Gillian recalled the day she saw Sebastian and immediately said with a big grin, “I haven’t seen a better looking guy than Steph’s fiancé 

“Wow! Really?” 

“Oh my god! So, he’s not only rich and powerful to support Stephanie, but also super handsome?” 

Stephanie said helplessly. “Well it’s not as exaggerated as Gillian said. He is my fiancé. I originally wanted to keep a low profile, so I didn’t mention it, and just promised the teacher that I didnt do anything wrong. But since Megan insisted on stirring up trouble, I don’t mind saying it out loud.” 

Megan frowned and said, “What evidence do you have?” 

Stephanie smirked, “What? Do I need to invite him over to meet you, Megan, as evidence? Sorry, you’re not that important!” 

Who cares about meeting him? I just think you’re lying!” Said Megan. 

“Why don’t you ask your cousin Maddie? If you don’t believe what she says, you can ask her father!” Said Stephanie 

Upon hearing this, everyone immediately believed Stephanie was telling the truth. 

In no time, the original rumor that Stephanie was being kept spread around the school fell apart, and everyone knew Stephanie had an outstanding fiancé. 

He was said also super good–looking 

At lunchtime, Stephanie went to the school cafeteria with Maddie and Gillian. Quite a few familiar faces greeted her. 

Maddie, unaware of what happened in their class, asked in surprise, “What’s going on? Why is everyone so concerned about Steph?” 

Gillian told her the story of what happened in the classroom earlier. 

After listening, Maddie exclaimed, “I need to go find her!” 

Stephanie quickly stopped her, “It’s over. Don’t worry about it.” 

“Megan is such an idiot! My dad mentioned before that if Steph could snatch the role from that investor, we should stick to her like gluel And yet Megan went looking for trouble and got herself in a mess!” Said Maddie. 

“Ha–ha did your dad really say that?” 

“I even called him shallow! We’re sincerely friends, not looking for some sugar mama! It’s an insult to our friendship.” Said Maddie. 

“Exactly, your dad is shallow!” 

“My dads looking out for me, don’t say bad things about him!” Said Maddie 

“Ha–ha… you just called him shallow! Ah, the unappreciated love of a father!” Said Stephanie. 

“Stephanie, you’re annoying!” Said Maddie. 

Tell me, how are you going to stick with me from now on? Cling to my leg?” Said Stephanie 

“ill beat you up, believe it or not?” Said Maddie. 

“Ha–ha. I know you can’t because you love me so much!” Said Stephanie 

Maddie smiled bitterly. “It’s not about I want or not! The main thing is that I couldn’t beat you!” 

“Alright, are you guys eating or not! Steph, did you forget the teacher want us to eat quickly and go see her in the office?” Said Gillian. 

“Oh right! I bet it’s about the filming.” 

Maddie immediately frowned and paid, “This sucks. Now if both of you go filming. Ill be the only one left at school!” 

Gillian immediately suggested, “Maddie… how about asking your dad to arrange a role for you too? We can all join the cast together! 

“He won’t agree. He’s been resentful about me hiding my plastic surgery from him. Although he still loves me, he doesn’t want me to appear in public.” Said Maddie 

“Why?” 

“He said there will be times when I regret in the future… If I’m not famous, I’ll be criticized for my bad acting, but if I get famous, people will criticize for the plastic surgery bad” 

“What about you? What were you thinking when you decided to get the surgery?” 

Maddie pouted and said, “it’s because I wasn’t good–looking enough…
