“Being a Luna is hard work, Red. Not as demanding as my position but it still requires work. The pack members come to you for advice and comfort. You will become the mediator between families and sometimes my rule but we are a team and when I strike out, you are there to hit a home run.”
His analogy made a lot of sense, we were a team, two separate roles played on the same field, cheering each other on for support. Smiling at him, I finally felt complete, like I belonged and I was meant for more than just raising pups. I was born to lead but in a different way, a counselor if you will to members who needed motivation and insight.
"Tomorrow, we will introduce you to the pack, and then I want you to meet someone. She has helped me many times and I think she can help you too."
I chuckled as I thought about him going to someone for help then I suddenly got jealous at the mere mention of him going to another woman for any needs that he needed met. A low growl escaped my throat as my wolf threatened to tear the mystery bitch to pieces.
