The Girl Called Trouble

Chapter September Times

I've met multiple people but only one is important. Unfortunately that one person isn't paying me like she is supposed to. I'm starting to get annoyed with her. I barely slept as she was all upset over some guy. I could never understand it.

"CERES, Go Down And Get Food Now." Hera demands.

"Seriously?" I ask annoyed by her tone.

"You Do As I Say, IF I Say Food Then You Go GEt It."

"We could just get food on our way down. There is no point in walking up and down the steps to get food, when we have to leave in a few minute anyways."

"You Don't Get To Talk To Me That Way!"

Yeah, this is annoying. There is no point in arguing. Plus we need to leave.

"Fine then give me money."

Luckily, the rest of the day goes well. I try to keep busy but only talk when I have to. One of her friends, Faun hangs out at the table. Faun is a thin, black, gay homeless man.

I watch as Hera shows him how to do everything. The guy is weird but she wants to hire him. Time passes quickly and soon enough we are back at the apartment. I fix my bed on the floor and I go to sleep.

I look around and see that I am back at Washington Square Park. I walk through the gate and I see Faun. Only this Faun looks like a mix between a goat and a man. He has horns and hairy legs that end in hooves.

I look down at my hands and realize that they are blurry. I'm dreaming. I decide to approach Faun.

"When will it happen?" I ask, hoping to avoid the event altogether.

"That depends on your decisions. You must choose what is most important to you. Your friendship or your life."

I wake up quickly. The fates are leaving her karma up to me. I am not meant to help her too much. She has to be able to make her own decisions. I look over and see her sleeping, wishing there was more I could do.
