Me and Alec had left early in the morning. I made sure I was close to Alec.
“Why do you keep looking over your shoulder?” Alec asked putting two bags in the car.
“Who’s car is that? Who’s driving it?” I asked as Alec sat in the car.
“Liam and Cameron” he said and I nodded slowly
I sat in the back next to Alec as Liam and Cameron turned around and smiled.
“Hey Emily. Are you okay now?” Liam asked and I nodded and looked out the window.
“Emily?” Cameron asked and I closed my eyes and leaned on the window
“Leave her alone guys. Let’s go” Alec mumbled and the car started
After 20 minutes of driving Liam parked the car outside the pack house. I got out out the car with Alec, and Cameron walked towards me.
“Emily? Are you okay? What’s wrong?” He asked and Alec walked towards me.
“Shall we go?” I mumbled and Alec nodded. I followed Alec inside to be influged into a hug.
I pushed the person away from me to see it was Natalie.
“Woah. Okay I thought you would have missed me” she mumbled standing up as Liam and Cameron walked inside.
“I-I’m sorry Nat” I mumbled and she shook her head
“Your mom did tell me you would be a little cautious. It’s okay Emily. I’m not going to hurt you” she said and I nodded
“Do you know where Anna is?” I asked just as Anna walked down the steps and towards Alec.
“I missed you. You took longer” she kissed his cheek.
“Anna-”
“Don’t! Look Emily. I don’t want to talk to you!” She muttered looking at me and I shook my head
“I know Anna but this is about Alec. He started coughing up blood yesterday and I couldn’t heal him. I had to make him lose his memory a couple of days back but he has got it back. I think” I explained and Alec turned to me, dropping the bags on the floor
“What!” He shouted and I moved back
“I’m sorry Alec. But you nearly died” I mumbled and Anna looked at me
“I can’t cure him anymore Emily. I’m a beginner” she said and I sighed
“But Anna you have to do something! He was coughing up blood! And he nearly died” I exclaimed and she sighed
“I can’t! I don’t think I can cure a curse. I AM A BEGINNER” she told me and I sighed
“Fine. Isn’t there anything else we can do? Or someone else we can ask?” I asked
“The Royal Crystal Pack. But they’re all dead” she muttered and I took a deep breath.
“Where is their kingdom?” I mumbled and Alec rolled his eyes
“They are dead! Don’t you get it Emily? I’m going to die” he shouted and walked to his office.
“But we can save you! You can save yourself!” I shouted stopping him
“Alec she’s right! Just mark her and it’s the end. You can live” Anna sighed
“No Anna! Don’t you see mates? My parents? My mom fucking cheated on dad! I don’t beileve in mates! Okay? If I fall in love with someone, it should be because I want to ” He stared at me, walking back towards us.
“Fine!” Anna shouted back
Chase? Chase can mark me! Chase is part of Alec. He should be cured with that. Yeah I thought smiling to myself.
“I wil-”
“Shut up Alec and give control to Chase!” I said and he shook his head
“No?” He muttered confused and I walked closer to him.
“Chase? Take control. Please!” I muttered holding Alec’s hand.
“No Emily.” Alec muttered taking deep breaths.
“Please Alec. I like Chase more!” I smiled and he took a deep breath, closing his eyes
“Chase? Come on Chase. Please. If you love me take control?” I asked for the last time and his eyes changed black and he smirked
“Of course I love you Emily. This jerk is getting good at not giving me control” he muttered and pulled me closer to him, wrapping his arms around me.
“Emily what ar-”
I ignored Natalie and smiled at Chase.
“I want you to mark me Chase!” I said and he chuckled
“So you want me? I could complete the whole mating round” he smirked and I blushed
“No! Just mark me please” I whispered and he nodded
“Okay. I don’t mind if you give these guys a show. But it’ costs money. I want $10 off everyone” Chase let me go and walked to Liam.
“Chase!” I exclaimed and he turned around and smirked at me
“Are you that eager?” He muttered
“We’ll all leave” Liam pulled Nat out the room. Cameron and Anna left as well and Chase walked back to me.
“Chase please. I want to save Alec but he doesn’t want to be saved” I mumbled and he held my hand.
“I know Emily. But he’s had a rough past. Mom cheated on dad, dad died then. And then he was cursed.” Chase said and I nodded
“I know Chase. That’s why I want him to live.” I said and he nodded and leaned closer to me
He trailed kisses down my neck, and found my sweet spot. He sucked on it and I moaned as he wrapped his arms around me.
“Alec love you too but he just doesn’t accept it” Chase muttered before he bit me
“Ugh” I moaned in pain and pleasure
All of a sudden I was pushed away and I fell to the floor. I looked up to see Chase had given control back to Alec.
“Wh-”
“It’s best for you Alec. Nobody wants you to die” I muttered tired.
“You’re going to feel tired” he picked me up and started walking upstairs.
“So you’re not angry?” I asked laying my head on his chest and feeling the sparks grow.
“Upset. Not angry.” He replied laying me in his bed.
“I’m sorry Alec. But I had too. Do you feel any better?” I questioned as he pulled the covers over me.
“I feel great. Healthy. But this doesn’t change anything between us Emily” he said standing up and I nodded
“I know” I muttered and he nodded then walked out the room.
I know you want to be with Anna. But what about me? But then again, who wants to be with a girl who got raped, and is pretending that nothing happened to her?
