Son-In-Law Gets an Upgrade by Mr. Adeel

Chapter 1133

Chapter 1133 Horrifying
Early in the morning the next day, Alex woke up. got dressed, and planned to go out for a walk.
He couldn’t keep the fact that I killed Tris a secret for long, so there were things he had to do urgently.
Upon leaving the house, Alex wandered aimlessly around the Grant residence, wanting to see what kind of level the disciples of
Leight Sect were at
Based on his observations, Leight Sect indeed had several hundred disciples. Although the Grant residence was large, it couldn’t
accommodate all those people. Some of them stayed in nearby areas so they could arrive promptly if anything happened there.
Even the most skilled among those people only possessed the strength of a first-phase Master, which posed no threat
whatsoever to Alex.
As Alex was about to ask someone about the whereabouts of the two elders, he heard a woman’s shrill voice coming from
behind him. “Stop right there!”
Upon hearing that voice, Alex turned around and realized the person was actually Eve, Zack’s ex-wife. Recognizing her, Alex
decided not to pay her any attention and continued walking, completely ignoring her presence.
Eve saw Alex about to leave and shouted at the top of her lungs, “You’re just Mr. Tris’ plaything. What right do you have to
wander around? Aren’t you afraid of dirtying this place?”
She spent last night with Ralph and Theo, and it was from them that she learned Tris had chosen Alex because Tris had a
certain kind of fetish.

Alex turned around and retorted, “It’s one thing for you to be a despicable woman, yet you’re also slandering others early in the
morning. Are you afraid others won’t know what kind of person you are?”
Eve never expected Alex would speak of him like that. Enraged, she shook the arm of the black-robed man beside her while
wearing an aggrieved expression and said pitifully, “Sir, look at his attitude. He doesn’t seem to have any respect for you! You
must teach this brat a lesson.”
The man in the black robe was none other than the one who had chosen people that day. Naturally, he recognized Alex.
“He does seem like he needs to be taught a lesson. How do you want to deal with him, baby?” Ralph asked as he gently touched
Eve’s check.
Needless to say, Eve didn’t have a good impression of Zack’s friend, and considering what Alex had just said about her, there
was no way she would let Alex off easily.
“Sir, just seeing him annoys me. Why don’t you kick him out of Leight Sect? How is someone like him even worthy of staying
here?”
Ralph hesitated upon hearing Eve’s demand. As Alex had already been taken to Tris, without Tris’ command, Ralph didn’t dare
to act on his own to chase Alex out of the sect.
In the eyes of ordinary people, he was seen as a great man, even a deity. However, in reality, he was just an insignificant disciple
of the Leight Sect, and his current strength was merely that of a martial artist.
“No, I can’t do that, but I can help you beat him up to vent your anger. What do you think?” said Ralph.

Eve wasn’t a fool. Beating Alex to vent her anger wasn’t a bad idea. If it weren’t for this meddlesome person, Cory wouldn’t have
ditched me. “Very well, Sir. Please display your prowess to the full and teach this ignorant fellow a lesson!”
Alex stood at one side, sneering at the two. He even felt a little sorry for Zack. Last night, when the latter was drunk, he kept
shouting Eve’s name. His undying affection for her was simply not worth it.
Alex would show no mercy to those who actively sought trouble with him. As he watched Ralph charge at him, Alex thrust his
palm at Ralph’s chest.
The two were still five or six meters apart when Ralph was sent flying by a powerful surge of Mortal Force before he could even
touch Alex.
Ralph slammed heavily onto the ground, and all the bones in his body shattered. The seemingly gentle palm strike from Alex
was actually devastating for a martial artist like Ralph. The fact that the latter didn’t die could only be attributed to Alex holding
back his strength.
Eve was shocked, standing there shivering uncontrollably. Moments ago, Alex had actually sent the deity of Leight Sect flying.
That was simply horrifying.
She was under the assumption that Alex might just be a little rich, but she never expected his capabilities to be that formidable.
Alex looked at Eve with a mocking expression and said indifferently, “You used to rely on Cory, and now you think that useless
person can deal with me. Who else do you want to call for help? I will stand here and wait for your reinforcement to arrive.”
