Chapter 898
Esther also had a family background that many could only dream of. Even during her time at the Ansteys, she had Thomas
watching over her.
In comparison, Mandy felt like she had nothing at all.
"I want her back by my side," Bradley said, a statement that made Mandy scoff inwardly.
'Quite delusional of Bradley! After everything that happened, how could Esther possibly return to his side?' she thought.
"Bradley, you wanting her back isn't impossible." Mandy set down her teacup and said, "But you might as well prepare for a
tough pursuit."
"What do you mean?" Bradley didn't get it.
"It means you'll have to swallow your pride, admit your past mistakes to Esther, and firmly believe you'll correct them," Mandy
explained. "Although it might be challenging, you do have an advantage—both of you share a son, a natural bond between you."
"Are you sure following your advice will reunite us?"
"I'm not sure, but if you follow my advice, you stand a chance. Otherwise, your previous approach will only push her further
away," Mandy replied.
Mandy's words left Bradley in contemplation. After a while, he asked slowly, "If I follow your advice, when can I..."
"Don't rush things. Pursuing your wife is the same."
Mandy tapped the screen of her phone, showing pictures of Logan and Esther to Bradley. "What do you think your advantage is
compared to Logan?"
Bradley's gaze turned gloomy. As a man, he didn't want to admit that his rival might be more exceptional than him.
"Bradley, understanding yourself and knowing your enemy increases your chances of winning. Take your time to think about it.
We'll talk in detail once you're sure you need my help."
Mandy picked up her limited edition bag and gracefully left. As soon as she got into her car, she dialed X's number.
"I spoke to Bradley as you advised. He seems quite intrigued."
X's mechanical voice came from the other end of the call. "Good job. Leah will reunite with you next Friday."
Mandy was stunned and incredulously asked, "Really?!" Upon hearing the good news, her face lit up with joy, and she was
already planning how to reunite with Leah.
"Yes," the mechanical voice stated coldly. "You can acknowledge her, but she must only stay by your side as an assistant,
understood?"
Mandy hurriedly nodded. "As long as she returns to my side, I'll do anything for you."
X stated, "Mandy, we only happen to share the same enemy. Do as I say, and I'll grant your desires. But if you dare betray me..."
Before that, Mandy had contemplated breaking free from X. Upon hearing that X intended to reunite her with Leah now, she no
longer entertained thoughts of rebellion.
"I'll never betray you. I, Mandy Pendleton, swear that if I betray you, I'll meet a terrible end!"
