The Good Girl's Revenge

Chapter 269

"It's all over. You can go now." Amelia slapped Derek. Although she knew that this might make the man take revenge on her, she still felt very happy.

The one who hurt her daughter and stole her grandson away was the man in front of her... She wished there was no Derek in this world!

Derek looked at Amelia's every expression, every movement, and he was eager to see what was wrong with her face.

But Amelia's performance didn't show anything wrong to him.

Her anger and her pain were real, just like a mother who lost her daughter.

In an instant, Derek's heart was empty. He had been holding on for so long because he didn't believe Meredith was gone.

He didn't believe that Meredith was dead. He didn't believe that she would leave the child she cared so much about to die.

He did not believe that she would not hate him, not hate the Xaviers, and die in that place.

"It's fake, isn't it?"

Derek muttered. The sequelae of days without rest and traveling abroad was now apparent. He staggered and fell to the ground.

Amelia looked at his awkwardness but sneered in her heart.

Her animosity and disgust were so openly displayed that there was no sense of restraint.

It was the man in front of her... who made her daughter suffer so much, and in the future, her daughter still had to suffer the separation of mother and son.

Did she have to be nice to this person?

Hehe...

"I don't believe... Impossible..." Derek's face was pale. He knew he was in a mess, but he couldn't control his fear.

If all this was true, what would he do?

If Meredith really wasn't in this world, he wouldn't even know who to make up for.

How could he stop like this?

Amelia looked at the man’s painful look, and for a moment, she wondered a lot. Why did he hurt her daughter so much but still acted as if he loved her so much deeply?

Then, Amelia thought of the wedding of the century, and her shaking thoughts disappeared completely.

Since he was a married man, what was the purpose of doing this kind of play now?

Could it be that he wanted to exterminate her daughter?

Amelia pushed the wheelchair closer to Derek. “I say I don't welcome you. Please leave!"

In Derek's mind, there were all kinds of messy sounds, which almost made him unable to think and his head was splitting.

Amelia's cold words made him struggle out of pain. He realized that he had no right to be decadent. His only hope was that the woman in front of him was lying.

He couldn't just leave like this...

Unless he saw Meredith's body with his own eyes.

Ignoring Amelia's hostility and attitude completely, Derek asked in a hoarse voice with his thin lips moving slightly.

"Where is she now?"

"What?"

"I want to see her if she was alive, if she was dead, I want to see her body!"

Derek's eyes were frighteningly red, faintly tinged with madness.

He was now cornered in a desperate way and would not give up until he gave up completely.

"I won't tell you."

Amelia also rejected her bluntly, and her face was cold and full of disgust. "Do you want her to die strugglingly?”

With that said, Amelia turned to drive the wheelchair to get out of here. Lying was actually a very tiring thing, especially to a man like Derek.

If there were any flaws, she would lose everything.

"Then I will wait here until... Until you are willing to say the truth out.”

Derek grabbed the back of the wheelchair, and the veins on his hands bulged with force, making him look a little ferocious.

"You!" Amelia didn't expect Derek to be so persistent. She was furious. "You're trespassing in a private house!"

Derek smiled. He looked around at the decorations. This house was hand-picked for Meredith by him, but she didn't know.

However, she was kidnapped here, and he did nothing.

"Even if I want to trespass here, no one dares to stop me."

Amelia was a little annoyed, "President Xavier, are you using your power to suppress me?"

She had no doubt about Derek's words, and the Xaviers was truly capable of doing this.

"I just want to know the truth.”

Amelia's hand was on the handle, turning pale with force. "In that case, do as you wish.”

"But I don't think such a busy boss like you can spend all your time with a cripple like me abroad, right?”

Derek, after all, was the president of the Xavier Group, and he attended to numerous affairs every day. Amelia didn't think he would stay here for long.

Derek frowned and looked at her side of the face, then he called Damian, "I will deal with the domestic things of our company abroad in the future.”

Amelia paused and stiffened in an instant.

Was this man serious or not?

What was his purpose?

Amelia had to say that she had no idea what he was thinking, but she knew that it seemed difficult to solve this problem.

"I know as the man in charge of the Xaviers, you have the power to do whatever they want, but as a mother, for the sake of my daughter's last peace, even if I die, I won't let people like you disturb her."

After that, she stopped pestering him and pushed her wheelchair out.

She could no longer entangle herself with Derek, or else she might reveal something.

Also, she had to warn Parker to hide Meredith well.

When necessary, she should probably take some necessary measures.
