MY HEART (REUNION OF LEO AND DEO)

Chapter THE CORRECTORS

Just as John shouted the word ''no'', the man with wings stopped wanting to kill the future John and looked toward John's direction then raised down his swords looking confused. John was happy that the man stopped wanting to kill the future John but John was confused as the man continued staring in his direction. John looked back to see if the man was staring at something or someone else that might be behind him but he saw no one and looked at the man back still staring in his direction. The man looks at the future John then gazes back at John.

John said to himself ''can he see me?'', seeing the man's gaze was still fixed on him. John said to himself ''it can't be possible right, am not real''.

While John was debating on his thought whether the man could see him or not because his gaze was fixed in his direction, Anmer appeared next to John and said to John ''We have to go now''.

John looked beside him and saw Anmer then replied Anmer ''not now, Anmer. I still haven't found out what my dream truly means and who is that person that has wings. He tried to kill the future me''.

''You can no longer know about the future or anything anymore. We have to return to the present'' said Anmer to John.

John was confused to hear Anmer say that to him then John asked Anmer ''what are you talking about?''.

''You have tampered with the future, John, and he can see you right now'' said Anmer.

''You mean the man with wings?'' asked John.

''Yes, and we have to go now'' said Anmer.

''Wait. How did I tamper with the future and how can the man see me now?'' asked John.

''You shouted the word 'no' and that has created a loophole between the future and the present. You can be seen in the future right now, we have to leave'' said Anmer.

''But he was about to kill the future me and I can't just stand still and let him kill the future me'' said John.

''You should have at least waited and seen if he did kill the future you. We have to go now the correctors are waiting for you and the three others'' said Anmer.

''What? W..what are talking about? W....wh....who are the correctors?'' asked John.

''You will find out when you return to the present'' said Anmer, then the man with wings suddenly started running toward John's direction with his swords.

Upon seeing the man running in their direction Anmer said to John ''we have to go right now, John''.

At the same time, four men appeared in the dining room standing a few paces from uncle James, Adewale, and Adetutu. They were all dressed in white and were wearing black local hats, the color of their eyes was pure white and their heads were bowed.

Uncle James was the first to notice the four men's presence in the dining room followed by Adewale and Adetutu. Uncle James, Adetutu, and Adewale were scared and startled upon seeing the four men and stood up from the chairs they were seated on wondering how they got in. Uncle James asked the four men ''who are you people?''.

The four men said nothing to uncle James, Adetutu, and Adewale but raised their heads. Adewale, uncle James, and Adetutu became more frightened upon seeing the four men's eyes.

As the man continued to run toward John and Anmer, Anmer said to John ''we have to go now or you will be erased from God's plan''

''What is God's plan?'' John asked Anmer.

''I can't tell you about that, we should leave now'' said Anmer.

''Then am not leaving if you don't tell me who that man is or about God's plan. Am also not believing the man can see me'' said John, and looked forward at the man with wings to see him still running toward him.

''That man will kill you if he gets to you and that will be the end. Come with me now, John'' said Anmer.

''Am not going with you'' said John, then the man suddenly used his speed power.

In the blink of an eye, the man got close to John and Anmer and jumped very high to the sky with his swords raised to kill John which John saw but stood still believing the man couldn't see him.

Seeing the man jump up to the sky Anmer said to John ''you coming with me isn't optional, John'', then Anmer touched John's shoulder.

John looked at the man in the sky as the man's swords was pointed at him not minding Anmer or what it said.

The man came down with a speed force from the sky to strike John with his swords but before his swords could get to John, John and Anmer suddenly disappeared and the man's swords thrust into the ground making the man get angry, the man shouted in anger.

Adewale, Adetutu, and uncle James didn't know what to do, and running from the four weird men wasn't an option, all they did was just stare at the four men. The four men didn't attack them also but continued staring at the three of them.

Uncle James said to Adewale and Adetutu ''are we just going to continue staring at them just as they continue staring at us?''.

''I know we don't know who they are and they look scary but I don't think they are here to hurt us if they are just staring at us'' said Adetutu to uncle James.

''Or maybe they are just taking their time to kill us'' said uncle James (scared) to Adetutu and Adewale.

''No, uncle. I don't think they are here for us but something else'' said Adewale to Adetutu and uncle James.

''Then they should just respond instead of staring at us with their scary faces and eyes. Or maybe they are sent by God'' said uncle James.

''That is ridiculous. They are not sent here by God but am sure it has to do with John. The storm was the first and now them. Everything started when John was with Anmer, it seems something is happening'' said Adetutu.

''I think we should do something instead of just staring at them'' said uncle James.

''Things like what?'' Adetutu asked uncle James.

''Run or attack them'' said uncle James.

''No. How can you even suggest that we should attack them? Do they look human to you?'' said Adewale to uncle James.

''What about running? That one should be a better option'' said uncle James.

''I thought we said no running. Uncle, running is not an option. If decide to run are we going to leave John? And how are we even gonna get out of the compound with the storm out there? And again what if we run and they got pissed off who knows what they might do to us when we don't know what they are capable of. So, no more suggestions from you, uncle, and let's just continue staring at them'' said Adewale to uncle James.

