Chapter Erelim
Erelim
This was treason. This was one-hundred-percent, no-doubt-about-it, throw-me-in-jail-for-centuries… treason. And yet, Destiny’s daughter, her own flesh and blood, had begged me to do this, had claimed it was necessary in order for the war to be won. According to Destiny’s latest meeting, wherein she’d declared she was willing to do anything and everything to secure that victory, even if it cost her life, I was simply going the extra mile. Was that not what I was doing? Securing a win, and along with it, a safe place for my family to grow?

I kept walking through the night, all the while the same thought rolled around in my head, now accompanied by a second.
This was definitely treason.
But it was necessary.
