Spell Bound

Chapter Five

Lucian

I fought hard to keep the smile off of my face and my eyes closed as she dragged me throughout the motel room.

Her cocky words of abducting an alpha hang in the air as she struggles with dragging me.

When she finally drags me to what I am assuming is the living room I hear chains being moved around. How my beautiful mate got chains in this motel room I don't know, but I won't try to fight her on it.

I allow her to chain me up. She obviously hasn't done too much studying on wolves before my abduction. While these may hold back a regular wolf for some time, I would have no trouble escaping these.

I still play unconscious, and allow her to take my blood. I only decide drop the act once I realize that she is about to leave. I open my eyes and pull on the chains a little to catch her attention.

She looks up from the smile vial of blood in her hand, a smirk on her beautiful face. "What's wrong mutt? Are the accommodations not to your liking?" She asks before her booming laughter fills up the room.

She stops laughing when she realizes that I have no intentions of answering her question. We stare at one another in silence, and I can't get over just how beautiful she is. Her light brown eyes narrow as she assesses me, but I keep my relaxed posture against the wall. The last thing I need to do is give her a reason to flee.

"You have yet to thank me for my blood. A thank you would be nice." I say as I sweep my eyes over her figure.

She straightens her spine and glares at me. "You are the one who should be thanking me. I could have dragged my knife vertically down your brachial artery and could have easily bled you out if I wanted."

"You did an amazing job on not bleeding me out." I responded dryly.

She frowned at me, but didn't respond.

Her heartbeat had picked up speed, and I noticed that her hands were trembling a bit.

I quickly come to the conclusion that my staring is what has caused her uneasiness so I once again close my eyes, and lean my head against the wall.

Even with my eyes closed I can feel her stare.

"So, what is a witch like you planning to do with my blood?" I ask.

I hear her huff. "I don't think that is any of your business." She stated. I can hear the annoyance in her voice.

"What you plan to do with my blood isn't my business?" I ask before a small chuckle escapes my lips. My little mate is a spitfire.

"I am using it to get revenge against several of my enemies. Would you like to add yourself to that list?" She says with a laugh. "I have already proven how weak you really are so I am sure you don't want to make an enemy out of me."

"If you chain up those who aren't your enemies I would hate to see what you do to those who become your enemies." I open my eyes to stare at her beautiful face once again.

"They die." She answered simply. "I enjoy killing those who attempt to go against me."

The smirk along with the little twinkle in her eye when she talking about killing her enemies let me know that she meant every word that she said. I couldn't help but just appreciate that the moon goddess gifted this little spitfire to me.

"I would prefer not like to make it to your list of enemies."

"Good." She stated before turning around and going to sit at the table.

She pulls the vial out of her bag observing my blood in the tube before rolling it back and forth in between her thumb and pointer finger.

I continue to observe her as she messes around with the blood.

I try to remember the visions that Marisol had shown me. That will explain exactly what she is trying to do.

I know she wants revenge on her ex-coven for exiling her and then doing the thing that they exiled her for.

Blood magic.

She plans to drink my blood and use it to become powerful enough to wipe out her entire coven.

She abruptly stands up before grabbing her backpack and runs out of the hotel room.

I would run after her, but I need my plan to fall in place.

I know she will be back.

It has been three days of me chained up to this wall with no end in sight.

She comes in near the afternoon to draw my blood, observes it a little, snickers over the fact that I am 'her little bitch' as she put it, and then leaves.

She makes sure to never tell me too many details and avoids answering any my questions.

Over the days she has left a few of her things here, giving me a glimpse of who she is.

A few books that details in dark magic, a few scrolls that show different techniques and foretell warnings that come with certain magic, different herbs in small plastic bags and dark liquids encased in glass bottles.

I doubt that she has drank any of the blood that she has drawn from me. I could feel the magic rolling off in waves when I first came face to face with a witch who dabbled in blood magic. I have never felt the same come from her.

I would watch her sit and observe my blood like it was an anomaly. She would write a few things down in her notebook, probably about my blood before leaving.

I am curious as to why she hasn’t taken it and taken revenge against her coven but asking her would make her suspicious. Letting her know that I know of her plans will only rile her up.

I don’t need her spewing hatred of me and my kind anymore than she anymore than she already has.

The door opens and my little spitfire comes walking in.

The scowl on her face lets me know that she is annoyed with something, and that this isn’t going to be so pleasant.

“How are you doing alpha? I hope your stay has been pleasant. Please tell me what would you rate your stay out of five stars?” The sarcasm dripping in her voice as she walked towards the kitchen.

I don’t respond, I just continue to watch her as she goes about her daily routine. She walks towards the kitchen to retrieve her favorite weapon to use against me, a knife.

“How does it feel to know that your pack isn’t even looking for you?” She asks as she stood in front of me with her knife in her hand.

She twirls the knife a little bit as she smirks at me while waiting for my response.

“My pack knows how to operate without me being there. I am sure my beta will be sending a small task force to find and retrieve me soon.”

She snickers. “You don’t sound very optimistic. Since you’re so sure of your beta than let’s speed up this process.”

Just as she is about to cut into my flesh once again the door to the hotel opens causing her to flinch.

I watch the door and see her friend that I saw in the vision that Marisol showed me.

Her eyes zero in on me. I can tell that she knows who I am by the petrified look on her face before she lets out a piercing scream.

Arabella drops the knife as she rushes to her. “Can you stop that!” She yells out as she places her hands on her shoulders and starts to shake her friend a little bit.

“You told me that you would take his blood and leave! No wonder you haven’t done what you said you were going to do yet! I should have known better to leave you to do this on your own!” I watch as my mate's friend chastises her. Her hands flying in all different directions. "You and your impulsive ways are going to get both of us killed!" She glances at me before lowering her voice. "Don't you know how savage they can be to those foolish enough to make an enemy out of them?"

Arabella crosses her arms. “How did you find me?” She demands. It's nice to see that her fiery attitude isn't reserved only for me.

“A locator spell!”

“Damn it I just-“ She cuts her self off before closing her eyes tightly and pinching her nose. “Let’s just step outside.”

Her friend glances at me warily before she walks out the room.

Arabella glares at me before she steps out of the room.

I lean my head against the wall once again before letting out a sigh.

This is going to be a long process.
