Thank you.
Recap
Madrid ran his fingers over my collar bone and tilted his head. He ran his hand over my face and stepped back. “You made a full body invisible suit?” He asked. I nodded. “Yes! I can’t wait to show the brass this one. Can it be cut off?” I shook my head no. “Hot damn! You are a special woman, Cat. I can’t wait to see what else you come out with.”
“What we come up with, Madrid. Sophia and I will be working on projects together,” I told him, crossing my arms over my chest, my back straight.
Madrid jumped up and down, clapping his hands. “Yes! I can’t wait. Do you have anything else ready or close to being ready?” I nodded and he whooped and hollered. I hadn’t seen Madrid act as if he were a child in a long time, well, not since my last creation - the suits we were all wearing.
“Cat, you need to come here,” Martim calmly told me. I turned on my heel and ran over to Martim. He pointed at the twins and turned up the volume.
“Who the hell is attacking us, shit-head!” The cartel leader asked, a furious look on his face, his fists clenched hard enough to cause them to whiten.
Cats POV
“It’s not the girls and whoever is with them. I believe it’s the cartel leader of Peru,” the idotic hacker answered, a visibly shaken idiotic hacker.
“Scan the faces now!” The enforcer yelled at the man.
The hacker started scanning faces and saving them into his computer. He kept scanning until the enforcer told him to stop. “It is the Peru cartel. What in the hell is going on?”
“I thought we were cool with them,” the cartel leader commented, his hands clenched into fists. “Pull up our arms and get ready for war.”
I looked at Martim and saw him smile. “I disabled his arms. I used an old wifi of mine to do it. I didn’t want them to be able to trace it back to us. It’s one out of Peru-”
“-I love you! You are a genus!” I exclaimed, realizing what I said but not really caring. I smiled at Martim. I wanted him to know I meant it and it wasn’t just something I had yelled in excitement. He was my everything. He was the air I breathed. He was the beat my heart danced to. He was the light my soul was attracted to.
“I love you too, but how about we get back to the idiots. It seems as the Peru cartel thinks their cartel stole some money from them,” Martim confessed, a smirk on his face.
It took a minute for me to realize what he said, Madrid and my parents right behind me. “What do you mean?”
“I hid some of Peru Carte’s money somewhere and made it look as if the twins did it, or more like their hacker did it,” he explained, all of us laughing at his brilliant plan. “I figured it would thin out the herd, but maybe just maybe the twins would die, too.”
I nodded and watched on the screen. The hacker was setting his artillery up to fire on the men of Peru. He matched everyone he saw with a different kind of death. Some would blow up while others would be shot in the head. It was a brilliant plan if it wasn’t for us controlling the weaponry. I made sure to match up the arillary to the twins men and the twins themselves.
Surprise fuckers!
The jokes on you all
I rubbed my hands together and we watched everyone readying for battle. I felt a little as if I was on cloud nine and couldn’t wait to see these fuckers go down. I could tell Martim was a little giddy, too. I had to hand it to my mate his plan was ingenious - one I hadn’t thought of.
“I don’t understand why they are wanting to fight us. We have been on friendly terms with them,” the enforcer gritted out.
The hacker pulled up the cartel leader’s face and zoomed in on it. “He doesn’t look like he cares about being on friendly terms, sir.”
The enforcers hand moved quickly and decisively as he slapped his hacker. “No one asked for your two cents. You have one job to do and that is to line up our weapons on their targets. I didn’t have someone steal these weapons, at a hefty cost to her life - might I add, for them to sit dormant.”
I gasped and pulled my laptop to me and rewound the security footage of my weapons room. I had to know what he said was true. I had to know if it was the idiot woman again. Yes, idiot. She should know to never steal from me or the U.S. government. I looked at each and every frame until I caught movement at the door. She had a mask and gloves on but I made sure to match her up on my screen of suspects. Madrid gasped and I nodded my head. He wanted another one of my inventions. It pinged on her picture and I hissed.
