Raulin's Oath

Our venture occurs in a land far from all others, in a place unknown to most. It is past Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars. Past Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and many stars. It is so far, the only way of accessing this bright green planet is through a child’s dreamscape. Palidonaya was once a place readily accessible to us, once a place that was only a dream away. However, dream walking no longer seems so easy. I long to touch the lush green grass of the Land of Equus once more, to breathe the salty air of the Realm of Belamoris, and to feel the Faendell snowflakes on my eyelashes. I never would’ve thought it would be closed to me, so now all I have is the bittersweet, fading memory of a paradise I can no longer reach. All I can see are the stars in the sky, taunting me. All I feel is Palidonaya’s pull, yet She does not let me come home.
