Rapunzel's POV

The darkness around me felt comfortable as I felt familiar hands run through my hair. I sighed in content as the woman laughed. " Glad to see you're awake." Her sweet voice rang throughout my head. I opened my eyes to look at her, her dark eyes void of white shun weirdly with a sheen of the sort as the pupils, which glows brightly the less light there is.

"Come on Amima, I haven't seen you in a while. Why the form of a woman today?" She chuckled softly before kissing my forehead. "Because this is what your mom would've been doing." I sat upright and glanced at her. "How long have I been out?" She tilted her head as if thinking. "A couple of hours at most. I tried to keep you longer however this man who kept on holding your hand makes me feel weird." She explained. A man? My brows furrow in confusion as I tried to decipher who that person may be. " Don't worry little one he'll be beside you when you open your eyes. I'll see you soon, don't forget to link me." She said before disappearing in the dark. Sighing softly I willed my body to wake up. Opening my physical eyes I squinted slightly at the bright lights and turned my head to the right. There I was met with a pair of sandy eyes, framed by long lashes. Staring in awe in his eyes I felt a sudden pull, like a harsh tug, towards the person in front me. The pull so strong it began to hurt my chest intensely, tears spilled from my eyes as the man moved close. He placed his hand on my cheek softly and the pain instantly ceased. "It's okay, I'm right here." He cooed as he placed his forehead against mine, warmth filled me as I felt my hair curl in pleasure. I watched as my hair wrapped around the man softly as he gasped in surprise. His hand brushed my hair softly as he stared amazed. " Never have I seen someone so beautiful, unique and feisty." He ended with a chuckle. He moved from beside me to a stand and I actually whimpered, what the... " No worries love I'm just going to get your family." With the said he walked out the door and I felt extremely lonely. I sat up in bed and called on Amima. "What's wrong my child?" Her voice rang throughout my head. "What is wrong with me Amima. Why do I feel so connected to him?" She chuckled softly before whispering "he's the other half of me, of you, of us." The door slammed open and in came Jax barreling towards me with relief in his eyes. "Rapunzel!" He shouted jumping on my small body and wrapping me in a tight vice grip. "Jesus Jax." I gasped out as he knocked the hair out of me. "You had me worried sick you know young man." He scolded pointing at me accusingly. Rolling my eyes I pushed him off me, well tried to but gave up with a huff as he laid on my lap and hugged my waist.

Mom and Dad came to engulf me in a warm embrace as they fawned over me. "Hey guys I'm alright okay." I assured them as dad took a once over to check for injuries I guess.

"Oh honey you had us worried sick. What happened?" Mom cooed as she settled on the bed. "The doctor said he had just overworked himself and that he needed some rest." Came the velvet voice as we all turned to look at the source. There stood the coach, the guy that said I belonged to him standing there like he owned the place. "Thank you Alp- Dimitri." Mum said stumbling over her words as she tried to cover up her mistake. I peered at her curiously as she avoided my questioning glare. "Don't worry about it Moya, it's my duty to." Dimitri replied and the became a little tense, a loc of my hair wrapping around Jax's wrist tightly as I look between my parents and Dimitri they seem to be having a conversation between themselves with their eyes. The clearing of someone's throat snapped everyone from their dazed state. "Dylan it's great to see you up so soon." The bright but calm voice of the man wearing a lab coat lit up the room releasing a little tension as he continued to speak ignoring the three standing close by. "Okay Dylan I'm going to ask you a few questions...." He trailed off as he saw the man boy latched unto my waist with his face buried in my side his eyes went directly towards Dimitri where they stayed for a moment before he turned his attention back to me. "How are you feeling?" He asked cheerfully I looked at him blank, these bitches are crazy. Shaking my head I shimmed from Jax's hold and slid off the bed successfully. "I know what's wrong, it's already sorted out." I replied as I walked towards the door, I can feel that my family are hiding something from me and I bet it's got to do with the tall wall of muscles everyone seemed so afraid of. I walked a few feet in front him close enough for a proper conversation but far enough to see his face. "What are you?" His breath hitched for a millisecond before he spoke. "I'm something not human but something human." He replied the thought rolled around in my head before Amima interjected. "He's like your parents and brother sweetie " I pointed at them behind me with my thumb "like them." I stated listening to the gasp of my mom. "Yes love." He replied reaching out to caress my cheek with his thumb. My hair coiled in pleasure as the jolts of electricity from where he touched ignited my body. I watched as he stared on in fascination as my hair defied gravity and floated around us. "Beautiful." He whispered as a warm smile spread across his lips. I could feel the contentment of Amima as she manifested herself in the strands of my hair and wrapped herself gently around his arm. "I think Amima likes you." I giggled out as I felt her nodding vigorously in my mind. He chuckled softly before using his free hand to caress the hair wrapped around him. "I like him too." He replied staring deep in my eyes. I gasped slightly as my heart began to pound mercilessly as one word ran through my head Soulmate.
