Spoild by the Silver Fox Chapter 435
Chapter 435
Upon hearing her, the classmates in the classroom swarmed over and asked, “Steph, what’s the scoop?”
“Do you know who that guy is?”
“Um…I think I heard something about…a famous director visiting our school soon. He’s looking for an actress for his new film.”
Everyone gasped, “Oh my god…Steph, are you sure?”
“Holy cow! What did we miss?!”
“Wait…that guy hasn’t left yet! Steph, are you sure your intel is solid?”
“Well I just heard it, I can’t confirm…but someone mentioned it a few days ago, and then this mystery man shows up today, could it be true?”
All the girls in the classroom, except Stephanie and Gillian, bolted out.
Gillian looked at Stephanie in disbelief, “Are you nuts? You should’ve kept it to yourself, why spill the beans?”
“Huh? Can’t I say it?”
“Only a fool would blurt it out…smart people would seize the opportunity to pitch themselves! That’s a big–budget film!”
“It’s just a minor female role…but it seems like there’s no lead female in that film!”
“In a film without a lead female, the supporting actress is the lead! This type of film can easily win the Best Supporting Actress award! Steph, you idiot! Let’s go!”
“Huh? Go where…” If it really was that director, she had already made a bad impression!
Outside a classroom, a middle–aged man was surrounded by a group of girls.
They eagerly introduced themselves to him..
The man frowned and said, “What are you talking about? I can’t understand!”
“Cut the crap, director…we already know! But rest assured, your secret visit will remain a secret.”
“Who’s been feeding you this nonsense?” the man squinted.
“It was Stephanie, she heard it from others! Director…do you think I’m suitable?”
“Director, I don’t care about the pay…I just want to be famous, pick me!”
“Director…I don’t know what kind of actress you’re looking for, do you think I’m a fit?”
The man’s mouth twitched, “You’ve got it all wrong, I’m not a director!”
“Stephanie wouldn’t lie! She has inside information and knows a lot. Director, you can’t deceive us any longer. Your charade is exposed!” a person exclaimed.
The man’s expression turned serious as he questioned, “Who is Stephanie?”
Gillian, who had just pulled Stephanie over, pushed her forward and declared, “Director, here she is! Stephanie is right here!”
The man’s sharp gaze immediately fixed upon Stephanie. Feeling a sense of unease, Stephanie asked cautiously. “Um…do you need something from me?”
“So, it was you!” the man exclaimed.
“Ahem…you remember me!” Stephanie responded, slightly taken aback.
“Did you spill the beans to them about me, a renowned director, pretending to be an ordinary person while searching for an actress?” the man demanded to know.
“Um…I heard someone mention it before, and I blurted it out without thinking…I’m sorry if I caused any inconvenience.”
“If apologies were enough, would we still need police?”
“Well…what do you want me to do?”
The man let out a chilling laugh, throwing a business card at Stephanie. “Cross me, and you’ll face severe consequences! You’ll be stuck playing maid roles in my next ten films!” he threatened before storming off.
Stephanie stood there, holding the card in her hand, her brows furrowed. “I refuse to accept any maid roles,” she muttered, determined to stand her ground.
