“Hello, Anglia. Nice to see you again.” Gavin said with a disturbing smile.

I stare at the old man in complete shock. He can’t be Tatrous Askin! He was so nice to me since I first met him at the airport.

“Your Tatrous?” I question.

“Who else would I be?” He asks with an amused smile.

“Gavin,” I mumbled under my breath.

Tatrous just flick his hand for me to follow him. William push me forward as I felt something drop into the palms of my hand. I glance back at William but he kept a straight face. We made our way up to metal steps after Tatrous. It was like a mad scientist lab and a man cave mix together in here. Tatrous casual pointed to a chair before moving to sit behind his desk. William push me down into the seat before taking a step back.

“I’ve been watching you Anglia and I think you are a good prize. I would like to offer you a job to work for me.” He said leaning back in his seat.

“How about no,” I told him working on the handcuffs.

“I want you to come willing, but if I have to I’ll use compulsion.”

That’s when headmistress Haven walks up the steps. I glare at her as she walks over to her husband. She smiled at me sitting on the corner of the desk facing me. I stare right back showing her that I’m not afraid of a little compulsion.

“I’ll be only asking this question one more time Anglia. Will you come work for me?” Tatrous ask me breaking my staring contest with Haven.

“Then this must be the last time I tell you no,” I said before standing up quickly from the chair.

William was on top of me in no time, but I grab him by his arm before pushing him over the rail. It was about a ten-foot fall, but I made sure he could land on his feet. I turn just in time to block a punch from Haven. I kick her in the stomach before grabbing her head kneeing it. She only stumbled a few inches away from me before regaining her balance. With her being a vampire she was quick to grab my hair pulling me to her. She pulls my neck to the side to expose my skin before sinking her teeth in. My eyes glaze over in pleasure as the endorphins flow through my body. As soon as her teeth snuck in they flew right back out. She pushes me to the ground yelling in disgust.

“Her blood taste truly disgusting.” She said to her husband.

“I told you that she’s a rare breed,” Tatrous told her.

I tried to clear my mind as I sit up from the floor. The next thing I know I’m hanging in the air. I look down to see Tatrous holding me by my throat. I tried fighting him off but I was still a little woozy from the bite.

“We’re just waiting for you dear.”

“Oh, yeah.” She walks over looking me straight in the eye.

“Keep eye contact with me Anglia.” She said in this soft voice.

I tried looking away from here but she had me.

“Good, you are now working for Tatrous Askin and me. You will listen and do whatever we tell you to do. You’re under our control now,Do you understand?” She asks me.

I nod my head slowly and stop scramble in Tatrous hold. Tatrous let me go stepping back next to his wife. I look between both of them respectably before laying my eyes on Tatrous.

“Anglia!” A voice yelled.

We all turn to find Daniel, Sasha, and Bambi standing at the bottom of the steps. They look at us in astonishment as I turn to face them with a frown. Tatrous shook his head walking over to his desk. Daniel look at me with relief taking a step towards me.

“The Anglia you’ll know isn’t there anymore.” Tatrous casually told them.

“What is he talking about Anglia?” Bambi ask me.

“Finish them off and meet me at Reborn Academy,” Tatrous said before walking off.

“Have fun,” Haven said before following after Tatrous.

I walk down the steps slowly with a smile on my face.

“He’s right this is not Anglia, they must have use compulsion on her,” Sasha told them.

“They just told her to kill us, and have fun while doing it? Bambi told them.

“So, what do we do now?” Daniel asks them.

“We try not to get killed before the compulsion wears off,” Sasha said.

I step off the last step before running right at Daniel. Sasha and Bambi jump out of my way as I tackle Daniel. We both landed on the floor with me landing on top of him. I tried elbowing him in the face but he blocks my blow knocking me off of him. He tried standing up but I grab his leg pulling him down.

“Can I have some help here!” Daniel called out.

“Sorry, it’s just funny that she’s trying to kill you,” Sasha told him .

Bambi knocks me off of him using her wind power.

“How are we not suppose to hurt her if her intention is to kill us?” Daniel said dodging a punch I threw at his face.

“I think I got a plan just keep her busy Daniel. Follow me Bambi.” Sasha told him running off somewhere.

“Anglia! Fight the compulsion.” Daniel yelled at me blocking my blow to his face.

He twists my arm behind me, pushing me to the ground. I quickly flip him over me hard to the floor. I move to strike him in his head, but he dodges the blow. Flipping us over he tried to pin me to the floor by my arms. It looks him awhile, but he ends up pinning me to the floor.

“Dang, have you gotten stronger?” Daniel asks me with a huff.

“No. You were just always weak” I told him with a small smile.

“Anglia.” He said looking at me with a smile.

Right at that moment, a gentle wind knocks him off of me. I look up to see Sasha as she grabs me by my shirt dragging me over to a chair. Sasha shoved me in the chair picking up a rope before wrapping it around my body. Daniel got up from the floor right as she finished off the rope. I look over to Sasha with an annoyed look as Daniel walk over to us.

“She’s back,” Daniel told them .

“Really?” Sasha asks coming over to stand in front of me.

“I could have gotten out of your grip, but I decided to let you have your moment,” I told her with a smile.

“How you knock her out of the compulsion?” Bambi ask Daniel.

“I didn’t.” He told her with a shrugged.

“It wore off didn’t it?” Sasha asks me.

“I think so like that vampire bite did at my house. Where’s my parents?” I ask them.

“They went back to the Academy to get everyone out,” Daniel told me walking behind me to untie the ropes.

“Your dad and uncle had a feeling that Tatrous would go back there,” Bambi told me.

“Then we better get going! I told them standing up from the chair.

“You killed us we can’t go back with you,” Sasha spoke up.

“I’ll take you,” William said coming out behind the stairs.

They all jump in front of me defensively “He’s fine guys. He helps me out…sort of.” I told them.

“Huh, what made you decide to change your ways?” Sasha asks him.

“Do you really need to know why?” He asks her with a raised eyebrow.

“No.”

“Then why you ask?”

“Just a commend question they always ask the bad guys gone well.” She told him folding her arms in front of her.

“We better leave now before it’s too late.” He said looking back to me with a hint of a smile on his face before walking off.

“Ok, you guys wait until ten minutes before following after us,” I told them before following after William.

“Hey, you sure about him,” Daniel ask me.

“Yeah, I’m sure. See you later.” I told him before kissing him on the lips.

I pull away after a few more minutes before giving him a smile, before running after William.
