Never Tired of Mr. Leon's Love

Chapter 609

"Should we go out for a meal?" Koven looked at Matthew and Hudson expectantly.

Rolling his eyes at Koven, Matthew turned to say to Hudson instead, "Sure, let's go." Hudson and Koven exchanged looks before following behind Matthew.

Matthew stopped by Lucy's door and looked at her. Since she was still busy working, he did not want to disturb her. He proceeded to take the others out for a meal.

Lucy glanced at the clock and realized it was already way past five, but she was still not satisfied with her initial draft. She decided to finish it up before having dinner, fearing she might lose her inspiration if she paused midway. The upcoming Hype and Elegance Fashion Show was really important to her. If it went well, she could potentially be the lead designer. Otherwise, she would have to keep trying harder.

Lucy was designing a pastel dress with trumpet sleeves. It was cinched at the waist with a black belt to accentuate the model's figure. The skirt had a slight pleating at the hem that shimmered under the light.

The dress looked promising, but Lucy wanted to perfect it. After setting the basic outline of the garment, she decided to add a little something to it.

...

Meanwhile, Matthew brought Hudson and Koven to Rankins.

"Are you sure you want to eat here? The last time I was here, I stood in line for the entire day and still couldn't get in. It's always so packed!" Although Koven was eager to try this place, he was discouraged by the long queues. Matthew simply smirked at him before leading the way inside.

The restaurant manager had been waiting at the entrance long ago thanks to Kent, who had informed him that Matthew would be coming today. Otherwise, he would have been in hot water!

"Fine, let's just stand in line! It's better than not getting any food!" Koven dragged Hudson along reluctantly.

Seeing Matthew approaching, the restaurant manager hurried forward to greet him.

"Mr. Leon, welcome! Your private room is ready for you."

"Alright," Matthew responded coolly before entering.

Hudson, who was following behind was not surprised to hear that, but Koven was shocked. He quickly caught up to Matthew and said,

Say's

"Matthew, if this was your restaurant, why didn't you say so earlier? I wasted so much time queueing up all the times before!

You're so cruel!"

Matthew stopped in his tracks and said, "I don't think we even knew each other back then!"

Hudson nearly burst out laughing while Koven angrily pouted and placed his hands on his hips. He fixed a glare at Matthew.

"Alright, let's keep moving. Feel free to come here anytime you want from now on," Matthew said dismissively as he continued walking ahead.

Rankins was as busy as ever.

Reservations were always needed, and many influential and affluent people frequented this place. After learning that Matthew owned the restaurant, it attracted even more customers who hoped to catch a glimpse of him someday

However, their wishes were seldom fulfilled as he rarely visited.

Once inside the private room, Matthew took his usual seat. The grandeur of the room left Koven exclaiming, "Is this a palace or what? I thought the restaurant was fancy enough, but I didn't expect your private room to be even fancier. Clearly, there are perks to being rich."
