Chapter Part 19
**Not Edited**
Sydney
I watch with satisfaction as Ashley’s body falls to the floor. The drugs I gave her did their job. Chelsey and Hannah freak out while I just stand there. They don’t suspect a thing. I grab the needles with the sedatives from my pocket and jab one into each of their necks. They each have a brief moment of panic and confusion before they slump to the floor.
I put each of the girls in a chair and tie their hands and feet to the chairs. I then take the burner phone from my back pocket and click the only number programmed on it.
“Hello?” a gruff voice demands
“It’s done. The girls wouldn’t leave so I sedated them,”
“I told you to keep this clean. She was simply supposed to disappear!”
“I know, they don’t trust me so it had to be this way,”
“Leave before they wake.”
he hangs up the phone and I drag Ashley’s unconscious body outside and to the car hidden behind the property. Once she is tucked inside I peel out of the drive and head to the meeting point.
In the rear-view mirror I see a large wolf stop and watch the car drive away. I smirk as it fades from view.
Getting Ashley to trust me was way too easy.
About thirty minuets later I pull up to the abandoned house. I manage to get Ashley into the house and bound to a chair with little struggle. I then snap a picture seconds before she groans. “Rise and shine sunshine,” I say in a fake sweet voice. She blinks her eyes open, her gaze unfocused. “Sydney, Whats going on?”
Daniel
Ashley is adamant that I stay behind. She insists that everything will be fine and she doesn’t need a bodyguard to go on a ladies weekend.
I however, wouldn’t be doing my job if I didn’t follow them. So that’t exactly what I do. I shift into wolf form and manage to stay hidden along the way.
I find a nice tree to lay under and plop down. My gaze never strays from the cabin. I stand when the pizza delivery guy comes, ready to attack at any moment. He leaves and I lay back down.
I must have dozed off because I’m awaken by music blasting from inside the cabin. I stand and walk toward the window. All four girls and dancing sloppily around the lounge room. I sigh and make my way back to the pack house. They are just being teenagers.
The next morning I get an uneasy feeling. So, I make the thirty minuet jog to the cabin. I get there just in time to see a car speeding away. I pick up Ashley and Sydney’s scents. A growl shakes my body. I’ve somehow managed to lose her again. I make my way in the house. In her haste, Sydney left the door open. Hannah and Chelsey work at rope binding them each to chairs. I enter the house and huff to let them know I’m there. I manage to chew the ropes binding their hands and allow them to do the rest. Once they are free we sprint to the pack house.
