Chapter 1035 You Stink
After learning the reason behind this incident, Alex breathed a sigh of relief. He had an exhausting day and was so busy that he
nearly collapsed. Now that he was home, he wanted nothing more than to sleep well and get some rest.
“Stanley, be good and listen to Ms. Sutton. I had a long day, so I’m going to bed. Remember to be good!” Alex stroked Stanley’s
head and prepared to leave.
Just as he was about to turn around, Stanley suddenly grabbed his hand and gave him a pleading look as if telling him not to
leave.
Kate walked over and took Stanley’s hand before saying with a smile, “You must be missing your daddy since you haven’t seen
him all day, Stanley, but he had a tiring day, so he really should have a good rest now.” She caressed the little boy’s head. “Let
your daddy rest. I’ll play with you!”
Kate then signaled Alex with her eyes and said thoughtfully, “Go and rest. I’ll take care of Stanley.”
Alex nodded. “You should rest early too. Stanley, you must listen to Ms. Sutton.”
Kate’s smile gradually stiffened as she watched the room door close, and her expression turned terrifyingly gloomy.
She grabbed Stanley’s hand and dragged him to the bathroom on the first floor. On the way there, the little boy wanted to
struggle, but a fierce look from her scared him so much that he dared not speak.
Kate opened the door and threw Stanley into the bathroom. She then entered before locking the door from the inside.
“I want to sleep now, Ms. Sutton,” Stanley whined, feeling aggrieved as he curled up in a corner.

Kate scoffed when she heard that. “You were trying to tell on me to Alex when he came back just now, weren’t you? Were you
trying to get him to drive me away? Or do you truly wish to have your limbs cut off and beg in the streets?”
Her voice grew loud toward the end, scaring Stanley so much that he buried his head between his knees and kept trembling. He
dared not answer her question.
He had desperately wished to tell Alex about Kate ill-treating him, but he had never thought that she would suddenly appear and
witness that scene.
“Disobeying me, aren’t you? I have no patience for disobedient children!” Kate pulled Stanley up from the floor and toward the
toilet as she spoke. Then, she plunged his head into the toilet bowl.
Stanley struggled with all his might, but there was no way a six-year-old boy could resist the strength of an adult.
The moment Kate saw that his face was pressed against the edge of the toilet, she wickedly pressed the flush button. Following
a loud gushing sound, Stanley’s entire head was flushed by the water. Due to his struggle to breathe, his mouth and nose were
filled with toilet water.
Only after seeing that was she satisfied. After pulling him away from the water, she asked with a sneer, “Do you dare to say
anything that shouldn’t be said to your daddy in the future?”
Stanley sat on the ground, sobbing and shaking his head. Despite feeling deeply humiliated, he had no choice but to obey her.
“All right. Take a bath and go to bed. You stink!” Kate shot him a look of disgust and fanned her hand in front of her nose as if she
had smelled something foul.

After closing the bathroom door, she sat on the couch and read a book as if nothing had happened. The content of the book had
her hooked.
