The wind on my face while I ran made me giggle. My paws were firm on the ground, and it was as if I had done it since I was fourteen, like the other wolves. I was following Max. He caught a scent of a deer and wanted to get it for me.

Max and Ares were faster than I was, and I followed them by scent. They were already waiting for me with the kill when I reached them. I rubbed my snoot on his neck, praising him. He was perfect. “Well done, Max. Let’s eat. I am hungry.” He puffed his chest, making him seem way bigger. “Thank you, little one.” Max’s voice sounded cocky in the mindlink. Both of them knew they had good skills.

I took the first bite while he watched me, and satisfaction flooded my body. He was happy to feed me. He joined me after my first bite. “Isn’t he perfect, Jules?” Aphrodite showed up in my mind wagging her tail. “Yes, He is, A.”

After finishing my food, I felt Ares rubbing his body on mine, and I knew he wanted Aphrodite. “I want my other half, little wolf.” He mindliked me. When I moved my head to look at him, Aphrodite was already in control. I have learned to stay on the back, as Max taught me. He has been very patient with me, teaching me everything a wolf needs to know.

Loved stricken my body while they were mating, and I felt every minute of it now that I was not fading away anymore. Their love was so intense and beautiful. And the pleasure I felt inside me when they finished was greater. After a few minutes, Ares took off and ran, playing with Aphrodite, following till we arrived back at our perfect place.

I was sure that Max had mindlinked a few wolves to get the rest of the deer. It was a big kill; of course, he would share it with the pack.

We moved back upstairs in wolf form, and when I shifted back in control, I felt Max’s hand grabbing my body to the bathroom. “We can’t let only the wolves have all the fun, can we?” His voice was playful, and I giggled at his silliness, feeling the warm water running through my body. He moved my front to the tiles pressing my naked breasts against it with his body behind. Max licked my mark, and I moaned. The palm of his hands covered mine entangling our fingers together. He spread my legs with his and lowered himself to a better position inside me.

Feeling what he felt was my favourite part of having a mate. His feelings were so vivid during the mating. He was a proper wolf for way longer than me and knew how to let his instincts consume his body.

Max nibbled my mark, and that was always my undone moment. With a ragged breath, he moved my body to face him and gave me a sweet kiss. “You please me so much, Julie. I am unsure what I did to the Moon Goddess for her to gift me you and Ares. There is nothing more important in this world than you, too, for me.” With the warm water running on my face, he declared the words I longed to hear while I was hurt at the Woodland. Someone that would care for me as my parents could no longer do.

I felt emotional and held his body tight. Max petted my hair, and I felt the mate bond pulsing. He knew what I was feeling and moved quickly to comfort me. Lately, Aphrodite had not poured love inside me as she was doing before. All the love and anything else I felt was only coming from Max.

“I will always be here for you, my little one.” Following his words, he held me even tighter, and after a while, he moved to get the shampoo and washed my hair. Max always did it, and it felt great.

We got dressed for the day, and in the afternoon, when I was reading our book Max sat behind me on the windowsill and pulled me to his chest. He inhaled my scent and rested his chin on my right shoulder.

“I am sorry, Julie. But it is time to get back to the pack house. But you don’t have to worry about anything; nothing will change when we get there.”

With his reassuring words, I knew it was time to start my journey as his Luna. And now I knew we were strong together, and I was no longer afraid to disappoint the Blue Moon.

Jordan POV

Driving back to the Shadows Pack, I felt like a peregrine going from pack to pack to recruit allies. Well, we could not call this recruitment, as those Alphas didn’t have a choice. They were not allies. They had to do as I commanded, or I would expose all the wrongdoings they had been doing for years, and the Council would have their heads.

I guess the right word for this is blackmail. But who cares? As long as I got the numbers to invade the Blue Moon Pack and create a significant distraction to take the weak Omega from there, I would keep going.

I laughed to myself. That weak Omega is my ticket to my Kingdom. She is anything but weak if that Witch is telling the truth, I will keep the Omega on a silver leash by my side till she dies.

