My Husband Wants Me Dead novel (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 881

Kevin stared in disbelief at the unusual behavior of Bradley. Something seemed off. How could Bradley display such an attitude?
Just as Kevin struggled to comprehend Bradley’s behavior, he heard Bradley continue. “It’s okay even if you broke your legs.”
He didn’t say it aloud, but the unspoken words lingered: ‘As long as you’re alive.’
“I’ll take care of you,” Bradley added.
Esther side-eyed him and sarcastically remarked, “Bradley Warner, have you become addicted to playing the lovesick role?”
Bradley’s icy gaze fell upon Logan. It seemed as if he hadn’t heard Esther’s words clearly. Instead, he said, “Esther, as long as
you return to my side, I can forgive everything that happened before.”
Esther found that laughable. Forgive her? What right did Bradley have to forgive her?
“Bradley, open your eyes and see clearly. I am not the person you think I am.”
Kevin stepped in to explain on Esther’s behalf. “Bradley, she’s Esther’s elder sister.”
“F*ck off!” Bradley roared furiously. “Kevin, are you still lying to me? Is that interesting to you?”
Kevin massaged his temples, his voice grave. “Bradley, have you forgotten that you divorced Esther? Have you forgotten that
you pushed Esther into a corner step by step?
“You’re here now pretending to be sentimental and lovesick. Aren’t you disgusted with yourself? If you truly loved Esther, didn’t
you notice she’s different from Esther?”
Bradley sternly said, “Kevin! We’ll settle our score later.”
Bradley then walked straight to Esther’s wheelchair. “Honey, let’s go home.”
When Esther heard the word “honey” coming from Bradley, she felt nauseated almost to the point of vomiting. She took out a
gold needle hidden in the wheelchair and jabbed it into Bradley’s outstretched hand.
Bradley immediately felt a piercing pain on his acupoint, as if his entire body’s bones were aching from a severe beating.
“Bradley, I am your former wife’s elder sister—by blood.”

Bradley was in so much pain that cold sweat dripped from his forehead.
He said through his gritted teeth, “Impossible. Esther doesn’t have a twin.”
“Are you sure?”
Through a haze, Bradley stared at Esther. She had the exact same from the Esther he remembered.
“My younger sister was your wife. How much do you really know about her?
“Do you know her favorite food? Her favorite color? Do you know who her biological parents are? Have you truly understood
her? If you haven’t truly understood her, what gives you the right to think I’m not her sister?!”
Bradley’s arm felt numb and unresponsive.
He looked at Esther’s detached face and questioned with agony, “You say you’re her sister. What proof do you have?”
“Heh!” Esther leaned forward slightly, gripping Bradley’s chin. Bradley’s strikingly handsome face was reflected in her eyes.
“Bradley, do you know why I’ve come back?”
Bradley dumbly looked at the face that he had only seen in dreams and asked in a hoarse voice, “Why?”
“Because I want you to experience everything you did to my sister.
“I want your remaining days to be worse than death.
“I want you to live your entire life in my sister’s shadow.
“Remember, this is what you owe her.”
Kevin stood there, staring blankly at Esther. For a brief moment, he almost believed that the current Esther and the former
Bradley were one and the same.
