Necromancer Supreme System

Chapter 47: Striking A Big Deal with the Guild

Ibro's expression wasn't revealing anything about his feelings, on the contrary to the man who was now shocked beyond measure.

"Are you sure?" the man named Regil asked.

"Pretty sure, why is there anything wrong?" Ibro asked.

"If you mean our Lady Sefiera, then you should know a lot already, right? You should know what's wrong in asking such question and request as you did, right?"

Ibro felt the great stress and nervousness of that man, and opposite to Regil's expectations, Ibro had a calm face appearing on his face. That sharp reaction meant he would have a lot of info about her ready in no time.

"Let's start over, from the start, Mr. Regil. I want every and each single info regarding Lady Sefiera, and I want them now, the old and already known knowledge, plus all the future knowledge about here, plus I want to issue a search request, to look out for her, if that's possible to do."

Ibro's words were precise, and Regil, despite being shocked, returned to his seat, filled up everything Ibro said in the paper in front of him, before he set it ablaze. The fire ate the paper, with no smoke at all, or any ash remained.

Ibro just watched this calmly, without speaking a word, just like Regil, who wasn't speaking either.

The two remained silently watching each other, without speaking until a fire appeared again, suddenly, just in the same place the paper disappeared, as it reappeared again.

Regil took it, inspected it for a few moments, then he sighed.

"I'm so unfortunate to inform you we can't accept your offer unless you pay a hefty price in advance," Regil said, as he was thinking it was foolish to turn Ibro down. Regil wanted, like anyone in the guild, like many humans in human worlds, to seek for Sefiera and rescue her, but no one had the courage to even seek for her news openly, without a proper reason.

And getting paid for that was such a nice excuse, suited for them and would enable them to act without any reservations, as all the blame would befall over Ibro, not them.contemporary romance

Ibro, on the other hand, seemed to be surprised with this, but not disappointed. Just before Regil could open his mouth again, Ibro just sneered, took out one of his runes and put it on the interface of the market. "Is this enough payment in advance?" he said, in a challenging tone.

"This…" Regil hesitated, before he received the rune, and started analyzing it. Once finished, the look on his face was unsightly, as the data appeared after the analysis was one phrase: unknown item.

He looked at Ibro who just faked his carefree face look, and felt some mysterious fog clouding Ibro in front of him.

"May you provide some info about this item, Sir?" Regil said, as humble as possible.

"Why? Don't you know what it is?" Ibro asked, in some faked surprise, "if you don't know, then this will add more value to my item, right?"

Regil swallowed his throat, as he knew what Ibro said was correct. "I need to verify first with our judge, wait a minute please."

Ibro had no complaint, as he waited while Regil wrote something on paper, lit it up, and then waited until it reappeared again. "We can dedicate five hundred percent of the value of this item to your total offer," Regil stated what judges just said.

Ibro then smiled, as he pushed the rune through the interface, to appear into the other side of it. "This is called Rioneed runes, and it's a very devastating rune that could attack a certain area for a couple of hours without leaving a trace behind."

Regil caught the rune, and checked it more closely this time, and his face features showed no reaction of interest at all. "May I remind you sir that this description is quite vague," Regil said.

"Oh, I know that," Ibro replied, casually, "so I just gifted you this rune so you can try it yourselves and assess its value. After all, it's a weapon of mass destruction, so I advise you not to play carelessly with it like this," Ibro said before adding, "I also strongly advise to use it in a huge war, in a very vast place, and record the effects that would happen, as I won't give you another without a price."

Ibro's words were sincere, but the man in front of him seemed not to care as he kept inspecting the rune before finally giving up. He went busy for a while, and then returned with empty hands, as he said:

"We will put it to the test in the next couple of hours, and then I will return it to you Sir."

"No problem," Ibro said, as he leaned to close the interface, "I will wait for your reply then," and then he closed it, even before Regil could say a word. Ibro wasn't worrying about his rune value, in fact he would consider distributing his runes through this guild if possible.

Such a widely spread guild, with such a good system, would be a better means to sell his runes to, and gain a better price.

He knew the price he received from Moran was lower than the actual value of his runes. however, he didn't have time to wait, and thus he had to accept that low price back then, but not now.

He knew he wouldn't need to be rash here, as he put a time schedule for himself, six months preparations, and six months rescue mission.

He had one year time limit here, and despite the time limit was taken off from him, he had to deal with that nonetheless, hoping the time difference between this game world and the world's he came from would be still active, as this would save him a lot of trouble.

Ibro just wasted the two hours trying to organize the next plan of preparation in his mind. He asked the system to be ready to redistribute all the gates in all the worlds he had, including the cultivation worlds.

He had cultivated villages for quite a long time now, and he left them untouched for a long time already, enough to see results by now. He just hoped these villages would surprise him, and not be a disappointment.

Just as he waited and watched the ongoing repairing process of his village, the interface lit up again in front of him, as a request came to him from Regil. Ibro, casually, opened the interface, to be met by another face, not that of Regil.

"Mr. Ibro, correct?" that stranger asked, in a more formal and respectful tone than of Regil's.

"Yes, it's me. I was waiting for Mr. Regil to speak with me," Ibro said, "Is there anything wrong?" he asked.

"No, no sir, everything is fine. It's just we tested your Rioneed rune, and surely its effects had gone beyond our expectations, far exceeded them all, so I came here in person, to be the personal judge for your offer, and to better know you Mr. Ibro. My name is Osan, and I'm honored to meet you."

That man spoke in a very respectful, very professional manner that made Ibro subconsciously smile. "I'm honored to meet you sir, so have you already tested and evaluated my runes?" he asked.

"Sure, and if you may, I want to ask more about this rune. In fact, the previous assessment of mine was terribly wrong, and the new offer we would like to give to you is one hundred time the market value of this rune. We tried to assess its value by different methods, and we had reached a conclusion regarding it, so the true value of this rune plus the value of the info related to it is quite clear to us right now. Do you want to hear it in gold coin value, or any other value?" Osan asked.

Ibro was astonished by the smooth efficiency of this guild, very impressed by this. "May I know the value in terms of soldier tokens please," Ibro asked, as he wanted to know how much difference he would get.

"Well," Osan paused for a moment, before ending the calculations using the interface in front of him, "the value of a single rune would equal to one billion soldier tokens, at the least. The more runes sold in patches, the higher the possibility of the price to rise up," he finally said.

Ibro was greatly shocked, he never thought the difference would be ten times, whole ten times, than the offer he had received before. He was now angry, but he overcame this moment of anger so quick as he asked, out of the blue:

"May I ask, if I can distribute these runes through your guild?"

Osan was astonished to hear the question, as per the experts assessment of the runes, Ibro hardly could have a handful of them, just barely enough to close the deal between the two of them. "May I ask how many runes you plan to sell, Sir?" Osan asked, carefully anticipating the answer.

"As much as you can distribute," Ibro said, before adjusting his position, "If you want a thousand, then it's a thousand. If you want a million, then it's a million. Whatever you can distribute, I will make sure to comply with the needs at suitable time," he added, boasting about his infinite ability to make and sell runes.

Osan swallowed his throat, couldn't believe his ears, or his mind when he reached this conclusion. "A-Are you the one making these runes?" he asked, with much more caution and hesitation.

"Sure, I'm Rioneed, the blacksmith and rune maker. I made a bunch of rudimentary runes once before, and sold them in the game here, but now I plan to sell my top creation. So, what do you say?"
