Never Tired of Mr. Leon's Love

Chapter 610

Koven's observations were accurate. The general interior of Rankins was fancy yet low-key, but Matthew's private room was anything but low-key-it was outright opulent. Matthew owned only a few restaurants, but each of them had its own private room. None of them were chain establishments, and they all required reservations. Despite having private rooms available at every restaurant, Matthew rarely visited. This was only his second visit to Rankins, the first being when he was pursuing Lucy. "What would you like to eat? Feel free to order anything you want," Matthew said to both of them while the manager appeared with the menu, smiling warmly. Hudson gestured to Koven, prompting him to take the menu.

"Do you have any signature or specialty dishes here?"

The manager nodded eagerly. "Yes, we do."

"I don't need to look at the menu. Just bring us ten of your signature dishes," Koven said to the manager, closing the menu.

The manager hesitated for a moment upon hearing the order for ten dishes. He looked toward Matthew, who nodded silently. Even when he did not speak, his icy gaze was enough to send chills down the manager's spine. "Very well, sir. Would you like anything to drink?"

Hudson thought for a moment before replying, "Do you have strawberry cider? Otherwise, grape is fine too."

The manager visibly relaxed when he heard that. "Yes, we do. I'll bring it right over."

After the manager left, the three of them sat in awkward silence.

"Hudson, how's Lucy doing at your company?" Koven could not last another second in this awkward atmosphere, so he broke the ice.

"She's doing well," Hudson replied casually, unaware that Koven was trying to keep the conversation going.

"The Spades situation is probably linked to Charlotte, the princess of Charleston." Matthew finally spoke up after a long period of silence, revealing what had been on his mind.

Koven's usually cheerful expression immediately turned serious as he straightened his back and pondered.

He had underestimated Charlotte previously, which ultimately led her to threaten him. Charlotte was the prime example of not judging a book by its cover.

After a long pause, Hudson said,

"Spades is a terrifying assassin organization, so we have to tread carefully There must be some

Charlotte. Otherwise, they wouldn't target you and Lucy for no reason."

Just then, there was a knock on the door.

Matthew glanced over and said, "Come in."

As soon as the door swung open, Matthew was in shock.

"Charlie? What are you doing here?" Matthew looked at him curiously.

"Charlie?" Koven muttered the familiar name under his breath and looked at Hudson. Hudson smiled at Charlie, but Charlie did not meet his gaze.

"I was having dinner here and heard from the manager that you were here too, so I decided to drop by. I hope I'm not intruding," Charlie replied with a smile as he looked at the three of them. FindNovel

Matthew's face lit up with a rare smile when he saw Charlie.

"It's been so long since I last saw you. Have a seat. We were just about to have dinner."

Charlie nodded and took a seat.

"Hello, I'm Hudson," Hudson introduced himself and shook hands with Charlie.