“She’s going to pay for stealing from me,” I hissed and clenched my fist. I didn’t want to run out of here and beat her ass.
Yet
“She’s going to pay for stealing anything from one of our facilities,” Madrid commented.
I whipped around and looked at him. “She’s mine first, Madrid. You can have her after I pound her into the ground. Don’t worry I know how to make it look as if she was trying to flee.”
The guys laughed and nodded their heads. Madrid pinched his nose and smiled. “No problem. I can’t pound her into the ground, but you definitely can. This I want to see, so..” He turned to the guys. “Someone better take a video since I can’t be there or I will have to stop it.”
“No problem,” Eagle stated, a cruel smile on his face. I shook my head at the guys but couldn’t be any happier. I was afraid Madrid would stop me. He would have to find us first, but I was happy he gave me permission - of a sort.
“The party is about to start. I don’t think anyone wants to miss this. Lets see if we can exterminate a few vermin,” Martim commented, a sly grin on his face. I laughed and kissed his nose, turning my attention to the screen.
“I wish Sophia was here to see this. She would be jumping for joy,” I stated. I knew she needed her sleep, but I also knew she wouldn’t want to miss this.
“Not a problem,” Sophia commented as she walked in the main cavern and headed to the coffee pot. “Flirt thought it would be good to wake me up. I can’t wait to see this happen.”
“Hurry up then!” I exclaimed, causing her to laugh at my enthusiasm.
She got her coffee and ran over to us. The guys parted and allowed her to sit on the other side of Martim, Firash joining her. She was just in time to hear the cartel leader give the order to fire. I watched the screen as the twins’ men were cut down. I could see the incredulous looks on their faces at the same time as they knocked the hacker to the floor.
“What have you done? You were supposed to target their men not ours!” The cartel leader screamed as he punched the hacker again.
The hacker spit out a couple of teeth and held his hands up. “I didn’t do this. You saw me target their faces and lock them in. Someone else did this, sir,” the hacker explained.
“Or the weapons were a plant as well as the technology,” the enforcer stated, his brother turning to him. You could tell he was angry. His fists were clenched hard enough to cause blood to drip from them. His jaw was set as he gritted his teeth. His face was flushed.
“We are going to have to take care of this another way. Suit up, brother, it’s time for war,” the cartel leader ordered. They turned on their heels and walked into their office.
I saw them sign to each other. “They are saying; ‘we need to put on our suits quickly and get out there. We need to find the cartel leader of Peru and take his head.’” I looked at the other twins’ hands. “He’s saying; ‘We need to find him fast. Maybe we can settle this problem. But, if not...We end him and his right-hand man. Hurry, brother’”
We watched them, well, Martim and the guys watched them while Sophia’s and my eyes were covered by our mates. I wanted to roll my eyes at Martim’s actions but I understood where he was coming from. I would have killed any female who thought they could strip in front of my mate.
Martim’s hand was removed from my eyes and I turned to glare at him, but my face softened at his next action. He gave me a sizzling kiss and turned my head back to the screen. My mind had gone to mush. The man knew how to kiss. I wanted more of them, but I turned back to the screen to watch what was going was about to happen.
The twins were sneaking down the steps. They stopped in front of a wall for some reason but I instantly knew what was going on. They had pulled from our play-book. I watched as the enforcer hit two spots on the wall then pushed his hand in the middle of the wall. The wall parted and I could see they were outside of the compound. It was a good plan, but I wanted to see where they were outside of the compound. I wanted to remember the doorway and I needed landmarks.
The twins walked between two rocks and ended up behind the cartel leader of Peru. The Peru leader was barking out orders to his men. I caught what he said at the same time the twins did. Well, shit! There goes our plan for death and destruction before our plans of death and destruction.
“What do you mean we stole money from you?” The twin leader yelled out. He was in so many crosshairs it was unreal. Every person around the Peru leader had their guns trained on them.
“You stole money from us!” The Peru leader screamed, his face flushed with anger, his fists balled up.