Uncle James looked directly into the four men's eyes and became more frightened then said ''I can't look at their eyes anymore it looks scary''.

''Then don't. You are behaving cowardly, uncle'' said Adetutu to uncle James.

Uncle James was annoyed hearing Adetutu say that to him then he said to her with annoyance ''what do you expect me to do? To go and stand in front of them and look straight into their eyes to prove to you that am not a coward. I also know you are scared of them''.

Just then, John regained consciousness in the dining room and his hand was unglued from Anmer. John opened his eyes and removed his hand from Anmer then Anmer closed itself. As Anmer closed itself John said unhappily ''no, no, no. Am not done''.

Adetutu, uncle James, and Adewale heard when John talked making them look back to see him awake staring at Anmer (who is now closed) unhappy, and went to him. As they all got to John, Adetutu asked John ''what happened, John?''.

Adewale (curious) also asked John "how did it go with Anmer?''.

Just as John was about to give answers to both Adewale's and Adetutu's questions, the four men said in a union to the four of them ''We are the correctors and we are here to correct the mistake you have all made''.

Hearing the correctors speak made John look in their direction and was surprised to see the correctors and then said to himself ''Anmer is right''.

Adetutu, Adewale, and uncle James heard John speak to himself but they were confused by his words, then Adetutu asked John ''what do you mean?''.

John stood up looking at the correctors and not answering Adetutu, and then said to himself ''the correctors are truly here''.

''Who the hell are the correctors?'' uncle James (confused) asked John.

Adewale (confused) asked John ''what mistake are they talking about?''.

John wanted to give answers to Adewale's and uncle James's questions but couldn't say anything hearing the four men say in a union to him "John, do not say any more words to them or tell them what Anmer showed you so the consequence won't become higher than what it is going to be''.

''What are they talking about, John? What did Anmer show you?'' Adetutu (confused) asked John.

''John tampered with an incident in the future and since you were all in agreement with him to go to the future you will all bear the consequence together'' said the correctors in a union to uncle James, Adetutu, and Adewale.

Uncle James, Adewale, and Adetutu were confused by the correctors' words then uncle James said to the correctors ''the future? We don't know what you are talking about. We never told him to go to the future and he didn't go to the future''.

Adetutu said "The future?", as she thought about the word future the correctors mentioned then something came to her mind. Adetutu said to Uncle James, John, and Adewale "the dream John had must have been the future and if it is, then who John saw might not be the present him but either the future John or John's child''.

The correctors shouted in anger at Adetutu "Enough Deo", upon hearing her say that, and that made uncle James, Adewale, John, and Adetutu flinch in fear, then Adewale said silently to Adetutu ''I think you are right, A, that's why they shouted now''.

''If you are right, Adetutu, something terrible happened and it wasn't only me Anmer showed me but....'' said John to Adetutu, but was cut short of words as one of the correctors appeared in front of them, one behind them, one at their right side and the last at their left side.

Uncle James became extremely frightened (fidgeting) and asked the corrector in front of them ''what are you doing, Mr corrector?''.

''Correcting your mistake'' said the four correctors in a union to uncle James.

''What is our mistake?'' Adetutu asked the correctors.

''Sending John to the future and John knows the rest which he must not tell you all or the consequence will be greater than this. Get ready for the consequence'' said the correctors in a union to the four of them.

"Who are you people really?" Adewale asked the correctors.

"We correct mistakes that can change the world schedule, made either by gods or humans" said the correctors in a union.

"So we made a mistake and you are here to correct it. But why don't you want us to know our mistake?" Adetutu asked the correctors.

"Knowing about it will cause more damage to the world schedule and we might have to erase one of you to put the schedule back in place. Not knowing except John will make it easy for us to set things right" said the correctors in a union.

Just as Adewale was about to talk to Adetutu, suddenly the wind outside broke through the windows and came into the house to the dining room. The wind swirl up the table and chairs in the dining room then it surrounds Adewale, uncle James, John, and Adetutu,

As the wind swirled around Adetutu, uncle James, Adewale and John, the four correctors were standing outside the wind, each at the front, back, right, and left side of the wind. Adewale, uncle James, John, and Adetutu were now frightened as they stood close to each other and the wind swirling around them

Uncle James (scared) asked ''are they trying to kill us?'', as the wind continue to swirl around them.

''I doubt that. They never mention anything about death except correcting our mistake'' said Adewale.

''Then what does correcting our mistake have to do with a wind that is swirling around us'' asked John.

''We don't know and there is nothing we can do right now'' said Adetutu.

The four correctors moved closer to the wind and touch it then lightning came out of their hands into the wind and the lightning began to swirl around with the wind. By now half of the house has been destroyed by the wind. Immediately after the four correctors created the lightning, they began mouthing some words.

Seeing the lightning, uncle James became terrified and said ''first the wind and now lightning. And you said they are not trying to kill us''.

''Even if they are, there is nothing we can do'' said Adewale.

Suddenly the wind began to swirl Adewale, uncle James, Adetutu, and John, and at the same time, they were being struck by the lightning that was created by the four correctors. The four of them screamed as they were being swirled by the wind and struck by the lightning.
