The Alpha King’s Virgin by Charmeleon (Raine & Amari)

The Alpha King’s Virgin by Charmeleon Chapter 108

Chapter 108

RAINE

I kissed Amaris with a hunger that was all–consuming, not caring that we had an audience. “I’ve missed you so.” Desire flooded my veins, leaving me feeling light–headed as I held onto him desperately.

A light cough behind him made heat rush to my face. I chuckled, removing myself from Amaris‘ lap, realizing I had straddled him like a cat in heat.

Amaris turned his head to growl at them, flashing his canines. “Get. Out. NOW!”

They couldn’t get out fast enough, pushing each other out of the door, and I could have sworn I heard Johanna chuckle as they closed the door behind them.

“Amaris…” Heat pooled between my thighs. I’ve been without him for far too long. The musky scent. of our arousal overwhelmed the room.

“Raine…” His eyes darkened to pools of swirling lust. The husky sound of his voice made the muscles in my thighs quiver with excitement.

We collided like waves crashing against the shore, each desperate for the touch of the other’s skin. I melted into him as his hands roved over my breasts, kneading them until I arched my back and moaned out his name.

“Oh, I want you…” It came out as a desperate sob from deep within.

“Yes, tell me what you need, my love.” His warm mouth moved over my skin, scorching its way down to the throbbing need between my legs.

“Make love to me, Amaris. Love me…Ahh…” I shuddered when his tongue teased along my slit, probing into my folds.

His fingers dug into my buttocks, spreading me wider for his wicked kisses. He kissed his way up my inner thighs to my belly, back up to take my breast in his mouth.

“I love you, Raine.” he groaned against my skin. “Love every inch of you.” his mouth latched onto my mark, his mark. “I love you with every breath I take.”

“Oh, I’ve longed to hear you say that, my king!” I gasped from the overwhelming pleasure that coursed through me as he sucked on the mate mark. “Take me now! Make me yours!” It was the first time he declared his love for me. His voice was a siren’s song, and his touch was fire on my skin, fanning my desire.

Growling, almost feral, he penetrated my aching pussy, our hips locked together. “Look at me. Raine!” His commanding voice had my eyes snap open. “See how much I need you.”

Tears welled up in my eyes as I cupped his face in my hands, pulling him closer until our foreheads.

touched. His wolf shone out at me through his eyes, and I felt Tasha come forward to gaze at her mate. The four of us were one.

His hands tightened on my hips, drawing me in closer, filling me up completely. I moaned into his mouth. Then he pulled back, and I let out a protesting yelp. Never breaking eye contact, he smirked at me before slamming back into my channel. Soon our bodies found the rhythm, rocking together. to the music of skin slapping skin, and moans and grunts of satisfaction.

We reached our pinnacles simultaneously, collapsing in a tangled heap onto the tiled floor, spent but nowhere near sated.

“Raine, my love, I want to stay here, locked between your legs forever. But…”

I disentangled myself from him. “We have to go! Sorin…”

He silenced me with his lips on mine. “I know.” Reluctantly, Amaris let me go and pulled me up with him. “Pippa said as much. Raine, you must take the women and children to the dungeons. There is an underground tunnel where you can hide.”

“No! I will not leave your side.” I stamped my foot on the ground. “If you go into battle, I will be right there with you. I feel stronger than I’ve ever felt before.” And that was the truth. It was strange, but there was a powerful force that lived inside me, like an entity, a living thing.

Amaris‘ eyes widened at first and then narrowed as he glared at me. “Don’t defy me! I will not put you in danger.”

Please, Amaris! I am different. Not sure how, but I know I can help you. This is my kingdom too.” I stood my ground, not because I wanted to defy my king, but because our entire future depended. on winning this battle. “Together we are stronger.” I leaned into him, resting my palms on his chiseled chest. “Can’t you feel it?”

His arms surrounded my body, holding me closer. “You have the power of the Magus now. He died and passed it on to you. Joanna said that when a Mage died, their power passed on to their descendant.”

I looked

That realization hit me like a fist in the stomach. “Oh!” A sob escaped my lips, and I was unprepared for the sudden feeling of grief that overwhelmed me. Why did I cry for him? I shouldn’t feel so sad. He didn’t love me. But he did it anyway, sacrificed himself to save us.

Amaris didn’t question my feelings, said nothing. He just held me until I stopped crying.

“Are you sure you’re ready for this, my queen?” he said, eventually.

“Yes! Our kingdom needs us.” I squared my shoulders and lifted my chin.

“Sorin will not succeed.”

Amaris linked Rhona to bring clothes, and we dressed in a hurry. Ross, Lord Greyson, and the

elders waited for us in the throne room as we strode in, hardly waiting for them to acknowledge us.

“Let’s get straight to business,” Amaris said. “My brother is on his way with the entire dragon force, apparently.” He swept the room with his burning gaze. “Elder Jonas, get the women and children to safety. Sound the alarm to inform everyone of the danger.”

“Yes, of course, Sire. I will do that immediately.” Elder Jonas bowed and rushed out to do the king’s bidding. “Welcome back, Your Majesty.” he nodded to me in passing.

I knew he didn’t approve of me, but it didn’t matter to me anymore. No one’s approval mattered. except my mate’s. His acceptance and love were all I needed.

“Lord Greyson, Ross, we need every available warrior ready.”

“Indeed, Sire. They are already on their posts.” Lord Greyson inclined his head. “And may I say, we are all greatly relieved that you have recovered and that our queen has returned to us.”

Amaris lifted my hand to his lips. “Yes, and it is only thanks to Raine that I am alive. I owe her my life.”

My gaze flitted to Ross to find him beaming at me. “She has truly amazed us.”

The alarm sounded at that moment and Lord Greyson turned to me. “Your Majesty, please join the other women for safety.”

“Her Majesty will stay by my side,” Amaris declared, much to the shock and disbelief on the rest of the men’s faces. “She will join in our battle.”
