Chapter 15. Myth: Satyrs
A satyr is a male nature spirit with ears and a tail resembling of a horse. Can sometimes be portrayed with horse like legs, but generally represented as human.
Satyrs are characterized as lovers of wine, music, dance and woman. Inhabit remote locations like woodlands or mountains.
Satyrs are more recently being portrayed as part goat part human. With legs and horns of a goat. They are native nature spirits. Sometimes are referred to as fauns.
