Chapter 86
Chapter 86 Changing Rooms
Sophia placed her hand on her chest, visibly relieved. "Mom, you're not going to leave again, are you? Without you, I feel like I can't handle it."
"I'm not going anywhere. I'll help you secure Mrs. Reed's position," Grace said, her eyes shifting before asking, "About what you mentioned last time, Nathan wanting to reconcile with Emily, what's the story there?" As soon as the topic was broached, Sophia was filled with frustration.
"What else could it be? It's just because Emily is attractive! I don't know if she had plastic surgery after her divorce, but she's completely transformed. Ever since Nathan saw Emily, he's been distant with me."
Grace's expression softened slightly. "If it's just because she's good-looking, you don't have to worry too much. Men are fickle, it's not surprising."
"But, Mom, you don't understand, he's been acting like he's enchanted lately. I don't know what spell Emily has put on him, he keeps thinking about her."
Grace thought for a moment, sighing.
She spoke earnestly to Sophia, "Don't worry, listen to me. When dealing with men, women should use gentle methods. You can't just argue with him directly. It'll only make him think you have a bad temper and make Emily seem gentle in comparison. In the future, you have to be gentle with him, even if he goes to see Emily, you have to understand. Occasionally, you should speak up for Emily too, make him think you're a kind girl."
Sophia was reluctant as soon as she heard this. "I've tried this method before. But I'm pregnant, my emotions and temper are out of control, I'm always quick to anger."
"Then endure a little more, it won't hurt to be angry after the child is born. I can help you deal with Carol, but you have to work hard to win Nathan's heart."
Sophia nodded. "I understand."
They chatted for a while before going downstairs together.
No one had cooked lunch, and in the end, it was Nathan who spoke up, "Let's go to the restaurant."
Grace had no objections, and Logan Morgan naturally agreed as well.
They drove together to a restaurant, passing by the Hilton Hotel.
Suddenly, Herry spoke, "Mom, I want to eat here!"
Grace advised him, "Herry, be good, today Nathan is treating us, let's all listen to Nathan."
"No! I want to eat here! It looks nice here!"
The entire building of the Hilton Hotel was in Romanesque architecture, with a large fountain in front. There were security personnel in uniforms stationed around, giving it a grand appearance. Logan Morgan said, "Since he wants to eat here, let's eat here then. Nathan, what do you think?"
Nathan drove, "I'm fine with it."
"Then let's eat here," Logan Morgan decided.
They chose a relatively quiet private room and ordered a few signature dishes here.
While waiting for the food, Herry was bouncing around on the table and accidentally knocked over a vase.
The waiter rushed in upon hearing the commotion, "Sir, this vase is an antique passed down from the Middle Ages, you see..."
"We'll pay, how much?" Logan Morgan said, reaching for his wallet.
The waiter gave a figure.
Logan Morgan pulled out a card from his wallet without hesitation.
Nathan, watching from the side, chuckled softly. "Is Herry Sophia's brother?"
"Yes," Logan Morgan said proudly, "I'm grooming him to be a basketball star."
Grace laughed, "My son has good
fusical strength, he's agile. In theet
he'll definitely become a
basketball star."
Crash-
It's the sound of shattered mirrors.
Herry grabbed the ashtray and threw it directly at the mirror. The entire wall of the private room was made of mirrors, which now shattered into pieces with a crashing sound.

"Oh my God..." Carol covered her chest and hid behind Nathan, her face turning pale. Sophia was startled too. "Mom, what do we do..."
"Waiter!" Logan Morgan impatiently frowned and called out, "Get us another room!" The waiter, looking at the mess on the ground, was unsure how to react for a moment. She had worked at the hotel for several years and had never seen such a child before.
"I said we would compensate. Quickly get us another room, hurry up!"
The waiter apologized, "I'm sorry, sir, all our rooms are fully booked, this is the only one available..."
"Then ask other guests to leave," Logan Morgan snapped impatiently, "We can pay more." The waiter was hesitant. "But..."
"My son is dining here. If you say another word, I'll call your manager and have you fired on the spot!" With no other option, the waiter left.
Meanwhile, in another small private room, Emily was having lunch.
Satan said the salad here was good, so he brought her here to try it.
Satan sat next to her, smiling at her.
Emily chuckled softly. "Don't worry, I'll finish it."
"Good," Mr. Satan nodded, "Our baby can feel your love."
Just then, there was a knock on the door.
A waiter came in, looking apologetic. "Sir, madam, im sorry. The adjacent room has been damaged, and all other rooms in our hotel are fully occupied. Since there are only two of you could you please vacate this room? I've arranged the best spot for you in the lobby. It's located by the window, where you can see the nice view outside."
