Chapter 98
Chapter 98
Elizabeth was so nervous and scared stiff. Her heart was beating so fast as if it would come out of her chest. She looked at Henry and wished to pounce on him and scratch him to death. This bastard!
“That’s not true.” “That’s not true.” Elizabeth and Henry spoke at the same time.
However, Henry was one step ahead of her. “Andrew, you’ve misunderstood. This isn’t a reunion. I’m just saying goodbye to my past. No matter why Liz married you, she’s your wife now. Even if I can’t let go, I’ll still give her my blessings.”
“Again?” Andrew leaned against the door with his long legs curled up. He crossed his arms lazily and stared at Henry, who was pretending to be soft. He smiled evilly. “You’re a man. Why do you act like an angelic bitch?
“Or did you just find out you are a woman inside?”
“What?” Elizabeth felt relieved somehow. It was hard to explain. Was Andrew’s second personality taking over because of anger now? But that didn’t feel right. This personality was a violent hooligan. He would choose to hit than to talk.
“If humiliating me can soothe you, you can do whatever you want. Henry smiled snugly and touched his lips with his fingers. “After all, Liz had given me many precious memories. It’s only right for you to be angry.”
“You are shameless.” Elizabeth could not take it anymore. “I admit that I was the one who pursued you back then. It was a drama. But as you said, I was young. Who didn’t fall for scumbags when they were young? But no one will love a scum forever, nor will they give up a life for a scum.”
Elizabeth walked straight to Andrew and held his arm. “Yes, I married Andrew because I had no choice.
“However, after knowing each other better, we realized we were meant to be together. Now you are trying to alienate him from me by irritating him, but that only shows how much he cares about me.
“Henry, the harder you try, the more we love each other. Get it?”
“Is that so?” Henry looked at Elizabeth sadly. “How can you forget our past so quickly? I…”
Thunk. Andrew kicked him to the ground.
“Cut the nonsense. You want me to hit you in front of Grandpa? You got it.”
He shook his head with a smile and said maliciously, “So what? Do you expect Grandpa to hate me for this? Dream on.”
Henry, whose thoughts had been seen through, instantly became fierce. “You can’t be superior forever!”
“I can and I will be.”
Andrew shrugged. He walked back and held Elizabeth’s waist. He pecked her cheek and said, “According to the doctor, even if Grandpa wakes up, it’s better not to switch the ward.
There are already rumors outside. I might be a little busy these days. It’s been hard on you.”
“No.” Elizabeth deliberately looked at Henry, who had already stood up and was glaring at them viciously. “Don’t we still have Henry?”
Henry looked at Andrew and Elizabeth in surprise. When he saw how close they were as if no one can tear them apart, his gaze became fiercer and fiercer.
He didn’t see that coming.
After spending so much effort recently and pretending to be affectionate for Elizabeth for so long, it only made them more faithful to each other. “Damn.”
After talking to Dr. Zayn, Andrew and Elizabeth left the hospital to get back to their own business.
Henry, who had stayed in the hospital, took this opportunity to show his regret and filial piety in front of everyone.
Of course, those in the know did not believe him, but it was inevitable that a few medical staff would change their opinion of him.
That evening, Mr. Hayes woke up. The first thing he wanted was to transfer to a private hospital.
“What the hell are you thinking?” Mr. Hayes glared at Henry angrily. “Over the private doctor at home and the private hospital of our own, you chose to send me to such a place?
Have you thought about how rumors will spread about Hayes Group? Do you know that this will cause the stock price to
fluctuate?!”
Henry stood obediently by the bed with his head lowered. “I’m sorry, Grandpa. I was too worried and didn’t think too much.”
“You didn’t think too much?” Mr. Hayes looked at him mockingly. “I think you’re thinking a lot. Otherwise, this wouldn’t have happened.

Henry, let me tell you one more time. Don’t have unreasonable expectations for things that don’t belong to you. Be careful what you wish for.”
Although Mr. Hayes’s tone was not harsh, these words were enough to make Henry collapse.
“Grandpa!” His voice was hoarse. “You’ve really misunderstood me. I didn’t think that much. I just wanted to send you to the hospital as soon as possible. It’s my fault for pissing you off. I just wanted to make up for it.”
“No need.” Mr. Hayes interrupted him. “If you really want to make it up to me, go and pack my things. I want to go home.”
The nurse who was about to leave after checking on Mr. Hayes could not help but say something.
She stood in front of Henry and said unhappily, “Sir, your grandson has been very worried for the past few days. He’s here to accompany you every day. Look at how haggard he is. Don’t scold him.”
Mr. Hayes looked at the beautiful nurse in surprise, then looked at Henry, whose head was buried even deeper. He shook his head in disappointment. “As expected, you always play dirty.”
Henry looked up and waved at the nurse sadly. “You can leave now. Grandpa has a deep misunderstanding of me.”
The nurse looked at Mr. Hayes indignantly and went to the nurse’s station.
Over there, a few reporters were waiting.
The nurse wanted to defend Henry, so she told the reporters about Mr. Hayes’s illness.
About three to four hours later, the news began to spread like wildfire online. It’s said that there was a huge upheaval in the Hayes Group. Mr. Hayes was in the hospital, and his descendants were fighting for the inheritance.
This news added to Andrew’s burden and kept him working for days, therefore the reporters took photos of him staying in the company and not visiting his Grandpa in the hospital.
And so the news kept changing. It’s said Andrew was the one to piss Mr. Hayes off, and Henry stayed with Mr. Hayes all the
time to take care of him.
The news was blocked from Mr. Hayes, of course.
He didn’t know what was going on, but he still insisted on being transferred. After all, his years of experience told him that he had to be out there to settle things down at this time.
In the end, the news of Mr. Hayes being discharged was spread by someone.
Many reporters blocked the entrance of the hospital and were accidentally seen by Mr. Hayes. He found out about the
rumors anyway.
“I underestimated him. He would do anything to achieve his goal. What he did was simply harming others without benefiting himself. What do you think he wants?”
Mr. Hayes held Elizabeth’s hand. His old face was filled with sadness. “Liz, don’t let him ruin what you have with Andrew, Okay?”
Don’t let him steal you away from Andrew.
