The Cherished Wife (Noelle and Charles)

Chapter 394

"Yeah," Xavier responded as he pulled out the gift from Charles. Upon opening it, his brows furrowed slightly.

Winter leaned in to take a look and found there were two items; one was a global travel package, and the other was a document specifically for Winter.

Winter took the document, and her eyes lit up. "It's an endorsement deal with CMC! Gosh, that's such a prestigious Estodian brand. Charles really has such wide connections!" Her eyes sparkled with excitement.

Compared to the travel package, Winter was far more thrilled about the endorsement. After all, it was not money she lacked but time. This endorsement represented something much more too-fashion resources and a potential increase in her status, which were crucial for her standing in the entertainment industry.

"Gosh!" Winter was practically over the moon. "Xavier, I just love you so much!" she exclaimed, planting a kiss on Xavier's lips, entirely missing how dark his expression had become.

To Xavier, such a gift felt like a slap in the face. He was not lacking in money, but Winter lacked resources, and that was exactly what Charles could provide.

"I need to get in touch with Jane immediately. I have to make the most of this opportunity!" Winter was already planning her next move.

Meanwhile, reports of yesterday's wedding between the popular star and the wealthy heir had quickly dominated major entertainment news sections, even making their way into the financial news.

When Ronald presented the news clippings to Charles, he could not help but click his tongue in disapproval. "Mr. Hoffman, these press releases were all put out by Winter's agent, Jane. Royal Star had no prior knowledge of it."

Charles casually glanced at the headlines, which were all quite similar, with phrases like 'a match made in heaven' and 'a perfect couple', showing no originality whatsoever. "Anything else?"

"Brian has already taken Mrs. Hoffman to West City. It seems he's intent on training her well."

Charles shot Ronald a sharp look. "It appears you have too much free time?"

Ronald immediately straightened his posture. "No, sir. I'm very busy. I have to visit Royal Star later today." He quickly realized he had spoken out of turn. When it came to Noelle, any issue was not hers-it was everyone else's.

Charles waved him off. "You may go."

As soon as Ronald left the office, he called Cade and Alora Locks, who handled PR and publicity. "Take care of the situation with Winter immediately."

"Winter? What's going on with her?" Alora, who had not dealt with Winter before, was curious. She had heard of Winter's name but did not consider her a big enough star to worry about.

She had been intrigued when Royal

Star signed Winter. After hearing about the issue, she quickly looked up the latest news on Winter. She smacked her forehead in frustration. "Is she desperate for fame or what?"

"Exactly!" Cade chimed in, having also received the notice. "She's signed with Royal Star, but she's still pulling stunts like this. It's completely out of line."

Cade wasted no time in calling Winter's agent, Jane. "What are you trying to pull, going over our heads like that?"

"What?" Jane was contentedly

reading the news, pleased with the widespread coverage of Winter's wedding, when Cade's accusatory tone hit her. "Mr. Zachmann, what's the meaning of this?"

"What do you think? The company is still in the process of discussing

Winter's branding and positiet

yet you went ahead and started a media blitz without consulting us! Do you think our PR team is just for show?"

"This... This..." Jane stammered, realizing the severity of the situation. "But... But we were just..."
