?" Troy said threateningly. I have noticed that he is extra protective since the mating process isn't fully completed.

"Don't worry I will" Liam said.

"Bye Lu. Be safe and call me if you need anything" Troy said as he handed me his credit card. "I know you don't like me giving you things but I want to spoil you every once and a while and the ceremony is the perfect chance to do it" he smiled innocently.

"Okay" I sighed. "Thank you" I said before Liam dragged me out of the room. "I love you!" I shouted.

"I love you too" Troy chuckled and gave a small wave as Liam laughed at us.

"You two are so cute together" Liam said and I smiled.
