REVENGE OF THE BETRAYED WOLF

Chapter Chapter forty-eight

Apollo, worried about Lucia, calls Freya and Sienna, and tells her about the conversation he had with Isis. He asked Freya to find Lucia and make sure she was all right. His she-wolf was agitated, howling and growling; he couldn't understand why she was behaving like this and prayed to the goddess Selene for all to be well.

Freya got out of the bath and, consulting her wardrobe, opted for a new floral dress. She made her way to her children's bedroom and, on opening the door, found that they were not there. She went downstairs and asked one of the servants where her children were, who replied that they were playing in the garden.

She headed for the back of the mansion and towards her children. However, her pace came to an abrupt halt when she realized that Psyche was weeping inconsolably in Crono's arms, while Ajax was squinting and folding his hands, sitting on a bench. Freya rolled her eyes, she could already imagine what had happened, her children living in constant strife and tears.

Seeing her mother, Metis rushed over, holding out her little hands for Freya to carry her. As she told her.

"Psyche and Ajax started fighting over the slide mom. Ajax went first, but Psyche tried to stop him and grabbed him by the hair mommy, and my little brother bit her to get her to let go. Mommy, Mr. Crono, arrived and intervened to separate them, and now Ajax is angry because Daddy told him that girls don't get bitten."

"Mom, she started as usual by teasing me, I'm not going to play with her anymore. She wants everything I catch," protests the little boy, pouting.

"Mwah, mwah, mwah... he bit me, Mommy, it hurts," echoes a broken little voice.

"My children, don't fight; you're little brothers and sisters and you have to look out for each other and not fight." says Crono, stroking his puppy's head.

"Daddy, you don't know Psyche. She wants everything for herself and always wants to be the first to play with the toys. She's still a baby. I let her have mine so she doesn't bother me, but Ajax defends his and she always hits him," Metis says calmly.

"Metis, I'm not a baby, I'm a big girl," says Psyche, squinting.

Cronus is charmed by the maturity with which his daughter Métis expresses herself, and Typhon is happy to see his little ones, his wolf begging to come out so that they recognize him.

"Princess, don't cry anymore, Daddy's going to have a slide installed for each of them and more toys for them to play with, but you mustn't fight with your little brothers anymore. He put her down on the floor: "Don't cry, my wolf loves them and wants to meet them. He gave her a kiss on her little head and approached his son. He leaned over and said in a tender voice: "You are my strong and noble prince. She is your little sister who loves you very much, you are all three little brothers and you must play in harmony" She hugged him tenderly, then, with a smile, continued: "I've come to play with you three".

Crono took a few steps towards the edge of the forest, then released Typhon who, seeing the children, approached cautiously. Freya lowered Metis to the ground. Typhon, tongue out, knelt before them. Smiling radiantly, the children stroked the imposing wolf, who sniffed them gently before howling with love. At that moment, the bond between them grew stronger. The children began to speak tenderly to the wolf, and the magic of the bond became evident. Typhon, in his own language, swore to them that he would protect them with his life; they were now part of his pack and no force could separate them.

Freya was in awe of this touching scene. Despite the differences between her and Crono, she knew they had nothing to do with her adorable pups. In her mind, however, she longed only to protect her children from danger. A shiver ran down her spine as she watched Typhoon play and express his love for his little ones. At that moment, he remembered Lucia and decided to leave Crono alone with his children; with a smile, he turned his back on them and entered the house. Heading for the kitchen, Freya approached the cook and asked.

"Maria, have you seen Lucia? I've been looking for her and couldn't find her in the manor."

"Madam, she was feeling ill and went to the village pharmacy for a moment".

Freya hadn't decided to go looking for her, but she couldn't ignore the favor her friend was asking of her. She looked at Maria and said.

"If you ask me, I'm in town. I'll be back in a little while."

"That's fine, ma'am," the woman replied with a friendly smile and returned to her chores.

Freya left the manor and decided to walk towards the center of town, which wasn't far away.

Meanwhile, Lucia was dragged into the forest. A few minutes earlier, she was on her way to a pharmacy, feeling her heat coming on. On the way, as she crossed an alleyway, a hand suddenly grabbed her, covering her mouth. She struggled desperately to free herself, but her assailant struck her in the face, knocking her unconscious. The alley opens onto the woods and the affair goes unnoticed.

Arriving at an old shack, a man ushers her in and lays her down on a sofa. Carefully, he began to pat her cheeks, trying to bring her back to consciousness.

Lucia slowly opened her eyes, the first thing she felt was a pain in the left cheekbone of her face. She reached out and began to stroke the painful area. When she looked straight ahead, she discovered a man watching her with an eager gaze, his eyes reflecting lust.

"Sir, who are you? What am I doing here?" she cried, dazed.

"I found a little wolf who wants to mate. I brought you here so no one would interrupt us. You're a delight." Her words were laden with lasciviousness as she ran her tongue over his lips, "I'm going to taste you to my heart's content, my beautiful."

"Sir, please don't hurt me!" pleaded Lucia, the palpable fear in her voice echoing through the old shack. She crawled and huddled in the corner of the sofa, her eyes searching for a way to escape.

The man smiled wickedly at her pleas, grabbed her feet and pulled her to him, leaving her helpless. Lucia, seized with terror, struggled, hitting the wolf's chest hard.
