Notice Me Darling! by Cheap Treasure ( Natalie Shepherd ) Chapter 30
Chapter 30 The Biggest Threat to You
Harry had told her Henry’s ward room number. After Natalie arrived at the hospital, she headed straight to his ward.
When she reached the ward, she realized the door was slightly ajar.
Just as she was about to knock, what was happening inside caught her attention.
Henry was lying on his side in the bed. All Natalie could see was his back. But at the edge of his bed, she spotted Juliet sitting there.
At that moment, Juliet was looking at him with affection. She even tidied his hair.
In that split second, Natalie almost cried because she thought she had done. something foolish again.
How could she have thought Henry threw a fit and refused treatment because of her? There was no way he would think that she was more important than his health.
After all, she was not significant enough. Natalie reckoned that he had put on such an act because he had a little fight with Juliet.
Since Juliet was already there, he would surely accept the treatment without fuss. Perhaps both of them had already made up.
Natalie retracted her gaze and mumbled, “Natalie Shepherd, don’t think so highly of yourself next time. This is really embarrassing. You look like a joke.”
After regaining her composure, she took out her phone and found a contact number.
It was a lawyer’s contact that Leslie had passed to her.
Leslie had told Natalie to save the number in case she needed it. The lawyer specialized in divorce cases.
Moreover, Natalie had heard that he had an 80% success rate. She did not want things to come to this point.
However, it seemed like this was her only option now.
She dialed the number. Someone answered the call in no time. “Hello.”
“Hello, is this Mr. Parker?” Right then, Natalie appeared determined.

Meanwhile, inside Henry’s ward, he had just dozed off. He had been awake the whole night, so he was exhausted.
He was still in a daze when he felt someone stroking his face gently.
From his memory, if he happened to be resting when Natalie visited, she would do the same.
So, was it Natalie who had come? Henry opened his eyes. As soon as he saw the person before him, he was utterly disappointed.
Henry grabbed Juliet by the wrist and asked coldly, “Who allowed you to enter my ward?”
“I heard you’re sick, so I came to visit you,” replied Juliet. She seemed to be in a good mood as she smiled at him.
“Oh, by the way, I made you some oatmeal. Would you like to have some?”
Juliet had already walked to the table and opened the food thermos as she spoke. But at that moment, Henry was not in the mood to have oatmeal.
He was still feeling frustrated about the divorce matter. Besides, Natalie would always be the first one by his side the moment he was sick.
But she was nowhere to be seen. Henry could not help but wonder if she was tired. of acting like a passionate lover.
With that in mind, he felt even more miserable. His tone was flat as he answered, “There’s no need for that. You can go back now.”
“I’ve gone through the trouble to make it, so have some. You used to love the oatmeal I made, don’t you?” Juliet forced herself to ignore his cold gaze.
Otherwise, she would not have the courage to stand before him.
Juliet felt like she was being punished whenever she saw how he looked at her. Yet, Henry would never know that.
“Like you said, that was in the past,” Henry responded with a straight face.” Juliet, we can be friends.
“But if you keep trying to cross the line, then I’m sorry to say that we can’t be friends ever again.”
Upon hearing his words, Juliet tightened her grip on the food thermos. It took her a lot of effort to compose herself.
“As a friend, there’s nothing wrong with making oatmeal for you, right? Come

However, Henry did not even glance at it. He simply waved his hand to push the
thermos away.
In the next second, the thermos fell to the ground. And just like that, the oatmeal Juliet made had spilled all over the floor, causing a mess,
Henry glanced at the mess indifferently. After that, he pressed the call button.” Please send someone to clean up my ward.”
Juliet pursed her lips. She was visibly upset. What Henry had knocked over was not just the oatmeal but also her affection toward him.
However, she would not grumble in front of him. “It’s okay then. I won’t disturb you now. I’m taking my leave,” she said while still smiling at Henry.
Yet, he did not respond. Juliet did not want to stay to make things awkward. Thus, she left.
She didn’t leave the hospital. Instead, she took the elevator and headed to the hospital’s rooftop.
Rooftops meant a lot to her. That was because, in the past, whenever she or Henry were unhappy, they would accompany each other to the rooftop.
Every time they came down from the rooftop, they would feel rejuvenated. It was as if they had gained new strength to face their problems.
As soon as Juliet stepped into the elevator, someone else went in. She was taken aback but did not greet the person.
After all, they were in public. She did not want other people to know about their relationship.
When they reached the rooftop, Juliet spoke first. “Thank you for telling me that he was hospitalized.”
The man standing beside her was Stanley Yates. He was a doctor at Community Care Hospital and Juliet’s childhood friend.
“You seem unhappy,” commented Stanley, fixing his gaze on her.
Juliet smiled wryly and answered, “I was the one who gave up on our relationship back then. And now, he hates me. I should bear with it.”
After she mentioned the past events, Stanley could not help but this
of Owen
and Moira. He glanced at the surroundings before saying, “I’m sorry I couldn’t help you with what you asked last time.”

On that occasion, after meeting with Owen, Juliet met up with someone else. That someone was Stanley.
The only person she could trust in that city was Stanley. Hence, she asked him for help. Juliet hoped he could get rid of obstacles for her.
And the obstacles mentioned were people who were stopping her from getting together with Henry.
Juliet flashed him a grateful smile.
“I know that some things are hard to accomplish. I’m thankful that you were willing to help me.”
Nevertheless, Stanley still blamed himself for failing. He nodded thoughtfully and analyzed the situation for her. “Right now, your biggest threat is actually Natalie. Moreover, she’s pregnant.”
Upon hearing his words, Juliet froze. She widened her eyes in disbelief. “What did you say? Natalie is pregnant?” she exclaimed.
Stanley furrowed his brows, looking surprised. “You didn’t know about this?”
Juliet clenched her fists as her expression turned serious. “I didn’t know.”
