Chapter 151
Chapter 151: Meeting Someone
Drexel POV
We must have had at least three more glasses of wine after that. At last, Steven picked up Kimberley at 1AM and walked to his room. And so did I. Penelope was sleeping in my arms, her head rested in the crook of my neck
"Drexel..." she murmured. "Why was Willow so bad with me?"
I kissed her forehead, promising myself that I will send my spies to check out Willow. I made her lie on the bed and she stretched her arms towards me. How could I resist a temptation like
that? I tucked her in a blanket and then slid beside her. She turned her back towards me in a silent invitation to curl her arm around her waist. I pulled her closer to my chest, wrapping my arm around her. Gently, I stroked her tummy, where our pup was. Or pups were. I asked them to behave and give their mommy a good time so that they may have more company in the future. A smile stretched on my lips and I couldn't help kissing my mate. With a sigh I closed my eyes. Could my life get any better than this?
We stayed with Steven and Kimberley for two more days before flying back to my pack. Steven had told me to build my own house for better privacy and that was what I was going to do
When we reached my pack, I searched for the
best architect in all of the packs that were under me and we zeroed in on Gerhardt. A werewolf who was renowned not only in our world but also amongst the humans. He charged exorbitantly but what was all the money for? Along with Penelope, we designed our own house and in two months after Penelope finalized the location, the foundations were laid
I announced to the pack that the Luna was pregnant and I was surprised how much my members loved it. There was a sort of jubilation all over. Penelope was now called in more functions than ever and I was happy that she was busy. She even overlooked everything about the house that we were building for us. She just had to name what she wanted and it was there
Penelope was three months pregnant and her
vomiting had reduced drastically. The only thing that bothered me the most was her mood swings. Sometimes she was very happy but sometimes, she was like devil reincarnated. And these were the times, when I thought that silence was my best friend
Ria had stopped coming out ever since she had learned that Penelope was pregnant. It seemed she was more protective about our pups
Penelope had coaxed me to shift into my wolf so that he could persuade her to come out, but even Wolfe wasn't able to persuade her. In the end, Wolfe was fine with Ria's decision
He didn't want to upset his mate and refused to reply to my requests after a few days. 'I can't hurt Ria. She doesn't want to shift because she feels that shifting would harm the pups. And I
fully agree with her. I will shift but not to persuade Ria.' It was as if both our wolves were holding a mutiny against our wishes
Meanwhile I started learning how to fly. The lessons took place in the human world and some time after I went for my lessons, Penelope accompanied me. It was during one of these times when she had accompanied me that she said, "I would like to shop around a little. How long do I have?" She was sipping coffee in the hotel room and viewing the scenery outside
"Why, love?" I asked as I wore my trousers
"You don't have to stress yourself. I will ask
Sarah to buy clothes for you."
She rolled her eyes. "I want to shop my clothes
here for a change, can't I?" she snapped
I jerked my head back. A second later, I said, "Of course you can!" I picked up my wallet and
gave her my card. "Here. Buy whatever you like."
Her face split into a wide grin and that made my day. Anything to keep her happy. I knew that she wouldn't be safe alone, so I decided to send two of my warriors with her. I got dressed, kissed her and left. "Don't tire yourself," I said "And if you feel hungry, don't starve my pups
Eat a lot. I would love to see you become as fat as possible. The more you are, the more I have to love."
She giggled as she swatted my chest. "Don't
worry about me, Drexel. I will be just fine."
I kissed her on her lips and after assuring myself of her love, I left for my lessons
To say that I loved the flying lessons was an understatement. I wondered why didn't I learn them before. Anyway, my instructor was an old guy in his mid-fifties and a very patient man

Thank Goddess for that. He mentioned that I was his best student so far. And I couldn't tell him that that was because I was a werewolf
Werewolves were far superior to humans in all senses
When I flew the small aircraft under his guidance, I loved the feel of it, the freedom of it
I loved how I could fly in the air. It was a
beautiful sensation!
When I returned after my flying lessons, I saw that envelope wasn't there. Worry rose in my chest because it was almost four hours since I last saw her and I immediately regretted that I allowed her to go shopping. She seemed so bored that my heart couldn't say no to it. I dug my phone from my pocket and called her. Her phone came unanswered. Worry morphed into full blown panic. Next I called my warrior who accompanied her. He picked up the phone in one ring
"Where is Penelope?" I asked as soon as he picked up
"We are at Havel's Mall. Luna is in the rooftop
restaurant. She has come to meet someone," he replied
Before I knew it, I was rushing out of the door and punching the buttons of the elevator. Our room was on the twentieth floor. I couldn't wait for the elevator to come so I banged open the door of the stairs and rushed down, taking two at a time. "Give me your location!" I barked on the phone. "And keep an eye on her. Who is she meeting?"
"I don't know," the warrior replied. "She asked us not to come in. We are standing outside the restaurant."
"Damn it!"
