ALPHA LEO'S POV
As Rita and I walked to our room, I could not help but think amount what she had in mind. She told the pack elders that she was going to get me a new mate, but that could not be it, right? Because, if she was really planning on getting me a new mate, we would have to leave this pack now. If she tries to disagree, I'll kidnap and take us out of the pack. "What do you have in mind?" I asked her, I was tired of trying to guess what was going on in her head.
"The best way to get you a mate. We have to find the most suitable she-wolf for-"
"Hold on." I have her a small smile. "You're joking, right?"
She shifted her gaze from me and I followed it, my eyes completely fixed on hers. "You're not really thinking of getting me a new mate, are you?"
"I told the pack elders that I will get you one."
"And I thought you only said that to buy is time and not because you meant it. What do you mean by you want to get me a new mate? I can't live without you and you know it." Her eyes fell to the ground. "An Alpha getting a..." Her voice trailed off. She took in a deep breath and tried saying the words again. "An Alpha getting a mistress is not a new thing. In this case, you need one. If not, Luke and Tyler's plan will work and you will no longer be Alpha."
My heart squeezed in pain as soon as she mentioned Luke's name. I was still Alpha, so I sent them out of my mansion as soon as possible. They were only to step foot into this mansion when the day came for me to present the she-wolf that will be my new Luna to the pack elders and that was in two days time.
"This is probably a sign for us to leave the pack like we initially planned to. I promise you a good life at the human world if you want to live there. Do you want good food or a luxurious lifestyle? You will get all of it when we get to the human world like we initially planned. I have enough money to serve for generations even if each generation decides not to work and live a luxurious lifestyle."
"I'm not saying you don't have enough. I don't want you to stop being the Alpha. I don't want us to leave the pack with our heads bowed while Luke and Tyler become Alphas. I know how much you love this pack. The last thing I will do is to let you let go of this pack." She looked away. Knowing that she was trying her best not to cry in front of me, I closed the distance between the both of us and I hugged her. "The last thing I will ever do, is to let you go." She tried pulling away from me, but I did not let her do so. I held her close.
"Alpha, you would not be the first Alpha that will get a mistress and you won't be time last," she said and I could not help but feel disappointed at her words. Why on earth will she encourage me to cheat on her? This was not my Rita.
"They don't just want me to get a mistress. The want me to get another Luna. And if I get a new Luna, that automatically means that you're not my Luna again. I will have to reject you and that is the last thing I will ever do." I pulled her closer and kissed her lips. "I love you too much."
Rita looked up to my face. Her eyes were teary now, "I love you too," she replied and I beamed. "Then, that settles it. We are going to the human world and-"
"Going to the human world?" Rita frowned. "We are not doing such. We will stay back and you will remain the Alpha of this pack."

"I don't want any other she-wolf. You're not getting one for me like you plan on doing" I brought my mouth to her car and whispered. "You're the only she-wolf I want this close to me." "Alph-"
"Leo," I quickly corrected. "You're my Luna and you will forever be my Luna. Nobody else will."
She placed her head on my chest. "I don't want you to lose your position because of me. If we go to the human world, I will never be happy knowing fully well that you use to be the Alpha, but you had to leave, because of me. If you love me, you won't force me to come with you to the human world."
Leo held my hand and smiled at me. "Fine. I won't force you, but I am not talking to any other she-wolf but you. We have to find a way to outsmart the pack elders."
"The problem is how we are going to do so. Those pack elders are watching us. I am hundred percent sure that Tyler and Luke are watching us too."
I grinned and looked down at her lips. "We can try to make another pup, before the day comes."
"This is a serious situation," My mate said, trying hard to keep a straight face. She even her lower lip to stop herself from laughing and I smiled to myself.
"I am right though. We should just be in each other's arms throughout till the day comes for me to present a new Luna. Instead, I'll be presenting a pup."
Rita finally let herself laugh. "You're crazy. They would kick us out of this place."
I grinned.
"I have a better plan though," Rita said and I raised an eyebrow, eager to hear what she had to say. "Since they want a she-wolf presented to them, we will give them one. Just that she will be your fake fiancee and we would use that to buy enough time for ourselves." 2/2
