My Wolf and I

Chapter 10 ✔

AIDEN

The kiss started off slow and innocent but soon turned fast and hot. Jay and I dropped our bags to have free hands to grab onto each other. It was like we had to be closer even if we were already pressed against each other. I moaned as Jay pushed his leg between mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck and did a small hop -the balls of my feet never left the ground- Jay got the hint and picked me up by the backs of my thighs pressing me hard against the wall.

He growled low as he started kissing down my neck. “Too many clothes,” he stated, his voice rough, as he snapped the cloth of the turtleneck against my skin. Instead, he started nibbling the skin right above it, I moaned again, this time louder than I intended.

“Are you going to join my class? If not, please find a more appropriate place to do that.” Our business teacher said causing us to remove our faces from one another, but not our bodies. I panted softly trying to get my composure.

“Yes sir, we will be joining. Please just give us a moment to calm ourselves.” I said gently pushing Jay back so I could stand on my own. The teacher nodded before returning to the classroom.

“I wish you would call me Sir, that would be hot,” Jay whispered in my ear causing me to shiver.

“What’s next? Want me to call you Daddy?” I joked

He made a face before saying “Ew. Boner gone. Way to ruin the mood.” it caused me to let out a small giggle.

“You’re sure that it’s not too much of a problem?” I asked one last time while walking up the stairs to the apartment Cato and I once happily shared. Jayvee had followed me from campus to the apartment after class. “Because if it’s too much of a problem, I think I can manage on my own.” I stopped in front of the door. I was looking down at the ground awkwardly.

“Hey, look at me,” he said taking my chin and lifting my eyes to meet his. “I am glad to help you, alright? Anytime you need something of me I will not hesitate to help.” He grinned and then winked at me, “Gotta earn brownie points where I can, right?”

I laughed as I opened the door, but my face dropped when I saw Cato walking out of the kitchen. “I thought we said you weren’t going to be here,” I said walking into the apartment, so Jay had room to do the same.

“We didn’t agree to anything. You told me not to be here and I chose not to listen.” he glared at me harshly before turning his angry eyes to Jay. I don’t know why but it really frightened me to see him look at Jay like that.

“You must be the reason my 11-year relationship ended. Thanks for that, asshole.”

“Jayvee is not the reason we broke up, Cato. The reason we broke up is because you lied to me for the past year and a half.”

He rolled his eyes before walking into the bedroom. I ground my teeth in frustration. But my anger instantly dissipated when I felt the weight of a hand on my shoulder. “What would you like to pack up first? Do you have any boxes we could use?” He asked, even in the short time of knowing each other, he seemed to know just how to get my mind to focus.

“The kitchen is where I have the most things so we should get that out of the way first. I don’t have any boxes, but I do I heavy-duty trash bags that should work for now. The stand mixer can just go in the car itself though.” I lead him to the kitchen and got us each a trash bag. “All of the baking dishes and cookie sheets are mine, they’re in that cabinet. The metal mixing bowls too, in that cabinet and all the rainbow utensils on the counter and in those two drawers.” I told him pointing to each of the areas.

While he did that, I took to unplugging the toaster and stand mixer. I took them both to the door, decided making a pile would be better than making more trips down the stairs than necessary. I walked back into the kitchen. Grabbed my trash bag and began filling it with the rest of my things from the kitchen. When I was done with the Jay had finished too so I told him everything in the living room while I took care of the bathroom.

Once that was done, we were left with one more room, The bedroom. Cato had the door shut but it was quiet. “We just have to get my clothes and then we are set,” I said biting my lip while picking at the skin next to my fingernails.

“Why don’t we take the other stuff to the car first? Then when we get all your clothes, we get the hell out of here and I buy you some dinner?” Jay said taking ahold of my hand to stop my picking. He smiled at me with such sincerity, but I could tell in his eyes that he was upset, what about I didn’t know.

I nodded before smiling, “Are you really asking me on a date when I’m leaving my ex’s apartment?”

He laughed loudly while walking to the door. “I wasn’t going to call it a date, but I’ll take what I can get Sugar.”

It was a miracle that everything fit into my car. I was sure that I could make room enough for the things from the bedroom. With a nod of determination, I grabbed the door to the bedroom and swung it open.

“The fuck do you want?” Cato snapped looking up from the papers scattered over the bed. He was standing and leaning over, papers on every inch of the bed. Jay narrowed his eyes at him but didn’t say anything.

“I want to get my stuff and never see you again. So that is what I’m doing.” I walked into the room and went to the closet; I grabbed a duffel bag and an old book bag. I started taking my shirts off the hangers and throwing them into the bags. I can fold them later was my thought. Once I had all my shirts, hoodies, and pants, the duffel was stuffed full I could barely get it closed. I grabbed the bookbag and filled it with my underwear, socks, sweatpants, and shorts. I looked around the room to see if I could see anything I forgot, seeing nothing I began walking. “Oh! Almost forgot.” I said handing Jay the duffle. I walked back into the room and ripped the comforter off the bed causing his papers to go flying in the air. “This is mine,” I said while balling it into my arms and grabbing my pillow off the bed.

Jay gave me the biggest smile I had ever seen before. “Ready for dinner, Sugar?” I grinned while nodding at him happily.

Cato didn’t try to stop me from walking out, I was glad he didn’t but a small part of me was hurt that he didn’t even want to try.

Jay walked to his car and threw my duffel in his backseat. I raised my brow at him, confused. “What? You think I’m gonna let you sleep in your car when I have a bigass house with plenty of room?” Shocked, I walked over to his car and put the rest of my things in. He closed the door and gently grabbed my face in a loving hold.

“You really mean it?”

“Aiden, I have never been more serious.” I grinned at him before wrapping my arms around his neck and kissing him. He pulled back before it could go too far. “You can have the guest room for as long as you need.”

He doesn’t want to share a room. He hates you. Why would he sleep with someone like you if not just for pleasure. He probably regrets it. You were horrible. I shook my head to clear my head of the voice. Time to call the doctor.
