Upon hearing this, Julia’s face changed and she said, “Dad… Is it Mitchell?” 

“Not just Mitchell, but also Aaron Ingram!” 

“But Dad… You don’t necessarily have to take on Stephanie yourself, do you?” 

Jaxon squinted his eyes and said, “What’s your idea?” 

“Dad… You’ve seen how these big shots in B City play their games… You should remember the incident between the former movie queen Ashley and Jeffrey from the Perez family…”

Stephanie glared at Jeffrey and questioned him sternly, “Jeffrey, what are you doing here at my school?” 

*Why isn’t Sebastian answering my calls? Is he trying to back out of our agreement?” 

“Sebastian told me that you were speaking nonsense and lying to me… That’s why he no longer wants to help you.” 

“Lied to me?” Jeffrey narrowed his eyes and retorted, “Just because of that?” 

“Well… Yesterday, upon hearing what you said, I felt sorry for Sebastian and took him to visit his father’s grave… Jeffrey, because of your deceit, I’ve been utterly humiliated! You used a deceased person’s matter to deceive others! Don’t you have any conscience?” 

Jeffrey raised an eyebrow and said, “That’s all because of you, insisting on not letting me see Ashley!”
