Spoild by the Silver Fox Chapter 434
Chapter 434
Actually, Stephanie had already realized, the road ahead was gonna be a tough one.
She didn’t give a hoot about being part of the Ingram family.
If it was gonna bother Sebastian, she could choose not to owe him anything more.
After all, she had already paid back his kindness, and now she owed him more than that.
She just felt bad for Sebastian, with no one trustworthy around him.
Thinking about this, Stephanie whipped out her phone and shot Sebastian a text: “Remember to eat lunch on time.”
Soon, he replied with a simple: “Okay”
Sebastian, who hadn’t eaten for two days due to being swamped with work, saw the text and immediately dropped everything, asking Martin to prepare lunch.
Listening to Stephanie’s words, he ate on time.
Stephanie couldn’t help but crack a smile, satisfied with his reply. Gillian Owens had already gone ahead to the cafeteria for lunch, so Stephanie’s only task was to eat. However, she was in for a surprise a few days later when the director Jeffrey, whom everyone had been talking about, actually showed up at school.
Stephanie had never seen this guy before and had no idea who he was. During class, she noticed a middle–aged man peeping into the classroom from outside, lingering there for quite some time. After class, Stephanie saw the same man.lingering outside other classrooms as well.
At first, Stephanie didn’t think much of it, but as she walked past the man, he suddenly locked eyes with her and kept his gaze fixed on
her.
“Are you a student here too?”
Facing this stranger, Stephanie answered warily: “Yes… Can I help you?”
“Have you ever acted before?”
“Um… I’ve been in a play, but it hasn’t aired yet. Why?”
“Do you like acting?”
“Of course I do, that’s why I’m here studying acting!”
“How much do you like it?”
“Mister, your questions are a bit weird…”
The man chuckled: “Weird, huh…”
“Yeah, why are you asking how much I like it… We don’t know each other, why would I tell you this?”
“I just thought you looked familiar and wanted to chat. If you’re not comfortable, I’ll leave.”
Stephanie passed by him, looking puzzled.
The man didn’t miss any of her expressions… She was beautiful, and very natural.
Most importantly… she seemed innocent.
The role he was looking for required someone who looked innocent.
The eyes had to be clear, full of life.
One minor flaw in this girl was that she was excessively beautiful. If she appeared more ordinary, she would be absolutely perfect for the role! The man inwardly sighed and proceeded to another classroom.
Meanwhile, back in her own classroom, Stephanie overheard her classmates discussing the mysterious man. “Did any of you encounter that guy as well? Who is he, anyway? He’s lurking outside every classroom!”
“Do you think he’s some kind of creep?”
“I walked by him, and he just kept staring without uttering a word.”
“Yeah, I fell the same… His gaze was quite unsettling.”
“I talked to our teacher about it, and they said the principal personally allowed this guy to roam around the school… I have no idea who
he is.”
Hearing this, Stephanie suddenly understood: “I get it now!”
Oh my God!
- Just a few days ago, Jeffrey told her a bigshot director was coming to the school to scout for actors!
Could that middle–aged man be him?
