Chapter 85

I was pregnant?

A few weeks ago, I was told that my womb was poisoned. How was I pregnant now?

"I don't understand," I said shock. During these days, that was not a new word.

"How can I be pregnant? I thought my womb was poisoned."

"Well you're pregnant now." Alpha Leo hugged me. He was the best thing that has ever happened to me. I hugged him back. "I told you everything will be okay."

I knew moonrage to be disease that made werewolves lose control. I once had a neighbor whose child had it. I was seven at the time. Nobody knew until one day, while we were all playing, the child bit one of our playmate. He became unaware and totally animalistic and from that day henceforth, he remained that way until he was finally killed.

I just got to know that it was genetic and was in Beta Darius' lineage. It skipped ten generations and his generation was the last to be blessed to never express the gene. If he had pups, only one out of ten of those pups will be the carrier. The trait in the others will be dominant.

This was the reason he refused to have pups with Janice and he explained everything to her.

I had no idea what conclusion they had agreed on, but Janice seemed happier now, so perhaps they was a way forward for the both of them.

Aunt Freya on the other hand was living happily with me. She talked gibberish some times, but she is undergoing treatment with her friend, the pack healer, so hopefully she will be healed soon

Iheaved a sigh of relief. It was time for me to count my blessings and I was not ready to stop doing so.

The only problem at hand was to find Mr. Rio and get rid of Tyler's threat for good.
