Chapter Epilogue Part Two
It was a cold dark cavern.
The flames that lit the passage were blue. And cloaked people walked between the torches. Under those hoods, there were monsters in the purest forms of evil.
They all walked to the dead end of the path where they gathered in a circle. One carried a box, ornate in nature, and set it upon the ground gently. Opening it.
Inside it was lined with purple velvet. And a crystal wand sat inside. The beast lifted the wand gently before setting it between the stone. Ice formed and created a wall.
The beast rose and all those in the circle held hands.
“Thoir na mairbh air ais beò. Gabh am boireannach aig an robh a ceann air a reubadh às a corp agus air a thilgeil dhan teine. Gabh am fear a tha air a bhrath le a fuil fhèin.
Thoir dhuinn a’ bhana-bhuidseach dhorcha. Thoir thugainn am fear ris an can iad a’ Bhànrigh Gheal.” they chanted. They did this on repeat frmo the early hours of the morning, to the late hours of the night.
And it was then that the body arrived. In the ice was the body of a formidable queen. One with snow-white locks and sharpened emeralds for eyes. The ice melted away and the woman lay on the ground.
All those who stood in the circle bowed. For they were her most loyal followers. She rose, though she was weak.
“Your traitorous sister and her beasts have ascended the throne, my liege.” one told her. “They’ve all been crowned. The usurpers have stolen your peace.”
The Queen groaned as she cracked all of her bones, and stretched all of her muscles. “They didn’t think the story ended there, did they?” she questioned to no one in particular. “They didn’t truly think that mere fire could kill me, did they?” she laughed. “This story only ends when I end it.”