A smirk formed on my face, stupid Michael thinks he will have her after the extraction, and that brat Tania is even more ridiculous as after Max has done all the work for me, he will be dead, and she will not have him as a mate.

I was using them both. They would be invading the Blue Moon, and I will be watching from the sidelines. It was a perfect plan and would not leave a footprint if something went wrong.

I went straight to the war room. When I got to the Shadows Pack, Michael, John, and General Clark were already waiting for me for the meeting. As soon as Michael saw me, he started to rant about us not moving fast enough, and he wanted the Omega now.

“Maximus holds a giant pack, Michael, not only in land but also in skilled wolves. The Blue Moon is the biggest pack that ever existed, and I don’t have to teach you demographics now.” I was tired of his rant on the phone and when I was here. His wolf was impatient and got aggressive. He last saw the Omega a long time ago.

The sun illuminated the war room, and Alpha John and his General were quiet, and I hoped they were not getting cold feet. The job needed to be done, and I needed them. “Your daughter needs it, John, and so does your pack. If she is Maximus Luna, the Alliance you had with the Blue Moon for centuries is back on. Right now, you are at a disadvantage. Word is out, and your enemies will come for you now that you don’t have Maximus backing you up.”

I needed him to think he was doing it for his daughter and his pack, or he would not be inclined to keep the plan with my name out. He looked at his General and back to me. “How many packs will follow you, Jordan?”

Of course, they wanted to know the numbers. We were not there yet, but soon we would be. “I have visited three packs, and all will follow. They do not have an Alliance with the Blue Moon and are up for the task. I will be visiting two more soon. That will be enough to get the girl out of there.”

The General moved to the wall staring at the map. He was analysing the best place for an attack. “She is his destined mate. Alpha Maximus will feel pretty soon that something is happening to her during the war.” General Clark’s voice echoed in the room, and he seemed concerned.

I moved the war glass pieces to different parts of the Blue Moon territory that we could attack. With the numbers, and if we attacked at the further borders, it would slow down Maximus giving us time. “Exactly, but if we attack from different positions, it will take him longer to reach back the pack house, and Tania and Michael would be out of there with her.” I looked at John, and he nodded, liking my idea.

Good, everything was under control now. “How is my Witch with the disguise potions?” Michael rubbed his head like he had a headache. “She is working, but it is a larger number and will take a few days to be ready.” At least I could count on Michael to keep tabs on Melissa.

I walked towards Michael and pressed his shoulder in a friendly way. “I know your wolf is giving you headaches leaving you restless, my friend, but don’t worry. Soon you will have your Omega back, and I will persuade the Council not to take action against you.” Michael took a deep breath. He must be going mad. “Ok, Jordan.”

I looked back to John and his General. “I have to leave now, the Council is not happy about my absence, and I don’t want to raise any suspicions. Call me when my Witch has all the potions.” I saw myself out, and Tania was there waiting for me when I got to my car. This time her father had excluded her from the meeting.

“Hello, Jordan. My father was having second thoughts and asked me to stay away today. General Clark thinks it is too risky. Did you convince him otherwise?” Tania needed the plan to succeed as much as I did. She was in love with Maximus, and people do stupid things when they are in love.

I smiled at her and patted her face. “Of course I did, my dear. Don’t worry about that. Soon we will have the numbers and the potions and ready to move. You will be in Maximus’ bed in no time.”

She opened a bright smile, and her eyes sparkled in happiness. She jumped, clapping her hands together a few times, and left. I shook my head, thinking of Tania’s actions. Stupid girl, she was digging her own grave. I got inside my car and started the drive back to the Capital. Kell was clever, and I could not let him discover my plans.

Max and Julie are for a while now in their perfect place, and Julie is getting better with wolf’s skills and Max with his feelings. But the enemies are getting closer than they think, and Jordan already has many wolves to help him. Fingers crossed, guys!
