"What did you just call my mate?" Leo snarled. He stood up on his feet and prowled toward Sebastian who was now on his knees.

The pack elder sat down and Leo sauntered back to his throne and sat on it.
"If any of you have any matter to table before me, I urge you to do so in a respectful manner. If you don't, I promise to not use anything other than a silver bullet." Everywhere went still and Leo relaxed on his throne. Then, he turned to the pack elders. "What do you all have to talk to me about?"
They exchange glances, none bold enough to face Alpha Leo and talk to me.
"You all are wasting my time." He glanced at Taylor before turning back to the pack elders. "I have pressing issues to take of."
One of the pack elders finally summoned the courage to talk. "We're not here to disrespect anybody," He began. "We are just here to keep to the pack rules." The pack elder glanced at me, before going ahead to continue talking. "According to the pack's rules and regulations, if if the Luna is unable to provide a heir, the Alpha must get another mate that can give the pack a heir. In the presence of a qualified rival, if the Alpha refuses to get another mate, he will lose his Alpha position to the qualified rival. Qualified in the sense that the rival is of Alpha blood." "There was a meeting amongst the pack elders and we feel you should get another mate for the sake of this pack. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the current Luna, but this pack needs a heir and we need someone who can give us one." "And how do you know that the current Luna cannot give you a heir? How are you certain that I need a new mate? Are you trying to tell your Alpha that his choice was a bad one?"
"I dare not, but if you don't keep to the rules, our job is to make sure you get reprimanded for breaking any of the pack's rules. You might think that as Alpha, you have the final say in tons of things, but we play a little role in your decision making and a big role in keeping you as Alpha." The pack elder glanced at Taylor. "We also want to know why she was dragged in here."
"Taylor," Alpha Leo called out. "Tell them why you are here." Alpha Leo began to caress his gun and immediately Taylor opened her mouth to talk.
"I was sent to poison and kill the Luna's unborn child and the future Alpha of this pack," Taylor confessed and murmurs broke out from amongst the pack elders.
"Who sent you to kill the Luna's pup?" The pack elder that had summoned the courage to talk to the Alpha on behalf of the other pack elders asked.

Another pack elder stood up to talk. "Sebastian was the one who poisoned your mate's pregnancy. However, he gave an evidence suggesting that the Luna might be unable to give the pack a heir. He committed a heinous crime, but his proofs are still true." Many other elders nodded in in agreement.
"Well, there is no other you're forgetting something. Or, didn't your mate tell you that he had two other brothers?"

"I'm here to claim the throne," Tyler announced and my heart sank. Was my mate going to lose his throne because of me? Alpha Leo scoffed. "You're a twin. You can't take my position without your twin and we both know whose side Luke is on." Tyler smirked. "I doubt it," He said and at that moment, Luke walked in.
"My twin brother, Tyler and I are here to claim the throne."
