Chapter My Fiancee
I took my cellphone and showed him the screen. It was a photo of Thaliana in the hospital, being treated for the head wound she got when her car collided earlier. I was so f*cking worried when I saw her in that situation. I was terrified when I saw that her head was bleeding.
"She got into an accident, and that is because of you."
Shock registered on his face. Cyron looked away, and I saw his jaw tighten.
I know. I know this kind of reaction from him very well. I know him inside out.
I know that he's still in love with Thaliana, but Cyron is blinded by his anger. Thaliana fooled him, but with what he's doing now, I won't stay silent anymore. Thaliana did enough. She tried her best. She has nothing left to do.
I will take action now. I won't just stand by and watch the woman I care about cry and suffer because of my messed-up brother.
"Thaliana regrets what she did to you. Can't you see it? Can't you feel it? She tried to seek your forgiveness, but you are being an asshole, Cyron. How many times? Three times, she came here to your house even if it's far. Her efforts are all wasted. She was hurt not just once, not just f*cking twice! And she had an accident, and it's because of you!"
"Luther! Why are you blaming Rozzean?! She didn't do anything when that woman came here earlier! What does she have to do with this accident? Is it Rozzean's fault if she's acting like a fool--"
"Shut up, Klari!" I shouted, glancing at her. My patience with the woman behind Cyron is running out.
"You are so desperate to get Cyron's attention; that's why you are here! You are giving an opinion about Thaliana, but you don't really know what happened! You are just making Thaliana look bad in his eyes just for your own good because you like Cyron! So, shut up! You are no match for Thaliana!"
Klari stepped back because of what I said. No words came out of her mouth. Cyron didn't defend her either as my gaze returned to my brother. I gripped his shirt tightly.
My chest heaved up and down with the anger I felt towards him.
"I didn't expect you to do this. Are you enjoying the company of that woman, Cyron?"
He swallowed hard, avoiding eye contact.
"Thaliana keeps saying that Klari was here, taking care of you. She insists that you don't need her anymore, that you no longer love her. Thaliana was crying so much. The pain became too much for her, didn't it?" I pointed to the ring he gave her. Cyron still didn't speak, so I continued.
"Do you no longer care for her? Has your love for her disappeared? Well, then..."
I pushed Cyron without breaking eye contact.
"I will make her fall for me."
"I like her. I have feelings for Thaliana."
He turned quickly. I could see a mix of surprise and anger in his eyes as he stared at me. His expression changed from blank to furious, but I didn't care. I had no more concern.
"I'll make sure Thaliana forgets everything about you."
"I'll make her fall for me so deeply that she'll forget all about you."
Now, he approached me and glared at me. His eyes were filled with anger, and he was breathing heavily.
"Luther Rico!" Cyron shouted madly.
I smiled. I knew it. He still loves her, but why is he acting like this now?
"Thaliana is now my fiancée, Cyron."
He froze, his lips slightly parting.
"W-What?"
I saw fear in his eyes.
I didn't need to hear it from him. I knew he still deeply loved Thaliana.
"We had dinner with her parents and ours about the engagement, Cyron. Thaliana Tangi is now my fiancée."
He didn't know that. After he turned away from his conversation with George Dela Vezca, and I took over, I didn't tell him. Cyron thought he would lose everything, but because I offered to be Thaliana's fiancé, everything remained normal in his company.
Our parents didn't say anything either because he severed ties with them when he had a fight with Dad.
"I talked to George Dela Vezca to save your company, and I told him I could be his daughter's fiancé. And he agreed. Thaliana knows about this, but she still tried to get your forgiveness because she loves you so much." "But that's enough. I can't let her keep getting hurt just because you can't forgive her."
"She returned the ring. She said she would forget about you, and I will make sure she does, Cyron. I will help her."

He gritted his teeth. His eyes were furious as he looked at me, but I didn't back down. He needed to hear all of this to wake up, to realize that what he's doing is enough. "Luther, why are you doing this?!" he asked dangerously.
"I've said it before, because I like her. I want Thaliana. I don't want to watch her get hurt because of you."
Cyron tightly gripped my collar, his eyes burning with anger.
"She's mine... she's only mine."
I smirked at him and pushed him hard.
"See? You still love her. You love her so much, whether she's Tali or Thaliana, but my words won't change."
"Even if you regret what you did to her now, my mind won't change, Cyron."
"I like her. And I'll do everything just to make her like and love me."
I turned away, but before I left, I looked at him again.
"I'm not joking about what I said."
"I like Thaliana. I will make her fall hard until she forgets all about you."
